It was very fun to make! The background turned out better than expected. And I learned a thing or two making this!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to clean up shot 3 and really bring it up to standard, as this was taking too long as is, but nevertheless it was a joy

A piece I did for the AHiT art prompt "racing"! I suppose the "race" here could be interpreted in two ways... one, where Conductor is literally racing against these bandits, or two, that by making this film Conductor is racing toward the finish line of the Annual Bird Movie Awards. Either way, he sure is racing.

This is a companion piece to my Starry Night prompt submission, as they're meant to be from the same film.

Lost in the woods

"I asked someone to hold a VERY unstable Time Piece while I went to go fetch my tools from my room (I wanted to attempt fixing the Time Piece before anything bad happens) until Mustache Girl and Timmy started fighting over who should hold it.

They dropped it; obviously. and now where HERE! In the middle of a random forest! I don't even know if we're in the past, future OR SOME OTHER DIMENSION! Thanks a lot guys >:T" - HK --- --- ---

I was supposed to post this a while ago, But now I am! I've had a Gravity Falls X AHIT crossover thought for a while now, so I decided to draw it! Even more due to the revived fandom recently <3 I originally did the sketch in 2023 but I never really started on it, SO NOW I HAVE >:) Hope you enjoy this little hypothetical AU!

Prompt 18 Yours

The bright sunlight that came through the tiny window in the attic of the Mafia HQ just about illuminated her cutting board, allowing Cooking Cat to safely chop vegetables as even with her decent eye sight in the dark, it was rather challenging. She hummed a little tune as she prepared some steaks that she would later swap with the Mafia's cooking, someone had to make sure that those dimwitted men don't poison themselves or others. In the distance she heard the passenger ship arrive at the port of the town, why people even came to visit despite the high fee was beyond her. She really hated what the Mafia Boss and his men had made of the place.

She could hear a few men enter, hauling some barrels in each men carrying two of those heavy barrels. What she didn't expect was to see the yellow owl from Dead Bird Studio, the Conductor was his name if she recalled correctly. Cooking Cat had met him once before in the lobby of the studio after helping his rival with a movie of his and bringing food. When no one was looking, the black clad bird jumped up on a shelf and then up to the floor boards where she resided.

“Hello there. It's good to see you again” She greeted him with a smile which he didn't quite return, only a faint lift of the edge of his beak was noticeable.

The bird scratched the back of his neck before holding out a baking tray. “Ye forgot this in the studio, lass. I thought I'd return it.”

She eyed the tray with surprise for a moment. So that was there she had left it?! She had been searching for it for days, thinking that someone stole it. “Aw, thank you for returning it. You didn't have to, I know that the fee you had to pay was likely burning a hole in your wallet.”

He made a dismissive hand gesture. “Nae, I'm a regular onboard, I get a price reduction. There's nae a better place ta buy a good scotch...aside from me pa's homeland. That's way too far away though.”

She nodded, before nearly jumping up in surprise. “Ah, there are my manners? Do you want something to drink, or maybe you want one of the steaks I prepared.” She offered him a plate with a tasty looking steak which he couldn't refuse. Cookie was a bit concerned since he ate quite quickly. Either her cooking really was that good or that poor bird was starving.

“Thank ye, lass, it was really good.” He smiled as he complimented her food which caused her to give a warm smile back. She could see red in his face. Was he blushing? “I shouldnae linger, I'm sure that ye got work ta do. I'll...uh...see ye the next time at the studio, I hope.” Without giving her a chance to answer, he jumped back down and went to the counter to buy the bottle of scotch that he came for.

“What a strange bird...”
