Busy Bees

The kids loved our reveal of our new yard and their new outdoor play space... Especially their bee themed playground equipment. I just had to dress them in little bee themed outfits beforehand... 😊

I also may have a problem in that there were multiple outfits I could have picked for them... I love bees okay.

Hey guys! I filled in our “about us” page. (It needs perfecting at a later date but this one will do for now). As part of this we asked the twins a bunch of interview questions and put up their answers. My husband and I also filled out our own little section about us and a small section for Star but we know anyone’s really only here for Arlow & August so...

So this morning I managed to talk August out of a meltdown about not wanting to wear her glasses any more by convincing her to wear her spare pair instead. These ones are much lighter on her face but usually she loves her larger ones which she picked out for herself so I was a little thrown off guard. 

I’ve introduced sticker charts for both of the twins recently and August’s willingness to complete her everyday tasks such as brushing her teeth and going to bed on time has improved greatly, especially as she's eager to stay on par with her brother and not fall behind too many stickers. While this morning was a sign that she isn't completely meltdown free, this is a still a great improvement to what we were dealing with just last month.

I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion around the internet about Calming Bottles (/Glitter Jars) and how useful they can be for emotion regulation and I really feel that August will benefit from something like that so in a few days I’m going to sit down with the kids and we’re all going to create our very own glitter bottles.

Thank you Nyomi for having my twins over to play! They had a blast seeing their friends again and meeting some new friends too! 

                                  Double playdate

Hello everyone fist i wanna say sorry for posting in while when you have asthma and you have a cold it’s really experienced :{ anyway today we double playdate with Aviana and her twins Jamila and Jahi from @mommaneedssomewine   and the Arlow and August from @abel-twins-sims all the kids had such good time Jenny really liked seeing August again and meeting Jamila they had so much fun playing outside and being little cuties, now the boys had their own fun playing with soccer balls, action figures and being little boys. Since Aviana came it was nice to have another adult to talk to while the kids played and Nadia really enjoyed being held by Aviana she didn’t want her to put her down it was cute and now everybody is sleepy so that means mommy can rest.
