From May 7 - July 12, 2019, Victoria Munroe Fine Art presents ARCHITECTURE & GARDENS: 18th, 19th and Early 20th century works on paper. This eclectic collection of works on paper comprises studies, plans, designs and land surveys made by professional architects, surveyors, landowners as well as students. The architectural and garden projects illuminate the skill required in the eighteenth, nineteenth, and early twentieth centuries to convey the beauty of their techniques and the engineering behind their designs. Land surveys were created as presentation drawings to document the exact placement of every tree, water feature and arable plot of a family’s property.
