It's crazy how for Mike "spending romantic time with my girlfriend" has to involve kissing and making out while for Lucas "I'm spending romantic time with my girlfriend" doesn't have to and is rather more casual such as having a movie night at the mall although they are accompanied by two of their friends.

Then when they're all in the cinema, Lucas and Max are next to each other and Mike and Will are next to each other. So if for Lucas, spending romantic time with his partner is a casual thing like going to watch a movie, then for byler it was also romantic time.

Mike has to be explicit about his "love" towards El.

It was so important to me that Stolas was able to be sad throughout the entire episode. Usually media likes to rush a character's grief/depression/sadness. Like "Stop moping around" or "get over it already." Depression doesn't just go away. It is a persistent feeling of sadness.

His depression was also presented through various emotions/emotional states.

Lethargy

Crying

Anger / frustration

Self-blame

Not wanting company and being emotionally drained and unable to reciprocate

We even see him Smiling / Laughing which is so important because we see that he is still in there behind the sadness and tears. His laugh is not as lively as it once but he is still capable of smiling and finding joy.

His problems weren't fix in the end and his sadness didn't go away even if he has someone who loves him by his side (and even if he loves him too). And I think this is one of the best depictions I have seen of a depressed character in media in a long time.

I really love how they annihilated two of the biggest anti-Stolitz takes in a way that felt very organic to the story. Brandon’s muffled screams were absolutely heart-wrenching. Stolas really IS his heart. I don’t think he’s ever been angrier about ANYTHING than he was when Andrealphus assumed he’d hurt Stolas. Take that!

If Lucifer had been present at the trial, I don't think he would've allowed this to happen. At least, Stolas wouldn't have gotten the same punishment.

I lowkey find it hilarious that people were talking about how Stolas moved on from Blitz...

To be with one of these guys...

Only for Stolas' love for Blitz to be so goddamn strong he was willing to lose his own life to save him.

And he did this fully thinking that his romantic feelings weren't being reciprocated.

Stolas, really and truly meant it...

Even after one whole month of being apart and being away from Blitz, he still couldn't forget about him, couldn't get over him, couldn't come to hate and demonize him.

Despite Blitz breaking his heart in the most cruelest and stupidest way possible...

Despite all the shit Blitz spewed at him in the beginning of Apology Tour...

He could never forget the little clown boy that he spent the day with...

He could never forget the imp assassin that reinvigorated his life...

He could never forget all their stupidly fun times together...

To Stolas, it was Blitz, and it was always going to be Blitz

... and I find that so romantically tragic and endearing.

i think one of the most obnoxious parts about christians online is the way when you describe some christian expressing extreme hatred or bigotry or harming you or your loved ones, their first instinct is to drop in the comments and go "ummm, wow, as a christian, this is NOT okay. we are NOT all like that." even for the self-professed "good ones" their first instinct is always to defend the public image and therefore their own sense of good-personhood. then next week they'll go to a bake sale and happily chitchat with the most evil men that have ever existed
