so... um... hi.

the last time i was active on the tumblrs was during a break-up. it felt like driving a pick into the center of a frozen lake and watching the cracks thunder into a limitless expanse. after all this time, i still feel the fragility when i take the wrong step.

anyway.

i’m home for the holidays remembering how things were this time last year. i was back from korea living at home until i found a job. that search took months and months and i went through the second hardest year of my entire life.

and now i’m back. almost everything i wanted last year has somehow found its way to me. i feel so thankful in this moment. a certain sadness still lurks and creeps over me but i am here and i’m finding peace.

just got back from a 19-day, 7-city, 5-country tour around southeast asia with one of my closest friends. i feel so unbelievably lucky. i've been living in korea for the past 2 years. the second year was pretty rough, but there was no way i could have done this trip if i didn't already live in asia. that alone made everything feel worth it. definitely a once in a life time experience. 2014 is off to an awesome start. i'm happy.
