Introducing… A Brand New You 2011 (ABNY)
It doesn’t matter how good you are.
What matters is how good you are at showing it. - True or false? Either way, it doesn’t matter, because this statement represents the fundamentals of personal branding and self-marketing. As designers, we are fortunate that our work is hugely creative but all too often, we forget our self-branding strategies should be equally as creative. Whether you’re setting yourself up as a professional freelance designer, getting your portfolio ready to show potential employers, or just want to create an online personal brand, there’s a plethora of online tools to assist you with it all. This elective aims to show you how to select the most appropriate ones to help brand manage your online reputation, promote yourself effectively across the internet using social platforms, and help shape A Brand New You!
