that. was. so. good. THAT WAS SO GOOD!!! i love midnight at first i was kind of apprehensive about another episode about the midnight entity because i feel of course things are more frightening the less you know them but this episode did a really stellar job not giving any real leeway in that regard? also. the scoring? PHENOMENAL!!! ncuti was perfect here too he was VERY doctorish!! i also LOVE that the whispering of the doctors name sounded like the vocalization on the doctors theme and missys theme more additions to my the doctors name is a song folder hehehe :3 so good!! i really was sat watching this one with giant eyes the whole time this is hands down my favorite 15 episode so far and the preview for next week looks VERY FUN. Very Fun. i am hopeful.

there are so many ways to show that the Doctor being kind is a choice but their love of the Master is one of my favorites. there has to be a deep-seated inner darkness in them to love someone so cruel, even if it's a darkness they don't give in to. they might want the Master to be kinder but it doesn't stop them from loving the Master when they're cruel. idk.
