Raido Headcanons

I would say he likes tea over alcohol: He prefers a quiet evening with hot green tea rather than drinking heavily like some of his peers (im watching you Kurenai)Though he’ll join others at a bar occasionally, he doesn’t overindulge.

Quiet places: Appreciates peace and quiet, like secluded training grounds or forests. He enjoys morning walks when the village is still asleep or at night to watch the stars.

Likes reading, especially historical novels or war strategy manuals. He has a secret love for mystery thrillers.

Sparring: Enjoys one on one sparring matches, sure, part of it as training, but he does enjoy them for himself.

He has a soft spot for stray cats and sometimes leaves food out for them but pretends he didn’t, and if he sees one wounded he would take them to the vet even if he had paperwork to turn in.

He likes the festivals and doesn't look like it, but he likes the calm atmosphere [at least until someone grabs the sake] of Konoha’s festivals and enjoys watching fireworks.

Prefers traditional Japanese meals like miso soup, grilled fish, and rice. Not big on sweets.

He doesn't like loud, chaotic people, he of course has grown to appreciates the kids like Naruto or Kiba and his own peers like Anko but he will not like someone inmediately of they are loud, specially if they are loud and wrong or don't rise their voice for injust things, still he has a 1-2 hour span to be around loudness, after that he melts, leaves and goes mad.

He definitely doesn't like being underestimated5’s a quiet, low-key person, so people sometimes overlook his skills, which irritates him when it matters, like come on people, he is a Tokubetsu Jōnin.

Honestly? He id not big on politics. Detests the bureaucratic side of shinobi life and prefers missions over paperwork, he prefers not to get into fights over politics, not because he doesn't care or doesn't have opinions but getting into fights about that it's usually just tiring, maddening and pointless.

And about that he values efficiency and dislikes people who fight for pride instead of necessity (man he respects the Inuzukas so much but he is TIRED of hearing them fight all the time)

He spends more time in Genmas place than his, or the other way around during a few stressful seasons of many missions, his apartment has less stairs.

He likes shogi, occasionally, not as skilled as Shikamaru but enjoys the strategic aspect, and yes, once he played against Shikamaru and now he knows that kid could take over the village easily if it wasn't that much of a drag...also as expected he lost, 7 times in a row, he had fun tho.

He possibly grows a small herb garden on his apartment balcony, medicinal herbs for mission kits.

Keeps his kunai and tanto meticulously sharpened and polished. Finds the routine soothing. He even offers some of his friends to sharpen their kunai if he needs to relax more.

Calligraphy, he practices it as a form of meditation and focus.

Starts his mornings with quiet meditation to keep his mind sharp and steady.

Was probably close with Hayate Gekkō and took his death hard but internalized the grief.

He acts as the “dad friend” of his circle, quietly looking after his teammates without making a big deal of it.

Doesn’t date often, but when he does, he is very thoughtful and respectful.

It's probably allergic to something minor like pollen but refuses to acknowledge it, and it's always miserable during allergies season.

Has a dry, understated sense of humor that only close friends catch.

He is not that into insects, but he has a lot of friendly companionship with Aburames, they are calm, grounded and honestly? They give good advice

He enjoys when he gets a job at the inteligence division, its calm, smells like wood and paper, and the paperwork tends to be efficient. Also, Shikaku does not yell to people, so nice work environment.

Of course, it's okay. Im glad to write always. Sorry for the delay, haha, but i promise it was a one-time thing.

Raido as a Boyfriend?, let's go.

Now, Raido may not be flashy or overly romantic like Guy sensei, but that doesn't mean he is not devoted and completely in love.

And in a relationship, he would definitely be a ride or die partner, this man? Loyal, he doesn't fall easily, but once he does, he is completely in.

He is definitely not controlling, trusts you completely, but he is protective. If you are in danger or ask for his help, he will not doubt on going to you.

He is definitely practical, too. He observes and picks up your habits without making a fuss. He knows when you are exhausted and your favorite tea will be waiting along him, either to talk or just be there, grounding. which leads to:

Physical touch

He is not clingy or overly physical, but his hand will always find you, fingers interwined, his hand on your shoulder reassuring, a hand on your leg when sitting together, on your lower back or his thumb brushing your knuckles, he wouldn't complain if this is your main love language, he would feel odd at first but he wouldn't push you away, he does prefer privacy so he tends to be more guarded in public but never cold.

Forehead kisses are definitely his thing.

Quality time

This is one of the few things that applies to every single shinobi, in a world of missions, of uncertainty that you might not come home, that there are months without returning home, of missions nonstop, so every moment with loved ones, friends, teachers it's precious. It doesn't matter if its reading together, sleeping, going to dinner or just eating takeout from that greasy place near the divisions building while you talk about your day, he will appreciate every moment with you as if it was the last.

But then, pet names he would use?, for starters, he would blush like hell the first time he used one on you, so he tends to use your name or abreviations of it but he does use sweetheart and love (specially when he is worried) and might use your highness when you are being difficult but the little smirk on his face says otherwise.

When you get injured or sick he definitely fusses more than he should, brings soup [he tried to make one and well...it was not edible, he is working on his cooking skills], fluffs your pillows, buys the medicine you need and prepares it for you, checks your temperature 3 times and you have to swat the thermometer away.

And now, let's talk about dates with him.

Definitely late night walks around the training grounds or forest that usually end up with you two on the hill or a rooftop watching the stars.

Quiet dinners, usually home cooked [he does not know how to do elaborate stuff yet, he does know how to do mission food and cut things, so he gets the ingredients, cuts them and can prepare rice or simple things but you do the seasoning definitely]

If you are a ninja too, sparring sessions that always end up with you too flirting or kissing.

Raido, it's not jealous. As i said before, he trusts you, but he doesn't trust the other people, so he does stiffens when someone it's flirting with you and watches every move, if he notices you are getting uncomfortable or the other person it's stepping onto personal boundaries he will interfere, nothing like punching them but he will wrap an arm around your waist or shoulders and kiss your temple to take you away.

Raido might be a respected shinobi, a tokubetsu jounin that can take a poisoned kunai and still fight... but he is not inmune to love, so he does have a soft side that doesn't show to anyone but you.

He keeps photos of you and you with him. He does get flustered and will deny unless caught even if it isn't nothing bad, but in a hidden compartment on his tactical vest, there is a small photo of you that he carries during missions.

He writes little notes when he has to go on a mission, practical things, like 'drink water' but always with a 'don't forget i love you' at the bottom.

He is not the type to buy a whole bouquet of flowers [unless a Yamanaka bullies him into it, nothing personal, they do that to every shinobi with a romantic interest or partner]. But he does remember your favorite flower, and once in a while, he will return from a mission with that flower for you.

“The scar you called ugly, they called beautiful.”

Raido notices them at a joint mission briefing, someone calm, composed, with eyes that observe everything but mouth rarely used.

They're both tokubetsu jonin, and their heights are nearly identical. He finds himself glancing sideways at them more often than usual. He doesn't know why. He just finds them interesting.

They speak little, but when they do, it’s purposeful. The kind of voice that draws him in, he doesn't completely engage tho, another comrade, always good but nothing new

At least, that's what he thought.

It’s after a mission gone a little messy. Blood, dirt, and exhaustion cling to them both. They arrive to a small river to rest, the enemy is long gone, and they have to rest before moving onto the next target. He lays against a tree, the sun filtering through the leaves and brushing softly against his face.

They glance at his face, not with discomfort, not with pity but curiosity and admiration, eyes setting directly on his scar.

“It suits you,” they murmur, voice soft as a breeze. “Looks strong. Like you survived something worth telling.”

Raido is floored.

He stares. No one's ever said that before. Not like that.

He fumbles internally. Externally? Stoic and deadpan as ever.

But later, Kotetsu and Genma tease him when he touches his scar more often, like he's replaying the compliment.

He starts looking for them. Sitting next to them in meetings. Asking them to partner on missions.

Not that he’ll admit it. Yet.

But over time, shared drinks, kunais, and broken bones, Raido learns they're sweet, not exactly bubbly, but thoughtful. They pack extra tea in their bag for him. They stitch a tear in his flak jacket without asking, and without noticing he starts smiling more. Real smiles, not the tired half-smirks.

And he starts doing things a year ago he would have scoffed.

He walks them home after missions, even if it’s out of the way.

He starts calling them by a nickname no one else uses.

They patch a wound on his arm once, murmuring softly, 'You’re always protecting others… who protects you?'

That night he can’t sleep. He thinks maybe... maybe they’re his person...also he swears he is never telling Izumo or Kotetsu because they would be completely insufferable

But then he realizes it's true, and real and it happens simply. Under the stars, on a rooftop after a long mission.

'I never liked this scar much,' he says quietly.

But they told him otherwise, every scar has a story, every scar means resilience, not shame, never shame,it means he came back.

And he turns, steps closer. 'So… would it be okay if I kept coming back to you?'

Their answer is a gentle nod, and a hand slipping into his.

And once they are his S/O ?

Deeply protective but quiet about it.

Brings them little things, dango, tea, a new kunai bag he noticed they needed because the other one exploted [surprisingly common situation]

He lets down his walls slowly, but fully. They see every scar, physical and emotional.

He doesn’t need a lot of words. Just presence. Just closeness.

His scar becomes a soft place for them to kiss goodnight.

And he is finally truly happy, and maybe Kotetsu and Izumo knowing it's not so bad...still that doesn't mean he is not gonna keep it low key, those two are still annoying.

My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.

The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.

I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.

Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.

Aside from very obvious ones (freckles) and stuff I talk about all the time (freckles), I don't know, uh???

Probably from some countryside and not from Konoha originally, the thought of it entertains me...

Both parents and siblings are alive and well, not into shinobi business. He visits them from time to time.

So to say, he's probably an uncle a few times already.

Knows only basic bare minimum stuff when it comes to cooking, but bakes delicious pumpkin pies.

Him being local Casanova is 50/50 a myth; just because he's good at talking and is charming doesn't mean he sleeps with everyone. When somebody told him that he's considered a sex symbol of the village, he laughed for like, a good second.

Early riser, early goes to bed, maintains a rather good sleep schedule and healthy lifestyle as much as he can (compared to some others…), but has troubles with sitting in the office all day long, it bores him out.

He's also considered a taijutsu specialist due to the fact that his sensei was Choza, which is sometimes forgotten bc Gai is THE taijutsu specialist here.

An iryonin with a basic training, just enough to ensure his team's survivability (sometimes complains about his teammates being ungrateful shits).
