Victor Kudo embroidered the crest onto Simon Blackquill’s suit.

Victor Kudo states that back in Japan he embroidered family crests onto kimonos. Despite the low demand for his work he is actually a fairly well known and revered embroiderer among the city’s Japanese population. Having heard of Mr. Kudo’s amazing work Simon Blackquill made sure to hire the man to embroider the Blackquill family crest onto his custom-made jacket.

Original Mia-Miles-Maya headcanon.

A continuation of the Mia-Miles-Maya saga, if DL-6 or even if Misty had never been forced to become Master of Kurain, Maya Fey would have chosen to become a lawyer just like Miles and Mia and trained in the family law firm run by their father, Gregory: Edgeworth and Co. Law Offices. Phoenix would also later join the offices as well, adding a Co. to the title, allowing Maya to still become his investigation partner.

The men of the Fey family do not share the powers exhibited by the women. Instead, they are more receptive. They can feel the supernatural and/or tell a channelled spirit from a regular person. If he is powerful enough, he will also be able to use a magatama to his advantage. (Few women can do this.)

Although Miles and Phoenix are not members of the Fey clan, they can use the magatama because they have ties with its members.

Mia, Miles and Maya sibling headcanon

Had Gregory Edgeworth not been killed, he would have mentored Miles Edgeworth. Phoenix Wright, Mia Fey, and Diego Armando, and the four would have enjoyed a sibling-like relationship. If the headcanon about Mia and Miles being actual siblings holds any truth, the two would have found out about it soon or later from Gregory himself.

Miles Edgeworth was Phoenix's biggest support system after his disbarment. Miles knows what it feels like to unknowingly submit forged evidence- the anger, guilt, regret. And so he was able to prevent Phoenix from going down that same path he took after the events of the Skye trial.
