Honeybalm: Review
I have been lucky to get my hands on 3 different Honeybalm lip balms, which weren't gifted to me. Neither is this post sponsored. I bought these out of my own pocket and I have been using all three. Of course, I have my eyes set on a Holiday lip balm scent, or what I assume fits the holiday season: caramelized pear.
Unfortunately, it's a limited edition gift... And I'm not spending my money for €39.95 to get a free lip balm. However! If this flavor of lip balm will be available for sale later on, I may get my hands on it. But, let's dive into this review, shall we?

Who or what is Honeybalm?
Honeybalm is an online lip balm shop located in The Netherlands. Their story or goal is very simple: no more dry lips. I hadn't heard of Honeybalm before until the ads popped up on Instagram and Facebook. I thought it was another American brand or small business that would take ages to ship their goods to my home in Belgium. Or, they simply didn't ship to Belgium at all.
I was wrong.
Why did I trust Honeybalm?
Honeybalm, may be one of those smaller brands that you need to see a thousand ads of before you're convinced it's a real online shop and actually makes sales. I haven't seen people in my "inner circle" even wear or carry Honeybalm lip balms with them. Let alone hearing them talk about it. Yet their advertisements are everywhere online.
But, as someone struggling with dry lips and a serious lack of hydration, I needed a lip balm that would stay on my lips for long periods of time and not just stick to my glass while drinking and have it all removed in a second. So I stumbled upon Honeybalm and at first, I didn't really think it was a big brand or had a lot of sales. I don't even remember what I typed into Google, but I found the website, and I was sold.
The website's design is professional, clean and fun. It fits their logo to a T. When I was looking at their website, I think there was a sale going on because I managed to get 3 lip balms and paid €23.94 for a bundle of 3 lip balms. With the current sale, one lip balm is €14.99.
The Review.
Since I got a bundle of 3 during a sale, I chose the following lip balms: strawberry, vanilla and coconut. Each lip balm comes with a cute applicator to apply the lip balm on your lips.
My favorite out of the 3, is probably the strawberry one. It smells like strawberries and the container or little pot even has those strawberry seeds on it.

What I think is a bit clumsy at times, is the applicator. While it's a much better option than using your finger or manicured nail to scoop up the product, I have also noticed, how clumsy it feels to me when I try to apply the lip balm.
The applicator, at times feels too small for clumsy hands, and it has to click back into place in the lid. Which may prove to be difficult when travelling by bus or sitting in a moving car. I can already imagine myself losing the applicator and having to put the lip balm back in my purse.
That's why I keep the 3 lip balms on my desk. So I can play video games, blog and catch up on my TV shows, all while having hydrated lips! I often grab lip balms or tinted lip balms instead of lip stains or lipsticks to complete my daily looks. So, of course, I have 7 lip balms on my desk. Constantly switching between every single one of them.
But, if you ask me? I would love to switch the other 4 lip balms out for 4 lip balms by Honeybalm.
The texture is a bit "greasy". If you apply it on the lips, it'll be on your lips all day. Depending on how much you apply, the "greasier" your lips feel. But! It does help with hydrating your dry lips.
You can use the lip balms by Honeybalm either as your daily savior during colder winter months or even as a lip sleeping mask. I once tried it as a sleeping mask, and I woke up with the softest lips!
Personal Experience.
I love these lip balms. They have enough product in the little pots so you can keep using these lip balms for months! I have bought mine back in May 2024, and I'm still nowhere near halfway! My favorite scent or flavor is strawberry, followed by coconut and last but not least... vanilla!
I put vanilla in third place, because even when I shower these days, I use Tahiti coconut shower gel! I swear I'm not obsessed!
But, for us AuDHD girlies out there, suffering from dry lips? This may be the lip balm for you.
They have various flavors, including: honey, chocolate, candy cane, mint, watermelon. Yes, with Christmas season around the corner, candy cane is one of their new flavors! During October and fall season, they had pumpkin spice!
Sadly, pumpkin spice is sold out... I would love to have it on my lips next fall and finally see what all that pumpkin spice buzz it all about!
But... For now? I'm loving Honeybalm! I hope they release a Valentine's Day flavor too or a Summer flavor! My idea for a Valentine's Day flavor? Rose. With a soft red tint!

Hello 🤍
Welcome to my blog! I'm Demi. I'm 28 years old and have always wanted to create a blog like this. Yes, I have many side blogs on Tumblr. But this will be a new project that I'll be starting and continuing in 2025.
As I grew up I have never gotten any interest in fashion or skincare as it was never the focus of anyone's attention in my close circle of friends and/or family. Until I grew much older, that is. I have watched a Belgian TV show called 'Royalty' that often shared the lives of the many royal houses and of course their fashion. But it never occurred to me that I would be this interested in fashion, so close to 30.
I have just begun my skincare journey, and now I'm finally developing my own sense of style. I have always worn clothes that were either several years out of fashion or not that feminine. I never knew you could just say "no," and you wouldn't get hand-me-downs. I was too shy.
That all changed. No longer am I wearing my male cousin's clothes he no longer fit in. No longer am I wearing hand-me-downs from mom and other women in my life. I'm developing my own sense of style. I buy what I like. ... And maybe what will survive in the washer.
I'm not putting my current clothes in the dryer. I'm hanging them up on the clothing line to dry.
With this blog and the Wix blog, I want to open up the fashion world and share my lifestyle with other women on the Autism Spectrum. I want to let them know they're not alone in wanting to be stylish and be cosy all at the same time. I hope I can achieve this goal by sharing my experiences with skincare products, lifestyle changes, and more. I also share my personal experiences while using them, how my lifestyle changes affect me emotionally and physically, and also how my changes affect the part of me on the Autism Spectrum.
