SOUKOKU SHOPPING HEADCANONS <3

-When Dazai and Chuuya go shopping, Dazai will always take any chance to flirt with people as to piss off Chuuya.

-Dazai hides behind mannequins just to annoy Chuuya. One time Chuuya actually thought Dazai was lost and started to panic so he asked the store assistant to announce over the loudspeaker that "The man named Osamu Dazai should report immediately to the cash register because his boyfriend is looking for him." At this point Chuuya was at the verge of tears, thinking Dazai might have abandonded him again, when Dazai casually walks up to the cash register and smiles happily. Chuuya runs to him and hugs him tightly, sobbing into his chest. <3333

-Chuuya leaves Dazai in the toy isle where he wanders around and fights children for the toy knives while Chuuya shops for wine and groceries.

-They have full blown arguments over ice cream flavours. People give them the biggest glares and in the end Dazai eventually gives up and just lets Chuuya choose. Chuuya always chooses pistachio because Dazai is allergic to it. But then he buys a second box of strawberry ice cream for Dazai.

-Dazai gets bored easily while they're out shopping so when they finish, Chuuya and Dazai always have pizza. Their favourite pizza has olives though, and Chuuya refuses to eat a different one. (THE OLIVE THEORY!!!!!!) Chuuya loves olives and Dazai doesn't so he eats them instead. <333

-Chuuya always buys a lot of wine and ice for the evenings so when they sit in the car in the supermarkets parking lot, Chuuya takes a quick drink of wine from the bottle and gives Dazai an ice cube to bite.

-Chuuya is lactose intolerant so he buys oat milk while Dazai likes strawberry milk. Once Dazai got in a fight with a small kid over the last bottle of strawberry milk and Chuuya had to apologise to the kids mother.

SOUKOKU BIRTHDAY HEADCANONS <33

(May include a little angst and probably a lot of fluff)

-When its Dazais birthday, Chuuya will prepare four months early. He never really got to experience birthday celebrations and knows that Dazai didn't either. So when its Dazais birthday, Chuuya tries to heal Dazais inner child a little by making it an amazing day for him like taking Dazai to the aquarium or circus etc.

-Dazai knows that Chuuya isn't as childish as him so instead he takes Chuuya to either a record player store, a bookstore, some authentic cafe or to the hat store.

-Chuuya practically interrogates Dazai on what presents he wants for his birthday at least two months early. Dazai never knows what he wants until the week before his birthday and it annoys Chuuya every time because he likes to be organised and prepared.

-Instead of asking Chuuya what he wants for his birthday, Dazai will simply take Chuuya shopping two weeks before his birthday and when Chuuya finds something that he really likes, Dazai will buy it. Right in front of him. Chuuya gets really mad at Dazai when he does it but is also kind of upset because he really wanted whatever it was. Then its Chuuyas birthday and when he opens the gifts, its all the stuff that he thought Dazai had bought for himself.

-For cake, Chuuya buys a cupcake with a dog decoration on it and pretends that's all he's got. He always gives it to Dazai in the morning and then surprises him with a huge home made cake in the evening which they share together. Dazai falls for it every time and Chuuya will never admit it, but he thinks it's adorable how Dazai is so naive.

-Chuuya isn't a fan of really sweet things so Dazai always buys him a plain vanilla cake and then they decorate it together with fruit and icing.

-Dazai makes fun of Chuuyas hat collection on a daily basis but he still buys Chuuya a new hat every birthday. Or its a new record but he always buys wine regardless.

-Chuuya gets Dazai little hair clips because he knows Dazai secretly loves to decorate his hair. They have matching butterfly clips. Chuuyas butterfly clip is grey and beige. Dazais is orange and red.

-When they go out for a birthday dinner, Dazai wears a red camilla in his jacket pocket.

-Chuuya wears a white camilla pinned to his shirt.

SOUKOKU SLEEPOVER HEADCANON <3

-Dazai invites Chuuya over for a sleepover and Chuuya only agrees because Dazai has wine.

-Drunk make out sessions on the sofa are heaven for them.

-When Chuuya shows Dazai his middle finger, Dazai bites Chuuyas finger.

-They have matching panda onesies. Chuuya once bought Dazai and him dog onesies as a joke but Dazai got upset and wanted to cry. Chuuya saw tears in Dazai's eyes and felt really bad so he went to replace them with cat ones. But the stores were all closed and Dazai was close to a meltdown (it was a long day at the office). They finally reached a store and it only had panda onesies so Chuuya just bought them.

-They watch shitty romcoms that Chuuya hates and they throw popcorn at the TV and shit talk all the characters.

-They own a record player. It's canon. So on sleepovers they listen to their records and Chuuya lays his head on Dazais lap while he brushes Chuuyas hair.

-Chuuya and Dazai always have a pillow fight, sometimes unintentionally, and Dazai lets Chuuya go all out on him, letting Chuuya win every time because he's so happy thinking hes stronger than Dazai. Chuuya can be scary in a pillow fight though, Dazai has experience.

-Chuuya likes to read with his head in Dazais lap while Dazai braids his hair and puts bows in it.

-They had their first kiss at a sleepover, playing smash or pass with people in the port mafia and ada. The conversation:

Dazai: Okay, smash or pass...hmmm...oh! Smash or pass me?

Chuuya: You? Ew pass obviously. Your such a rat no ew don't even start.

Dazai: Aww, for a second I thought you were going to say smash.

Chuuya: ...

Dazai: ...

Chuuya: Smash, smash, smash rail me raw right now please until I pass out.

(Dazai leans over and cups Chuuyas face in his hands before kissing him REALLY gently. Chuuya immediately blushes as he feels Dazais lips brush against his but he doesn't pull away. Instead he kisses Dazai back and Dazai moves his hands to Chuuyas waist while Chuuya places his hands behind Dazai's neck.)

SICK CHUUYA<3333

-Unlike Dazai who moans for everything when he's sick, Chuuya is miserable and quieter than usual.

-Dazai does not care if he gets Chuuya's illness, he always cuddles Chuuya's in bed, Chuuya being little spoon ofc. Chuuya tries to tell Dazai that he'll get sick, but its pointless because Dazai cuddles him in his arms anyway. he catches Chuuya's illnesses most of the time but that means they get stay off work together and just sleep and cuddle all day. <3

-Dazai cooks for Chuuya (He doesn't really he just heats up ready made food that Chuuya made a few days ago. But Chuuya still appreciates it because its a huge effort coming from Dazai in the kitchen.)

-If chuuya feels very miserable when he's sick, dazai takers the stuffed teddies and makes cute little puppet shows to cheer Chuuya up. It's so silly that Chuuya always feels better and even gives Dazai a grateful kiss.

-Once when Chuuya was sick, Dazai had a huge fight with Fukuzawa to let Chuuya stay home when he was sick.

-Dazai overexaggerates when he's sick but Chuuya could be dying and wouldn't act like it was a big deal. Dazai pretends he's dying when he has a cold.

-Kisses. Dazai showers Chuuya in kisses when he's sick. And Chuuya adores it tbh. Like he waits for Dazai to come and kiss his navel and forhead. He doesn't say anything but you can see it in his eyes, he's practically begging Dazai to give him little kisses all over his face.

SICK DAZAI <33333

-When Dazai is sick, he complains so much more than usual, he whines and moans for Chuuya. He's v unbearable when sick.

-Chuuya will normally tell Dazai that he will kill him in the most horrible painful way possible, but if Dazai coughs or sneezes, Chuuya runs straight to him with a blanket, tea, medicine and a thermometer.

-Dazai once tried to follow Chuuya to work because he got so lonely. He got lost and some old lady phoned Chuuya at work because she found Dazai in his slippers and pj's crying in a bus shelter.

-Dazai refuses to eat when he's sick so Chuuya will take a day off sometimes and feed Dazai home-made chicken noodle soup.

-Chuuya refuses to sleep in the same bed as a sick Dazai so when he's about to go sleep on the sofa, Dazai grabs his sleeve and looks at him with puppy-dog eyes, pleading him to stay in his quiet innocent, whiny sick voice. Chuuya always gives in but tries not to let Dazai touch him, failing miserably because he can't resist Dazai's cuddles when he's so weak and quiet.

-Dazai likes being taken care of by Chuuya but he feels guilty about "taking advantage of him" even though Chuuya tells him not to.

-Stuffed animals are a must have in the Soukoku household when one of them is sick. Chuuya always warms them up for Dazai on the radiator.

-When Dazai is sick, he is whiny and tired.

SOUKOKU MOVIE DATE FLUFF<3333

-Dazai and Chuuya have dates ofc. When there's a date there's a chance to annoy Chuuya.

-When Dazai gets to pick the movie for their movie date, he tricks Chuuya into thinking its a French romance when its actually a tragedy and Chuuya always cries :(((((

-Dazai's most annoying habit is poking Chuuya in the side with his toe and when Chuuya glares at him he pretends that he's innocent. He does it again and then finally stretches out his legs and puts them on Chuuya's side of the sofa. Chuuya always says "Goddamn you Dazai and your goddamned long ass legs!"

-They always have wine. No excuse the season or time.

-Sometimes Chuuya likes to make Dazai flustered by putting his head in Dazai's lap and letting him play with his hair.

-If Chuuya has a bad day, he'll just sulk on their movie date. Dazai will try to tease him but when he sees that Chuuya is actually upset he'll quietly cover Chuuya with a blanket and make him a glass of wine. Then he sits in silence until Chuuya eventually gives in and crawls over to Dazai and cuuddles him, nuzzling into his neck, trying to get as close as he can.

-If they order food, Dazai will flirt with the delivery driver as a joke just to tease Chuuya. When Chuuya sees, he grabs Dazai angrily by the collar and pulls him down, kissing him passionately in front of the delivery driver. Dazai always smiles, knowing he got Chuuya's attention.

-When Chuuya goes to the bathroom, Dazai will try to follow him and forget to pause the movie. So when Chuuya finally comes downstairs and sees that the movie was playing he smacks Dazai.
