Senshi and Souei Adopt Kurai

"Senshi? Is the prince ready?" Souei asked as he signed the last paper for the medical charts. Senshi would give a nod, soon picking up what looked to be a dark gray great white guppy with black and red ombre hair who seemed to be asleep. "Yes," they said looking at Souei, "Shall I take him back?"

Souei gives a nod. "Yes. Just signed the last of the papers so all is good to go," he said. "All right then. I will be back in a bit," they said. "See you in a bit then" he said. Senshi would smirk a bit before kissing his cheek causing Souei to squeak a bit.

Souei huffed as he looked at them. "All right, cheeky," he started, "need to get going before his parents think something else is wrong." Senshi pouts a bit. "You're no fun," they said playfully. "I know, I know," he said, "But we have more work to do once you get back."

Senshi nods before going to leave. "Right. I'll be back soon," they said. Souei nods as he starts working on other things around the clinic. Though neither of them nor the young prince would be aware of what had happened at the prince's home.

—Time Skip—

Senshi soon noticed there was smoke in the air as they neared the home of the Mimic and Mystic royals. Upon looking up, they stopped as they noticed smoke rising. They frowned as they suddenly had a bad feeling. Slowing down now, they kept their guard up for anything.

Senshi would stop dead in their tracks upon seeing the house engulfed in flames. Holding the prince closer, Senshi couldn't stop a few tears from falling. They looked down at the prince as they heard him coo up at them a bit. Looking back at the house, they knew what they must do.

Taking a more shadowed route, Senshi quickly made their way back to the clinic. They would quickly open the door causing Souei to jump in shock and look back. He would go to say something but stop noticing the tears on Senshi's face and the prince in their arms.

"Senshi?" he started, "what's going on? Why do you still have the prince?" Senshi would go over, gently grab his arm and lead him to a more secluded area of the clinic. Souei followed, looking at his mate with worry. Senshi would take a moment before slowly speaking.

"... They're gone…," they whispered. Souei blinked a couple times before it dawned on him, his eyes widening in shock and fear. "N-No," he stammered, "they can't be…" Senshi could only give a shaky nod in response. Souei took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair.

Looking back at Senshi, he asked, "do you know what happened?" Senshi gave a shake of their head. "All I saw was the house engulfed with flames," they said, gently cradling the guppy in their arms, "no one could have survived whatever happened…"

Souei took a moment to process the information before giving a sigh. "What do you think we should do?" he asked, going to gently pet the prince's head. "Well," Senshi began, "I was thinking that… we could raise him. Keep him safe from whoever took his family…"

Souei thought for a moment before nodding. "I agree," he said, "But we will have to keep his presence a secret in case anyone comes looking for him." Senshi nods, "of course." Souei looks at the prince before gently petting him again, the guppy purring a bit.

"From today on," he started, "you'll be our little one. And when of age, then you will learn the truth." Senshi would nod in agreement. "Until then," they said, "we will take care of you, prince Kurai."

Hikari/Kurai/Shadow Meet Nikki

February 8th, 1996 12:17 a.m. (Hatching Time)

It was a little after midnight. The adults were talking while Kurai, Shadow, and Nicholas played. Hikari was watching them from beside Nicholas's egg sibling, having started to get a bit sleepy. He had just closed his eyes when he heard soft sounds. Curious, he opened his eyes and looked around.

His eyes soon landed on the egg as a very small thump was heard. Blinking a couple of times, Hikari carefully sat up. His eyes soon widening seeing a crack in the egg. The guppy inside having been quietly cracking it open. Hikari softly gasped as a small bit was chipped off.

A beautiful jade green eye peeked out at him. Hikari couldn't help but stare, giving a soft coo. He get a quiet giggle from the guppy inside, him smiling widely. Small bits of the egg would break off more, a second jade green eye soon being revealed, Hikari smiling more.

Fiona looked over to check on Hikari, a bit surprised to see him awake and sitting up. "Hikari?" she gently called out, "Is everything okay?" Hikari giggles a bit before looking at her, simply stating, "cwack." Fiona blinked a couple of times before quickly getting up and going over.

Iro, Malvado, and Yosa looked at her as she did so. "Fiona, love? Everything all right?" Iro asked. "I think the egg is hatching," she replied, carefully sitting beside Hikari and the egg. By this time, Nicholas, Kurai, and Shadow had become aware that something was up, making their way over.

Fiona gently looked at where Hikari was looking, softly gasping as the eyes Hikari saw now looked at her. She couldn't help but smile softly, speaking softly, "Hey there, sweetie." A soft yellow hand soon reaches out, starting to break more of the egg open, soft mews heard.

Nicholas perks up, trying to climb up into Fiona's lap. Fiona smiles softly as she helps him up. "That's your little sibby, baby," she said softly. Nicholas cooed at the egg curiously, watching as the guppy continued to break more of the egg shell away.

Nicholas quickly moved forward as the guppy fell through. They'd be revealed to be a soft yellow techno troll guppy with beautiful jade green eyes and amethyst purple hair, along with a purple techno heart. Nicholas coos at them, smiling at them before squealing, carefully hugging them close.

The guppy giggles and does their best to hug back. "Aww~ Mini Iro~" Yosa teased. Iro playfully rolled his eyes, getting up and going over. "They look a little like me. But I'm more curious to know our new little one's gender," he said as Fiona goes to gently check the guppy.

She smiles softly and sweetly, "It seems we have a princess." "A Mimic princess in the first clutch? Well, I'll be," Yosa said. "Oh, exciting news~" Mal exclaimed. Iro looked at Fiona, "what shall her name be?" Fiona hummed as she thought for a moment. "What about...," she started, "Nikki?"

"Nikki," Iro said with a smile, "it sounds perfect." Fiona giggled as Iro went to pick his kids up, him gently looking at Nikki. "What does you think about the name?" he asked her. She responded with a squeal and giggle, Iro chuckling in response. "Well, I guess that settles that," he said, kissing both on the forehead.

Both guppies coo at their father/sire. Kurai and Shadow move closer, trying to see Nikki better. Iro smiles, gently setting Nicholas and Nikki down so they can see her. Hikari crawls over, gently hugging Nikki, her cooing at him. Kurai and Shadow soon join the hug as well.

"They're gonna all be inseparable when they're older," Mal said, gently leaning against Yosa. "Indeed," Fiona said, gently laying her head on Iro's shoulder as she watched the guppies. The four adults smiled as they watched their kids interact for a bit before creating a guppy pile.

"Seems they have the right idea," Yosa said as Mal yawned. Iro nodded in agreement as he glances at Fiona, who had dozed off. He looked at Mal and Yosa, going to carefully pick Fiona up. "Hey," he started, "we have a spare room if you'd like to spend the night. Wouldn't have to disturb the kids."

Yosa gently looks at Mal then at Iro. "I think that'd be best. Thank you," he said. "You're welcome," Iro said with a nod, going to head to his and Fiona's room. Mal made sure the guppies were comfortable and would stay warm before he and Yosa turned in for the night themselves.

Kurai/Shadow/Hikari Meet Nicholas

February 7th, 1996 11:43 pm

"Hikari, be careful-!" Malvado called out to his youngest as he brushed passed a soft yellow egg with a tuft of amethyst purple hair. "Ah- sowwies-" Hikari said, moving away from the egg. "Oh, it's okay, sweetie," a female voice said sweetly, "he just playing." What looked to be a white mako sharktroll with amethyst eyes swam in.

Mal smiled as she did. "Fiona!" he said, going over to greet her with a hug. Fiona giggles as she hugged back. "How have you been, Mal?" she asked. "I've been well. Busy but well," he answered. "That's good," she said. Mal smiled, looking over at a teal egg with a tuft of red orange hair as it wiggled.

"Looks like that one might hatch soon, Fio," Yosa said, looking at the egg as well. Fiona nodded, "I hope so. They are almost a week overdue for hatching..." She looked over as a soft yellow techno troll with amethyst purple hair, and jade green eyes gently placed a hand on her shoulder.

"They'll be all right, dear," he said. Fiona gently placed a hand on his with a small smile, "I know they will be. They have your strength after all." He couldn't help but chuckle. Mal smiled a touch tightly, "Iro. It's been a while." Iro looked at him before nodding, "It has, hasn't it... Malvado."

Yosa and Fiona shared a look before Yosa cleared his throat. Mal and Iro looked over, only to be met with a slight glare from the speartooth sharktroll. Both look away, mumbling, "Sorry." Fiona smiles softly before going to say something, but suddenly gets cut off by Shadow yelling, "Cwacking!"

The four adults quickly look over, Shadow now holding the teal egg that had a large crack in it. Fiona and Iro quickly dart over, only to be stopped as the egg suddenly hatches a bit aggressively. Shadow gasped, looking away though looks back, hearing mewing and feeling a small weight.

He'd be met with amethyst purple eyes looking back at him. Him and the guppy stare at each other for a moment before the guppy hugs him with a squeal. Shadow giggles as he hugged back, "dey wike me~!" Fiona, Iro, Mal, and Yosa couldn't help but smile at the sight.

"Well," Mal started, "they're gonna be inseparable." Fiona giggled, "Indeed." Hikari and Kurai moved closer to see the guppy better. Kurai looks back at Fiona and Iro. "What dey name be?" he asked. "Well, it will depend on their gender," Iro said as Fiona went to gently take the guppy.

She carefully checked the guppy before smiling sweetly. "Well, seems like we have our first prince," she said, cooing at the guppy. Iro smiles as he swam over, gently looking at his son. "Hmmm. How about... Nicholas?" he asked. Fiona smiles as Nicholas giggles and cooed.

"Seems like he likes the name," Yosa said with a chuckle. "N.. N-Nic!" Shadow squealed. Fiona giggled, "That's right, Shadow." Kurai gently gasps at Fiona's tail, her gently looking down at him. "Yes, sweetie?" she asked. "May.. I holds Nic, pwease?" he asked a bit shyly.

Fiona smiles sweetly, "Sure, sweetie. Can you sit beside your bubba Shadow?" Kurai giggles and nods before doing as asked. Fiona then goes to carefully pass Nicholas to Kurai. Kurai smiles wide, "hewwo, Nic." Nicholas stared at him for a moment before giggling, cooing up at him.

Kurai gasped happily before giggling. "He wikes you, bubba!" Shadow said with a smile. "Him weally do," Hikari said. Kurai giggles and nods excitedly. Nicholas coos and giggles, snuggling against Kurai a bit. Shadow pouts a bit, suddenly snuggling against Kurai and Nicholas.

"Hm? Seems someone got just a little jealous," Yosa said. "So it seems," Mal said, "But he was the same way when Hikari hatched." Fiona giggled, "I remember that." Iro smiles fondly at the memory. "Makes me wonder how he'll act when the other egg hatches," he then said.

"Well," Yosa started, smiling as the four guppies carefully snuggled, "only time will tell." The other three adults nodded in agreement as they watched the guppies.

Stealing Cookies

Two pairs of eyes peered into the kitchen at a pile of freshly baked cookies. Quiet giggles are heard as the owners of the eyes carefully made their way over to the counter. "How we gon' get up der?" Hikari, a white guppy with white hair and gold highlights, eyes, and techno heart, asked.

The other guppy was a dark gray with black and red ombre hair, red eyes, and red sharktroll heart symbol. "Hm... Aha! We get chair and cwimb up," Shadow said, pointing to one of the chairs at the table. Hikari giggles then nods. Both dart over to a chair and, working together, move it over to the counter.

Once it was in place, Shadow climbed up before turning and helping Hikari up. Both then climbed up onto the counter. Hikari giggled a bit before Shadow quickly shushed him. "Gonsa get caught-! Gots be quiet-!" he whispered. "Sowwies-" Hikari whispered back.

Shadow smiles a bit then looks over at the plate of cookies. Both started to quietly make their way over before looking around and taking a few cookies each. Both quietly giggle before quickly and carefully getting down. Once on the floor, they pushed the chair back to where it was.

They smiled widely at each other before darting to their room. Darting up onto their bed, they giggled as they put the cookies down and split them evenly. They both gasp, hearing their carrier's voice from the kitchen. "Now, whatever has happened to the cookies I made?" Malvado asked.

Both boys quickly looked at each other before quickly trying to hide the cookies they had. They had just gotten the cookies hidden and grabbed a couple of toys when the door to their room opened. Both looked over and saw their sire, Yosa. "Boys? Do you know what happened to the cookies?" he asked.

Both shook their heads, though soon looked at each other with guilty looks. "Um...," Hikari began. "W-We took...," Shadow confessed. Yosa watched as they put their toys aside and then pulled out the missing cookies. "We sowwies, daddy...," they said together, looking down.

Yosa sighed before giving a small smile, going over to them. "It's all right, you two," he started, "But try asking before just taking next time, all right?" Both guppies looked at their sire with sheepish smiles. "Okie, Daddy," Shadow said, Hikari giggling a bit.

Yosa chuckles as well as he goes to scoop the boys up, tickling them. Both squeal before laughing. "Let's go see your da and bubba," Yosa says as he stopped tickling the two so they can calm down. Both smile widely, simultaneously calling, "Bubba~!" and "Dada~!"

Yosa chuckles again as he goes to head towards the kitchen. What looked to be a koi fish troll whose color resembled that of a black opal with black hair, gold highlights, and gold eyes could be seen with a dark gray guppy similar to Shadow but had a white pupil were in the kitchen.

Malvado smiles softly, "They take the cookies?" Yosa nods, "But they're sorry. Aren't you, boys?" Shadow and Hikari nod. "Very sowwy, da," Hikari said. Shadow nods, "Ye!" Mal hummed a bit before looking at the guppy in his arms. "What do you think, Kurai? Do you think your bubbas mean it?" he asked.

Kurai looked at his brothers for a moment before smiling and nodding. "Dey means it, Mama," he said, giggling as his brothers cheered happily. Mal and Yosa chuckled, gently hugging each other close, the guppies hugging each other and cooing up at their parents.

Finding Ramses

Yami was out for a swim, humming softly to himself. He was thinking about all that had happened recently. Not only had he managed to get free from the castle, he had been reunited with his parents and his older sisters. And had met his sisters' mates and all their kids.

He stopped, one of his ear fins twitching. 'Was.. that a guppy?' he thought as he looked around. He was hoping not with how cold it was. A whine was heard, him quickly looking to his right. He frowned worriedly seeing a patch of sea grass rustle a bit.

Going over, he braced himself for whatever he may see. He gasped softly as green eyes looked up at him as he moved the grass a bit. "A.. techno funk guppy..? Oh, you poor dear.." he said as he went to gently pick them up. He took off his cloak, gently wrapping it around them.

"Can.. you talk, little one?" he asked, gently rubbing the guppy's back trying to warm them up. They nod a bit, curling against him. "Do.. you have a name?" Yami asked as he started heading home. "'A-'Am.. s-ses.." the guppy responded after a bit.

"Ramses..?" Yami asked, gently glancing at the guppy. Ramses nodded, curling against him more. Yami gently held him close as a cold breeze blew, starting to hurry home. "Do you have any parents, Ramses?" Yami asked as they neared the house.

Ramses looked down before shaking his head. Yami's eyes widened. A guppy so young with no parents? He gently held Ramses close as he went inside, heading towards the kitchen. "No..? Well... How would you like it if I became your daddy?" Yami asked as he began to make a bottle.

Ramses looked up at him with a coo before nodding, snuggling against him. Yami smiled, gently handing the bottle to Ramses as he headed to his room. "Okay den," he said as he carefully sat down on his bed, " is settled. You my baby now~"

Ramses giggled a bit, smiling a bit widely. Yami smiled back, gently nuzzling him, purring. He carefully pulled a blanket over them as the wind outside howled a bit.

And thus began a new beginning for a new family~

Nichole's Transition

(Just so everyone knows, Nichole is 3 and a half in this)

Nicholas swam up to his parents. "Mommy?" he asked, "what is a pwincess?" Fiona looked over before smiling softly. "A princess is like a prince but is a girl. Like your sissy," she said, picking him up. Nicholas giggles, "And wike you?" Iro chuckles, "That's right, buddy."

Nicholas looks down for a moment, seeming to think. "Something the matter, sweetie?" Fiona asked. Nicholas looks up at his parents. "I dun wanna be a pwince nu more," he said, "I wanna be a pwincess wike mommy and sissy." Fiona and Iro blinked a couple of times in shock, making sure they heard right.

"Are.. you sure about that?" Iro asked. Nicholas nods, "yis." Fiona smiles sweetly. "Well, if that's what you want, then okay, sweetheart," she said, nuzzling Nicholas, causing him to giggle. Iro smiles warmly, "Well, if you want to be a princess, then you should pick a princess name."

Nicholas looks over, slightly tilting his head to the side. "Wha? Bu'... I wike my name," he said. Fiona gently kisses Nicholas's forehead. "What about... Nichole? It's similar to your name but also different," she said. "That's true," Iro said.

Nicholas thinks for a minute then smiles widely. "I wuvs it~!" she said with a giggle. Fiona and Iro gently nuzzle Nichole. "Then we love it too, sweetie~" Fiona said with a purr. Iro gives a warm and loving smile. "And we love you too, my sweet daughter~" he said.

"I wuv you too, daddy. And you too, mommy," Nichole said, nuzzling both of her parents.

Sick Trollex Pt. 1

    Trollex woke up with a groan, reaching up and rubbing his head. It felt like he had swam straight into a wall of coral, or something even harder. He tried to roll over and go back to sleep but moving only seemed to make his headache worse.

    Trollex forced himself to roll over hearing a knock at his door. “My king, may I come in?” Trollex blinked a couple times before it registered that it was Captain Torrent at his door. “O-Of course, Torrent,” Trollex replied, though a bit weakly. Torrent peaked his head in, looking at Trollex worriedly.

    “Are you feeling all right, my king?” Torrent asked, slowly coming into the room. Trollex attempted to sit up but stopped, quickly covering his mouth. Torrent’s eyes went wide then quickly grabbed a trash can and rushed to Trollex’s side. Trollex leaned over the side of his , unable to sit up and took the trash can from Torrent.

    After he was done, Torrent took the trash can then gently made Trollex lay on the bed in a more comfortable way. “Is everything all right, bro?” Torrent looked at the door seeing his brother, Zips. Along with Tank and Tide. Torrent glanced back at Trollex who had fallen back asleep then let out a quiet sigh and shook his head.

    “He just got done throwing up,” he said, worriedly. Tide came in, gently placing a hand on Trollex’s forehead. “He’s burning up,” he said, looking at Torrent. “But he seemed perfectly fine last night at the rave,” Tank said. Zips nodded in agreement.

    “Maybe it’s just a stomach bug,” Tank said. Torrent gave a small nod, hoping that it wouldn’t last long. Tide quickly jumped back as Trollex suddenly sat up, quickly grabbing the trash can that was still beside his bed. Torrent looked at his brother having heard a slight groan from him.

    Torrent then looked at Tank who had turned away then looked at Tide who was staring at Trollex in shock. Torrent slowly looked at Trollex, eyes widening at what he saw.
