After demolishing almost the entire house and tossing away many different styles of cornice from previous Reno’s, we sent our client shopping for a new one. End of week 4 at our Toowong extension project. So proud of our team, we demolished, laid slab, framed up the wall, roof on, all in that short amount of time. Inside, we have laid new plasterboard and ornamental cornice to the old part of the house. #renovation #extensions

Day 9 at our Toowong extension job. The back of the house is being extended by 3 meters and we have managed to poured footing and slab today. Lots of steel and lots of concrete went in to this little job. It's a wonderful feeling to reach this major milestone in just 9 days. #renovation #brisbanebuilder #custombuilthome

Day 2 at our Toowong Reno job. What started off as a partial demolition has ended up with the whole house stripped. The owners got a quite a shock! They will now get the whole house re-sheeted, new ornamental cornice, new painting. With the whole house open, it's easier to run services, insulate the wall and also do a big clean! Internal courtyard tree selection: a big ask for this tree, must grow to 6m high in fairly rocky ground, ever green, does not shed, preferably nice smelling flower. Most importantly, non aggressive root system. Native Gardenia should be a good choice.
