According to my parents I’ve been a smartass since I could form coherent sentences lol. As far as a change in alias goes tbf you and the blog squad are the only people who know who I am, to the general public I’m simply a smartass grey circle with sunglasses 😎

And for whatever fae rules of summoning I may or may not be bound to, I’m simply disinclined to comment ;)

That’s a fair point. Even to me, you’ll always remain Smartass Anon first and foremost, so maybe the name change isn’t necessary at all

like they never stop talking to/about the other person so you may as well follow them too

like wdym sokka and katara were ten and nine when their mother died and thirteen and twelve when their father left wdym they raised each other wdym they can't treat each other like normal kids because they have this twisted fucked up family grief thing going on where they had to rely on each other to keep going through the loss of their childhoods and I don't think they've ever sat down and talked about what they've been through I think they just quietly exist together in shared trauma and shared grief and a little pool of resentment and anger and love and affection and it makes me so !!!

Just made myself so so sad thinking about Aang's marble trick because from a physics perspective, keeping dense spherical objects afloat on an airstream is not trivial, and he's doing it in a tiny little space without moving his hands. Bending is usually very gestural. So. Everyone in the era of the show is, at best, impressed THAT it is airbending. But Aang's an incredibly young master airbender. He wouldn't be acting like this was the bestest trick ever if it didn't take at least some skill; he's a goofy kid but he's also a prodigy. I bet other airbenders were absolutely blown away (pun fully intended) at the level of precision and force and minimalism of movement on display and now there's no one who understands at all why he expects accolades.

rewatching Avatar is so weird because Sokka is literally the only thing keeping them alive and fed. He constantly is like,

'guys we're out of supplies/ we need to stop/ we're attracting too much attention with the flying bison we should walk' etc.

Like in the ´The Storm' when they're completely out of money and supplies the one to get a job in hopes of making money (he never actually gets paid, the world hates him) is Sokka.

In 'The Waterbending Scroll,' it's Sokka who's concerned about their lack of supplies when Aang sends them in a wave down the river, and is making sure they're careful with their spendibg when in town shopping.

He's also seen to catch fish and gather nuts (I know more often than not he fails to catch things on screen but it's implied he's the one that does most of the hunting and gathering)

It's like- Aang totally would have starved to death or gotten completely off track with often they're completely out of food and money
