sometimes i think about how she might randomly open up to someone in a moment of trust. like a coworker or a neighbor. and she'll say something alarming about her mental state. or just generally say she's not doing great. but because she makes so many jokes and she's not a very gloomy person, she doesn't deliver the message in a clearly distressed way. so they wouldn't take it seriously. and neither would she after a while. like they'd laugh it off and so would she. she just needs someone to look her in the eyes and really listen to what she's saying sometimes.

hello again! in an effort to be more organized and purposeful with my time here, i've decided to actively track threads instead of just hoping i'll remember all of them. i've placed them on a carrd and as i get through threads/asks and queue them, i'll update its status here as well. if you don't see your thread, i don't have it to reply to! it doesn't mean i've forgotten you! (i've only really added the threads i've begun/have been active with since i've returned.) please feel free to send me a message to link our thread so i can add it here. if you would like to write, i'll try to queue up my starter call. alternatively, if you see your thread and you do not want me to continue it, please let me know as well, no hard feelings. as of right now, until i'm all caught up, i won't be writing any more starters. (this is not to be mistaken for my one off, silly little small opens). it's not right to those who have been waiting on me for replies. (consistent will probably never be the norm here, but i want to be purposeful and considerate). i'm also going to be a lot more conservative with how many ask memes i reblog. i really enjoy writing asks (like a lot), but i don't want to hoard them. i want to write meaningful content that can be turned into better interactions. not all asks are meant to be threads or carry deeper meanings than it is, but as of right now i've been restricting the number of asks i turn into threads for my own sanity. which i think limits potential interactions because i've created a workload i can't level with. until i've cleared my inbox completely i won't reblog any more. you're more than welcome to send original content though! <3 i think that's all i have for now ! the tracker is linked above!

"Mimicking as a wooden board?" He gave her a thumbs up. "You're turning yourself into a decent one, at that."

A pause...

"Are you done being a plank now? Are you ready to blossom as a butter- i mean, human being again?"
