Kaffa Cerrado is almost stealth in its operations. They have been active for the past five years or so. They started as a roasterie, and now they have started their own cafes. Pour over coffee looks easy, but is the most difficult to master. There are endless variables from the grind size to roast type to temperature to the pour. I have been using it since 2005ish, when I got a melitta. I still fail most of the times. Only Japanese master it. Rest are winging it like me. Good old Kaapi. Traditional roasters use dark roast for the desi kaapi. It is a good thing, as it shines through the milk. At times filter Kaapi tastes better than the espresso based cold coffees. (at Delhi) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzUWENDAH3r/?igshid=19oormn6dsapy

Back in Luru after a year. Last year I came here amidst heavy rains. I got dengue, and rushed back. I didn’t want to come back. But, I am back. This time with my original partner in crime @sun80shan . We wanted to come here and set up a cafe in 2007. We never did. So, we decided to take a trip down the fantasy memory lane. What if we had come here? So, here we are. Tomorrow we go to Chikmagalur. We will come back and explore more.
