AITA for leaving someone to drown?

I (62 M) was walking through a cave one day when I came across someone trapped in an area filling up with water. They said "hello" to me in an annoying tone that sounded more like "hewwo", and seemed to recognize me.

I didn't like their vibe, even as they begged for help. They even promised to do anything I wanted, but I told them to perish.

Let me be clear, their vibes were awful. I fully believe they deserved to die. But what do you think?

basically, i (20X) wanted to eat a leftover slice of pizza from yesterday, but when i went to get said slice of pizza i found out that my twin (20X) already ate it. i got mad and pushed them down the stairs, but in my defense they shouldnt have eaten the last slice of pizza in the first place

My uncle (ancient m) made me (36 f) a rocket. It was supposed to be a surprise for after my kids hatched but my uncle’s financial advisor (50s or 60s m) told me about it and I decided to try it out. However, I wasn’t thinking and I went out in a storm. The rocket crashed and it took me 10 years to get back to earth to meet my sons. I sadly didn’t get to be apart of the first years of their lives

Apparently it was mentioned in Animage Magazine, March 2024 that she can read hiragana but not katakana, which is why the show title is entirely in hiragana when usually at least "Pretty Cure" is in katakana.

So she can't read half the alphabet. Unclear on kanji.

reason? when legends z-a comes out it'll have been around 11-12 years since x and y came out (depends on when in 2025 if it's closer to 11 or 12)

this matches the player age in legends arceus, as legends arceus came out "15 or so" years after diamond and pearl did (15 years 4 months, specifically)
