i am so deeply charmed by that scene in tkm when the rest of the foxes are out so it's just neil and andrew in the dorm and andrew comes over and knocks on the door and neil lets him in and he says kevin cancelled night practice and neil's first thought it "oh that's perfect i can do my homework!" and then andrew throws a beer tab at his face and neil slowly realizes that ohhhh andrew is in his dorm. and they are the only ones home rn. and they haven't kissed in a week. and then they make eye contact and andrew puts the beer down without drinking it so they can make out. it's so cute. making out with andrew is not something that immediately comes to his mind but the moment he realizes it's a possibility he gets so happy, just. all plans cancelled screw my math test actually this is what i want to be doing :D :D :D

literally every single time kevin and jean talk about neil they sound like a divorced couple arguing about their child...i thought it was just TSC but the first time jean meets neil 😭 even then it's giving 'you had custody! why didn't you raise him right?' 'we should accept him as he is.' 'fuck all that! he needs manners!' and neil is sitting there like why are my parents arguing about my behavior in rapid french no one but i can understand? i literally said please, i tried to be nice.

it makes me giggle thinking about Matt going to get Neil from the Monster's dorm for a girls night (the girls just make Matt go get him because Neil is the least suspecting of Matt to pull him into the girl's shit) but when Matt walks in Neil is sprawled on the couch with Andrew completely blanketed over him and Matt's core processing just fries itself, he can't figure out exactly how he is supposed to process what he is seeing because Andrew Minyard doesn't cuddle and above all else, Andrew Minyard is an astonishingly private person. but Matt bears witness to something quite personal and Neil just grins and waves gently, but Matt gets the 'I'm busy' memo

so we know that most of kevin's and neil's paychecks goes to moriyama and that means that andrew is the only one of them who has like a huge amount of money.

even if kevin is not their third, he will def receive some checks and he's angry about it. like he knows andrew likes to spend money on his boyfriend but kevin is not the one!! maybe they are close friends and they call each other frequently but kevin doesn't need his money.

imagine his rage when he finds out his entire mortgage is paid. andrew just says 'oops' when kevin asks him about it, and he's just at loss, why would andrew do that for him.

he knows he won't get an answer from andrew and then he asks neil, and that man says 'what did you expect, kevin? he needs to annoy you on daily basis, and you're not here, you have to understand. he's been saving money so he can hear you scream'.

there's something about neil and the ease with which he withstands torture but is fully undone by simple pleasure. 2 weeks in the nest that he can barely remember but his refusal to bend to riko and tetsuji is Easy for him. not even the slightest temptation to sign their contract because pain is something so easily endured. neil kisses andrew and it is the worst thing and best thing that ever happens to him. his father and lola and his mother trained him to endure a million different kinds of pain to survive but it's andrew kissing him that neil decides to die for. he has noo defenses against andrew's touch it breaks him down in a way all the pain and torture was never able to do. makes you think huh.

i like that Aaron is perceived as the more well-adjusted twin. and that he murdered someone. not because it’s like oh my god the normal one is actually equally insane look he killed a guy but because killing his twin brother’s rapist is actually still a reflection of how well-adjusted he is. he saw the threat, eliminated the threat. immediately. 10/10 efficiency. it’s oh my god the abuse these kids had to suffer is so incredibly violent and disgusting that when nobody took care of them the normal one took matter into his own hands and that’s the only & legitimate route he could take considering the circumstances and boy did he deliver you know? Aaron’s gut reaction, which ended with a piece of shit dead on the floor, is actually the more sane, human, logical course of action, the normal reaction. not Andrew’s. not Neil’s. Aaron’s.
