today's post is i drew a proper ref for Micky, including her DICE uniform

her uniform was a real challenge cause the initial goal was to just add things to her canon uniform to make it better match up with my redesign of Kokichi's, but because she's sitting on the floor with her knees to her chest in the only official art we have of her, i can't get a good look at her uniform- meaning i had to completely wing it. the only thing i could glean from her official art (aside from the mask ofc) is that her uniform is a jumpsuit, so i was able to at least use that

i think i did a good job for what i had to work with tho; the gold clasps, black undershirt, and slits in the pant legs are all pulled over from Kokichi's redesign- i was gonna add some straps to her arms and legs but i couldn't get them to not look weird. i also decided to just let the DICE members wear their own shoes with their uniforms, mostly because i don't think my version of them would be able to find matching shoes like that, Iwa is a seamster not a cobbler.

anywho yeah- Micky design go brrr. it took me three hours to draw this shit and a month procrastinating on it prior- as much as i want to i don't think i'm gonna be able to do this with everyone in DICE, maybe i'll get around to Kaji tho

Oh man, I have been long past my homestuck phase but I've been on a Karezi art dive again and I want to say that I'm very ecstatic to see your blog alive with your old art 😭 Idk what it is but every few years I get a calling back to my first and true OTP by finding a scarce piece of art and just dgsfsfsfsgsgs
