Maybe 45 with tiny!karl and giant!sapnap and or quackity??
Hey guys! Sorry that I've been MIA for so long! Had some mental health struggles and have been super busy with classes and working so I can pay bills haha!
Anyway! I hope you enjoy it! I was thinking about working on a ton of different prompts and releasing them all at once, but I feel like it's already been too long...
Prompts are CLOSED but from here!
Warnings for: near-drowning experience, language, fear, injuries, mentions of blood (as usual, let me know if I missed anything!!)
Word Count ~1500
--------Caught in the Rain--------
Karl had always made it a point to at least find shelter, shabby as it may be, during a storm. Storms were dangerous when you were on your own, after all. He really wished that he had followed that advice, but instead here he was, trying desperately to stay alive.
The storm had hit unexpectedly, so he wasn’t entirely to blame, but he really wished that he had prepared for this a bit better. He usually moved from place to place, never taking up residence for more than a couple of months. He told himself that it was safer that way. After all, it lessened the chance of a human finding him if he wasn’t there long enough to arouse suspicion. But he’d chosen a bad time to relocate, apparently, because now he was struggling against the current of roadside water, traveling toward a gutter.
Icy fear gripped him as the water sloshed and hit him square in the face, going up his nose and in his mouth. Sputtering and coughing, trying desperately to take in a deep enough breath before it happened again, Karl kicked his legs. It wasn’t much use. Even where his little legs managed to reach the bottom, the current was too strong for him to stay stationary.
He was at the mercy of what most humans wouldn’t even consider being anything more than a minor annoyance.
Karl was knocked back out of his thoughts as a rather large drop of rain fell and hit him on the head with enough force to push him under the water for a moment. His neck hurt as he surfaced again, coughing and scrabbling for purchase against the concrete nearby. A hiss of pain escaped him as the wall dug into the flesh of his palm, slicing it open and drawing blood. It was dark outside, so he couldn’t see much, but he managed to see an outline in the distance, a silhouette.
Of a human walking down the sidewalk adjacent to his current predicament.
No, no, no, no, no, Karl kicked desperately, hoping he could at least hide from the human. His body was exhausted, running mostly on adrenaline and fear. But it was enough to at least grip onto the top of the grainy pavement, arms straining as they managed to find purchase on the rough material. His hand stung, and he grimaced, trying to get a look at it in the darkness. A distant flash of lightning illuminated the cut, blood running and blending with the water that still occupied his hand. It also illuminated the human, who was looking straight at him.
Karl’s eyes widened as he locked eyes with a human with fluffy hair pushed back in a beanie. Dread pooled in his stomach as he quickly fought against the petrification that the human induced. If he stayed here, the human would get him for sure. But if he let go…he shook his head slightly to clear the thought, hopelessly stuck as the human drew closer with an awed gaze. Karl didn’t have to end up making a decision, it turned out, because as the human crouched near him, a particularly powerful gust of wind managed to make him lose his grip. A sharp gasp was ripped from him as the current took him again, forcing him under and making his body spin in the water. His head slammed against something in the water and his vision went dark.
He came to just a moment later, shivering and noticing a distinct lack of water surrounding him. A sinking feeling registered as he felt whatever he was on shift and lift him higher. A whimper left his mouth as he struggled to move, his body not quite cooperating in his dazed state.
“Shit! Holy shit, are you okay?” The booming voice made Karl cringe and he tried futilely to protect his head, his body complaining from the movement. “Okay, shit, uh... Sap will know what to do. He’s better at this kind of thing. You know, he rescued a duck once,” the human was walking now, seeming to ramble more than really address Karl, “but I guess that doesn’t really matter, huh? Sorry, this is really stressful, and... Hey! Stay awake for me for a bit, okay? I think you hit your head pretty hard there.” Karl gasped as something large brushed over his hair, bringing his attention to the aching feeling there. He weakly tried to push at the offending digit, but it moved away before he managed to get there. His heart pounded. What did the human want with him? Why was he taking him anywhere, to begin with?
God, he felt so tired. Shouldn’t he sleep? But, hadn’t the human said not to? Why? A few minutes won’t hurt, he thought as his eyes slipped shut. He jolted a moment later at a slam and a sudden change in temperature. It was warmer here, in the human’s house. Maybe Karl should have been screaming at the thought, but he couldn’t bring it upon himself to care quite that much.
Frantic words were exchanged above him before he was transferred into another human’s hands with more gentleness than Karl could have ever imagined possible. They were noticeably warmer, and Karl wanted so badly to just get some rest. He shied away from the human as light was shined into his eyes, cringing with a whine. But they must have decided something because the light was moved away with an air of relief.
His eyes began to slip closed, but he jolted again at the reminder that he was with humans. He sat up slowly, warily watching the humans. Another shiver wracked him, and perhaps it was his mind playing tricks on him, but the hands seemed to warm more, soothing Karl and taking the chill from his bones. The one holding him seemed to notice how much effort it was taking to stay conscious, because his gaze softened, and a small smile appeared on his face.
“We’re not going to hurt you. You’re okay.” A noise of garbled, scared protest left Karl’s lips as he was gently pushed into a position to lay down. The human shushed him, not unkindly, the warmth of the hands relaxing and welcoming, beckoning him toward unconsciousness. “We just need to take care of your injuries there, okay?”
Karl looked up at the concerned face above him with tired eyes, the exhaustion from being awake for so long coupled with the exertion from nearly drowning making him shudder weakly. He gave a slight nod in response, watching the human’s response carefully. Not much changed, but there was a flickering of awe and understanding there as the human slowly curled a thumb over his middle. Karl winced, shoulders tense. But nothing happened. The human just began to move slowly toward the counter, using his free hand to grab something before placing it on the counter, Karl soon following.
The hand was placed on the towel, tilting slightly to deposit Karl on the plush surface. The tiny looked up, shrinking back slightly at how the human now loomed over him. He was reminded once again about how powerless he was. He didn’t have the energy to run, and the human seemed to be trying to help him, at least. He just had to hope that he’d be okay and that this wouldn’t kill him.
He felt a stinging pain in his palm, pulling away quickly and jolting out of his inner turmoil with a hiss. Karl’s gaze shot up to the human’s with wide, scared eyes, then to a white stick with soaked cotton on the end. A Q-Tip, his mind supplied, as if that mattered. His gaze shot back to the human and his forehead scrunched in confusion. The human looked guilty.
“Sorry! Probably should’ve warned you, huh?” His apologetic smile faded at the fear still lingering in Karl’s eyes. “Hey, I really am sorry. I wasn’t trying to hurt you, I just wanted to clean out that cut before it got infected. Or something.”
Karl just gave a slow nod, the adrenaline still in his body but beginning to drain a bit. His body was sluggish, and his mind was too. His eyes landed on a bit of bandaging, and he just pointed at it with some hesitance, not trusting his voice. The human seemed to understand, offering it with a gentle smile. He wrapped the fabric around his hand, securing it with practiced ease. He spotted a bit of lifting in the wall nearby, and, fueled by instinct, darted toward it.
A wave of exhaustion him, and his vision darkened. Ears ringing, he barely registered the human scooping him into his hands, feeling the warmth spreading through his body. His eyes drooped with exhaustion, his body going limp as the energy drained from him. A whimper escaped him, and he flinched as a massive finger brushed gingerly against his still-damp hair. “Shh…just sleep…you’re safe.”
And Karl did, eyes slipping closed as an odd sense of security overcame him.

Warnings for mild Stockholm taking root, injuries, fear, threats, treating someone as inferior, keeping a person as a pet (Let me know if I missed any!) Word Count ~1500
-----There Will Come a Day-----
“Oh, Theseus!” Shivers shot down his spine and he pressed himself against the back of the cage fearfully as the human entered the room. The name was given to him for trying to be a hero, but in the end, he’d just been caught himself. The smile the human gave the borrower was sickening and it felt paralyzing. “I had a really awful day at work, and I need to destress.” The cage door squeaked open and fingers reached forward and wrapped around his middle. “You don’t mind, do you?”
Tommy shook his head, though he knew it wasn’t really a question. He’d learned a long time ago that his opinion didn’t matter, and that struggling only made everything worse. But that was okay.
After all, he was Dream’s.
He was the property of the blond who liked to wear that stupid smiley mask and squeeze him a bit too tightly. Of the human who had been kind enough to give him food and shelter. He’d been told several times that he was lucky to be Dream’s.
There could have been a worse human that found him, he’d been told. That another human might have killed him and not have graciously befriended the borrower and kept him safe. Maybe, at the beginning, Tommy might have disagreed and fought, but now, after several months at least, he’d lost his fight and will to get away.
The fingers around him shifted and fidgeted with his limbs, though they didn’t do much to the wings stuffed under his shirt. Fingers rolled his arm absently as the human crossed the room to sit at his desk, tapping away with his other hand on the computer. The fingers around him squeezed every now and then, mostly bearable.
But one squeeze was particularly tight and it forced the air out of Tommy’s fragile lungs. A sound came with it, and his body instinctively pushed at the tight grip around him.
He realized his mistake a moment later as the clacking of keys stopped and he froze, feeling himself be moved and set down on the desk. The human clicked his tongue in disappointment.
“Theseus..” dissatisfaction dripped from the human’s lips, and he was scowling, Tommy could see it from the way the human/s lips quirked downward.
“I-I’m sorry, Dream,” the boy stuttered out, trying not to choke on his fear, “I, um, I didn’t mean to! The grip was just a bit too tight and I--”
A sharp, disbelieving laugh left the human. Tommy flinched. “I had a bad day. I told you that already, didn’t I?” Tommy didn’t respond, didn’t think that’s what Dream actually wanted.
He was wrong. A fist slammed down on the desk inches from Tommy, shaking the surface horribly and making Tommy fall. He stared up at the human with wide eyes filled with fear.
“I asked you a question, Theseus.” The human’s teeth were visible, clenched and Tommy shuddered. “When I ask a question, you answer, got it?” Tommy gave a series of rapid, frantic nods, arms curled close to his chest in panic. “Good.”
The human gave a sigh and leaned back, the anger from before still buzzing around Tommy, though the human seemed more relaxed. Tommy trembled with adrenaline, his nerves shot.
“Now, like I was saying. I had a bad day, and I told you that when I rescued you from your cage today, didn’t I?”
“Y-Yes, sir.” It took everything in Tommy to not flinch as a finger reached forward and gave him a rough pat of approval on his head. He hated that he craved the validation and warmth that was evident in Dream’s smile that appeared.
“Good boy!” He praised, scooping Tommy into his palms, the latter remaining motionless. “But I do think it’s kind of selfish of you to make this about you, don’t you?”
Dread pooled in his stomach and he swallowed fearfully. “Yes, sir.”
“I’m glad you agree, though I think you still need to be punished...” The human trailed off, pinching one of Tommy’s arms between his fingers. Tommy’s breath hitched. “But maybe you could change my mind?”
Tommy immediately fell into an incoherent babble of apologies and pleading. Saying he was so sorry and that he’d do better. Pleading for his tormentor friend not to hurt him. A part of him deep down knew that it did no good, but maybe it would lessen the punishment.
“Not good enough, Theseus,” Dream tsked.
Tommy didn’t have time to register the words before the human pulled and a blinding pain filled him. He was screaming, he realized, but couldn’t bring himself to stop.
“Theseus?”
Tommy tried to quiet himself and only succeeded slightly.
“Tommy!”
Tommy jolted awake in a dark room, the cold of his cage under him. He could see a silhouette that was barely outlined by the moonlight behind it. He scrambled back as a hand reached in, a panicked chirp leaving him.
He pressed his hands against his mouth, trying to muffle his whimpers as the human paused. Then it was reaching for him, and it gently scooped him out and brought him closer to the human before Tommy registered, shouting in fear.
“Dream, please!” He cried, body wracking with trembles as he curled close to himself, cradling his injured arm to his chest. “I didn’t mean to, please, just, please!”
“Hey,” A voice was saying, deep and monotonous, “hey, kid. You’re okay, no one’s gonna hurt you here.” A finger brushed up and down his arm.
That didn’t make sense. Even when Dream soothed him after he was punished, he wasn’t this gentle. Dream always said it in a patronizing way. This person sounded... genuine.
His breath sounded loud in his ears and he made a hesitant, daring move to look up at the human.
Now that his eyes had adjusted more, he could see the long, pale pink hair of the human in the moonlight. No smiling mask. A concerned expression, that he could see.
“Technoblade...?” He winced at how rough and quiet his voice came out. He sounded pathetic.
“Hey, kid. That’s right.” The vague praise and warmth in the voice sent pleasant shivers down his spine. “You back with me?”
Tommy nodded, then remembered himself with another wince. “Yes, sir.”
“Just Techno is fine,” the voice reminded him gently, yet Tommy still stiffened a bit, “you’re okay, kid.”
Tommy bit back the urge to tell the human that he wasn’t a kid, that he was a big man, but instead he simply nodded. Techno resumed the motion from before, trying to further soothe Tommy as he gently rubbed his arm.
Moments of silence stretched, and Techno broke it first.
“So, uh, before... you were makin’ like, bird sounds.” Techno didn’t notice how Tommy had stiffened. “Are you... an avian hybrid, by chance?”
“No!” Tommy blurted, the wings beneath his shirt flaring and giving him away.
“Kid, I can see your wings under there.” Tommy choked on a sob as he flinched away from the finger, pressing his forehead to the leathery skin of the hand he was on. He tried to show his apology in his very posture. “Kid..?”
“I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry, Technoblade!” Tommy trembled, keeping his head down despite the uncomfortable warmth. A panicked trill rose in his throat and he just barely suppressed it. “Please, sir, do what you want with anything but the wings, anything but the wings, please!”
It was hard to focus, and he had to strain to hear the gentle murmuring hums of the human holding him. Calming him down. Being patient. and kind, and too good for the likes of him.
“Shhh, hey, hey,” the gentle touch was back, this time just barely brushing over his wings through his thin shirt, almost hesitantly, “you deserve love. You didn’t deserve what Dream did to you. And I’m never, ever going to hurt you. I didn’t mean to scare you, I just asked because Phil is also one. You’re safe here, Tommy.”
“But, I, I lied. And I’m annoying, so...”
“Tommy.” The voice was firm now, and Tommy tensed. “Look at me.”
And he did. He looked up slowly, and saw how intently Technoblade was looking at him in the darkness, the dim light of the moon. He swallowed thickly.
“No one is ever going to hurt you again.” Techno told him with the most serious, earnest expression that Tommy had seen so far. “How many times do I need to tell you before you believe it?”
Tommy winced, opening his mouth to apologize, but Techno just shook his head slightly. And Tommy finally started to understand, a spark of his old self reigniting within him. Techno gave him a small smile in the moonlight, following up his previous question.
“Because I’ll remind you and prove it to you as many times as I need to.”

howdy! For the ask prompts can you please write 1 with Giant!Shlatt and Tiny!Quackity? -⭐️
Hi! Sorry that this one is so short! I don't watch Schlatt so all I really know is from like DSMP lore and stuff LOL
So he's not going to be the kindest, so be aware. (As I'm typing this I have NO CLUE what I'm doing or where I'm going LMAO lets goooooo!)
Prompt from here!
Warnings for language, rough handling, threats, fear Word Count ~850
------Yes Sir------
To be completely honest, this was not Alex Quackity's brightest moment. He'd thought that he'd just hide out in this building until the storm outside was over, and he'd be fine.
He was wrong. The ram hybrid found him, and they were currently staring at each other, frozen and unmoving.
Not that Quackity could really go anywhere anyway. He was cornered.
Like, literally, he was on the floor in the corner of the room, his exit effective blocked by the hybrid. There was no way he'd be able to get behind the nearby bookshelf, the giant being would be too fast.
That didn't mean that he didn't try, though.
But the moment he tried to move that way, the hybrid had crossed the room and crouched in front of the tiny duck hybrid, eyeing him with a smirk. The movement combined with that intense gaze made Quackity scramble back, flinching harshly as his back met the wall.
"You're - uh - you're..." The ram hybrid seemed to be processing what he was seeing, and his brain seemed to buffer for a moment before he added a simple obvious, "small."
Nervous, impulsive laughter bubbled out of Quackity. "Yeah, no shit. I almost forgot." His heart was pounding, and his attempt at covering his nerves with.. whatever that just was was a failure. His voice quavered, his body wracked with intense shaking.
If anything, the human only looked more amuse now, his smirk growing even wider and more predatory. Something unsettling settled over Quackity at the gaze, his feathers ruffling up instinctively.
"You just keep getting better and better." The hybrid was speaking, but it sounded oddly like a threat.
And then there was a hand that shot out and wrapped around him before he could even think about moving. He yelped and squirmed, trying to push at the fingers wrapped tightly around him.
He felt sick as he was moved without his will, wind whipping past him. He felt dizzy and he was lifted and carried over to the hybrid's desk. The movement halted, and Quackity looked up at the face above him, which seemed to be considering something.
"Don't move." The voice reverberated oddly through his body, and Quackity honestly wasn't thinking much as he was shifted again.
As soon as his feet hit solid ground, his body was moving, stumbling and trying to bolt away from the threat. He didn't make it far, a shriek escaping him as that tight grip was around him again, yanking him back into the air. And right in front of the massive stubbled face.
"I said," the hybrid tsked, "don't. Move." He opened a drawer, rummaging around for a moment before he paused, looking back to the tiny being in his grip. "And I know you can understand me, which means that you're just being a little shit." His voice was dangerously even, and Quackity pushed as the grip around him with trembling arms, wings flapping uselessly behind him. That predatory gaze locked on his wings, smirk terrifyingly cold. "If you don't behave for me, I might just have to..."
He trailed off, and Quackity's heart thrummed quickly against his rib cage. He threw desperate hits at the thick skin around him, face wet with tears, though he could tell that his struggles meant absolutely nothing. But he fell absolutely still as those disgusting fingers pinched his wings, wide eyes shooting up to cold, dark ones.
The ram hybrid said nothing, just raising a brow, but Quackity got the message loud and clear.
"I-I'll be good. I'm sorry." His voice was thick and it shook, but the grip on his precious wings stayed.
"Mmmmm. I think I'm going to need a bit more from you." Quackity shuddered as those fingers rubbed uncomfortably against his feathers. "I need you to not talk back, try to run, and maybe a few other things down the line. Or," the rubbing stopped, and Quackity gasped as the pressure increased a bit. "you'll have to learn your lesson. Understood?"
"Yes!"
"Yes?" The ram hybrid tilted his head, curves horns glinting as lightning flashed in the distance. "Yes, what?"
"Yes, sir." And even though it sounded forced (mostly because it was) it seemed to satisfy him enough because the grip on his wings let up, and Quackity slumped a bit with relief.
"Schlatt?" A voice called from beyond the locked door, making both of their eye snap over to it. "We have policies to discuss. The meeting is in a few minutes, remember?"
"I'll be there!" Quackity flinched at the shout that his captor gave in return. The footsteps faded as the person walked away. "And you... Hm," he rummaged through his drawer again before pulling out a jar and struggling for a moment to remove the lid, "in you go then, hm?"
And then Quackity was dumped unceremoniously into the glass prison. His body ached from the rough grip and he winced. Yeah, that's going to leave some bruises alright.
The door clicked closed as his Schlatt left, and Quackity flinched at the loud sound it created. Quackity curled into himself, crying softly and hoping that this wouldn't be his forever.

For the Borrower Sapnap and George Prompt after George gets injured for their chance encounter with Dream. How would Sapnap go ask him for help?
(I love your work it’s so refreshing to find G/T aus for slowly growing fandoms)
Aw, thank you! I’m really glad you like my AUs <3
Fun fact, this was actually the first g/t AU I wrote for this fandom, so it holds a special place in my heart! I came up with the Giant!Dream AU a few days after this one, and I’d thought about g/t AUs for a while, but this was the first one I actually wrote for.
I was gonna have a detailed explanation of how George got caught, but this is a super accurate description honestly lol:
Tumblr media
George was curious about Dream’s computer, he fell and hit his head. Dream untangled him from the cords and Sapnap ran in and argued with Dream before stabbing him because he wouldn’t let George go. The borrowers left (Dream caught Sapnap too but let them both go; he just wanted to stop them from leaving because George was hurt, but they both freaked out and now he feels super guilty about it) and now Sap wants to pack up and leave, but George doesn't want to leave their home. Sapnap knows they can't leave while George is hurt, though. At first Sapnap thinks George is kinda off balance and stumbling because he hurt his leg, but he checks it out and learns that George actually hit his head.
(Warnings for concussion and discussion of side effects under the cut. Also, this is a LONG post.)
Sapnap has no clue what to do; it's not like he's had any medical training. He can't even really remember the human word for this type of head injury. George had seemed fine, but now that his adrenaline's fading it's clear that he's kinda struggling. Mostly some confusion, loss of balance, and fatigue. He's almost acting loopy.
It's not an emergency situation, but it's serious enough. And the human knows that they're in his house. That just makes a bad situation worse. Sap makes George go to sleep and hopes he'll feel better in the morning. He is, but not by much. Not enough that Sap would risk moving out of the house. Sapnap realizes that he needs to find a way to help with George's injury.
"We could use his computer, borrow his phone." George giggles, rubbing at his face. "Borrowing. Not stealing. We can 'ctually use that word since we'll give it back, right?"
Sapnap sighs. "Dude, you literally got this injury trying to use his computer. If he caught us messing with his phone? After he's given us a warning, and when you can't run? We'd be screwed."
"Mhmmm," George mumbles, head dropping into his hands. "But. . .dunno, maybe he'd be nice. He said he'd help."
Sapnap gives him the most disbelieving look he can muster.
In the end, though, it's either sit around and do nothing, use the phone without permission, or go to Dream for help. Sapnap eventually decides that the phone is the least risky option, because he has no clue what will happen if they don't figure out how to treat George's wound and he does not trust the human.
The problem is that Sapnap doesn't really know how to use Dream's phone; yes, George knows how to use the internet and even figured out Dream's passcode, but that means George will have to come with him. This makes things even riskier because George is having trouble walking, let alone running or climbing, but they don’t really have any other options.
Sapnap keeps an eye out; later that day, Dream leaves his phone on the table when he goes back to his room. Sapnap gives him a few minutes, just in case he comes back for it, then quickly drags George along with him and helps him climb. They both have minimal gear to keep from being too heavy since Sapnap's basically carrying George up the rope; they've even left most of their weapons behind.
There are some things on the table that can be used to hide behind--a napkin holder, a cup, a few books--but none of them are great for cover and Sapnap's pretty sure that Dream would still be able to see them. He has George unlock the phone and show him how to use the web browser (it's a long process; George struggles to remember the passcode and keeps repeating stuff Sapnap has already done) and then he makes George lean against the napkin holder and rest while he searches.
But then, because their luck is shit, Dream shows up.
---
Warnings for concussion (+ discussion of side effects, including vomiting), self-depreciative talk (George referring to his color-blindness in a negative way), past improper use of medication
Word count: 5,406 words
---
Dream isn’t sure what he was expecting to find when he realized that he’d left his phone on the table, but it certainly wasn’t this.
The little guy--shit, Dream doesn’t know this one’s name, he only knows that the possibly injured one was named George--stares up at him with wide eyes, taking a step away from Dream’s phone like he’s trying to pretend he wasn’t using it. He doesn’t pull out his tiny knife this time, which Dream is thankful for; his knuckles still sting where he’d been slashed with that weapon yesterday.
“Um. . .what are you doing with my phone?” Dream asks, brows furrowing. It doesn’t make any sense. The tiny guys had been so freaked out yesterday, why would they risk messing with his stuff again? Not that Dream’s going to hurt them for it, of course, but they certainly seemed to think he would.
I’m not exactly a fan of them messing with my phone and computer, though. They could break something, and I also don’t really want them just. . .reading my personal texts or looking at my photos or whatever they’re doing. It’s CREEPY.
The tiny’s shoulders hunch, but he clenches his fists and refuses to break eye contact with Dream. “. . .nothing.”
Dream frowns, reaching for his phone. The tiny stumbles back, startled, and Dream falters and makes sure to keep his movements slow as he picks up his phone.
“You were searching stuff about. . .head injuries?” Dream asks, squinting at the search history. The tiny stiffens and doesn’t seem to know how to answer the question. “Why- wait, did your friend hit his head, is that what happened?”
He was stumbling, I thought he must’ve hurt his leg or something. But maybe he did-
The tiny suddenly takes another step back, glancing to the side for a second before returning his focus to Dream. Dream follows the tiny’s gaze and realizes that he was looking over at the napkin holder, seeming almost frantic.
Could it be. . .
Dream rests his hand on top of the napkin holder, carefully sliding it to the side. The tiny spits out a curse, moving forward like he’s planning on lunging for Dream’s hand, but they both freeze when a small shape stumbles into view.
Yep, that’s George.
Dream stares down at the tiny, feeling like his mind is spinning in circles because George looks awful. Yesterday, George had seemed a bit weak, but Dream had just assumed it was because he was all shaken up from the accidental scare. Now, though, it’s obvious he isn’t doing too great.
George sways slightly, blinking up at Dream, face pale and somehow managing to look smaller than he did before. He doesn’t try to move away from Dream, doesn’t jump back in surprise or freeze like the other tiny did.
There’s no fear in his gaze. Dream knows that’s a bad thing, because the tiny was terrified yesterday; he must be really out of it.
Fuck, did he hit his head that badly when he fell? Or. . .or did I somehow do something to make it worse?
The other tiny suddenly moves closer, standing between George and Dream, staring up at him like he’s daring Dream to do something.
Dream can see that the tiny’s hands are trembling; he makes sure to keep his own hands still, not wanting to stress them out any further.
“Were you trying to figure out how to help your friend?” Dream eventually asks, doing his best to keep his voice quiet, but the tiny still flinches. “I could help you.”
I don’t know much about concussions, but. . .I know you’re supposed to REST. George clearly isn’t doing that; why would his friend drag him around the house with an injury like this?
The tiny almost seems to puff up, planting his feet more firmly on the table. George slowly reaches for him, wrapping his fingers around his friend’s wrist as he blinks up at Dream, still looking eerily calm about the whole situation.
“No,” the tiny blurts out, rotating his arm so he can gently hold George’s hand, their fingers lacing together. “We can’t- what would you want in exchange for that? We don’t have anything to give you. We already promised to leave.”
Dream falters, closing his mouth. Oh, they’re expecting me to ask for something in return. . .would they be MORE suspicious if I said I didn’t want anything? That this is just a genuine offer of help?
“I just wanna help,” Dream says, lowering his hands. “I- it was my fault he got hurt; well, I guess technically it wasn’t, but I certainly didn’t make things any better. Let me do this as- as an apology to you guys, I guess.”
The tiny frowns at him, not looking at all reassured by his words. “Bullshit. You just want to have an-”
“We could. . .” George’s words are quiet, but his tiny friend immediately falls silent, turning to look at George. It takes George a minute to piece together the words, frowning down at the table as he thinks.
"We could give him his stuff back," George mutters, making a gesture like he's wrapping something around his arm. His tiny friend looks confused for a second before his eyes suddenly widen and he hisses for George to shut up; George either doesn’t hear the words or doesn’t understand them, because he continues. "The rope, the. . .the cord thing. The headbuds, 's that the word?"
"My earbuds?" Dream asks, remembering the cheap set for his phone that had disappeared a few weeks ago. George gives Dream a weak grin; his tiny friend, on the other hand, is watching Dream with fearful eyes, clearly worried that Dream’ll be upset that they took his shitty headphones. "Sure, you could give those back, that sounds fair."
The tiny instantly seems to relax, letting out a quiet huff of air. “Oh. Okay. So. . .we’ll go get those for you, trade that to you? And you’ll fix George?”
“I’ll do everything I can to help,” Dream says, glancing over at George again. “Head injuries. . .they’re hard to fix, I don’t know how much I can do. But I’ll tell you everything I know about them, and I’ll give you anything that could help.”
The tiny nods, adjusting his hold on George, getting George’s arm over his shoulder and helping him take a step back. “Alright. We'll go get those, and then we'll come back and-"
"Wait, wait, hold on. You're taking George with you?" Dream asks, squinting at the two of them. "He can barely stand, there's no way he'll make it there and back without hurting himself. He should be resting, not climbing all over the place."
Actually, they don’t even have to leave right now. I don't need the earbuds; he could always go and get them later. Dream opens his mouth to add that but the tiny stiffens, scowling up at him before interrupting.
"You're saying he can't come with me?" He hisses, hands clenching into fists.
"I'm saying that if he goes with you, he's gonna get himself hurt. People with concussions need to rest," Dream stresses. "He could stay here with me while you get the earbuds? Or I could carry him closer to where you guys live so he doesn't have to walk too far, I guess, but I don't know where that is. Plus, that seems kinda pointless because I’d just have to bring him back here a few minutes later to treat his injury."
The tiny stares up at Dream; Dream wonders what he’s thinking, because it looks like his mind’s racing.
What’s worrying him? What can I do to reassure him, to help prove that I don’t mean any harm?
Eventually, the tiny slowly shakes his head. “I- you can’t- no. You can’t carry him.”
"Actually, he could c'rry me," George chirps, staring up at Dream.
"No." His tiny friend lets out a sound that’s practically a growl, tightening his grip on George’s hand and shaking his head again. "No, because you'd still have to walk through the walls. I think. . .maybe at the end, when you're all done and ready to go to bed, he can carry us. Maybe. But for this first trip? He doesn't need to touch us."
“Well, I guess he’s staying here with me, then?” Dream asks. “I could. . .I’ll figure out his symptoms, use this time to learn how to help him feel better. That way we’ll already know what to do by the time you get back. Okay?”
The tiny shudders, glancing between George and Dream for a moment, but eventually he takes a step back.
"Oka- yeah, I guess so. I'll get the earbuds." The tiny moves over to the edge of the table, and Dream realizes that there’s a small rope there, leading all the way to the ground. "I'll be back soon. Dream, you so much as look at him wrong and I'll put your headphones somewhere you'll never find them. And don’t you fucking touch him, either.”
The tiny says these words with false bravery; he makes eye contact with Dream as he speaks, scowling the whole time, but Dream can see how his fingers are trembling.
Dream chooses not to say anything about the desperate threat; he just nods. The tiny gives George one last nervous look, then turns around and slides down the rope, moving so quickly that Dream’s worried he might slip and fall.
He doesn’t. He runs across the floor, glancing back at Dream once before disappearing behind the fridge.
Dream, meanwhile, is stunned into stillness for a minute. He’s. . .not really sure what to do, now that the uninjured tiny’s gone. If he’s being honest, he feels a bit nervous about being alone with George.
He blinks down at George, and George blinks back. The tiny’s goggles are pushed up onto his forehead, which makes it easy for Dream to see how much he's squinting.
"Okay." Dream lets out a breath and picks his phone back up. Just. . .act like this is a friend with a concussion, I guess. Ignore the fact that he’s tiny enough that you could kill him by accident. "Okay. Why don't I, um, list some symptoms? And you let me know which ones you have so we know how serious this is?"
George nods, taking a few wobbly steps in Dream's direction; Dream practically holds his breath the entire time, glad his hands are out of reach. It's like watching a baby bird try to walk; he looks so fragile right now, and Dream’s honestly too scared to even think about touching him.
"Can I. . .see you use it?” The tiny eventually asks, words slightly slurred; his voice is weak enough that Dream has to lean a bit closer to hear him better. “The- the phone? I wanna see it."
"Um." Dream wants nothing more than to say yes--he can see how George's eyes are practically shining with excitement, even though they're unfocused--but he forces himself to shake his head. "No, it'll hurt your eyes. Make you feel worse."
George reaches up and tugs at his goggles, trying to cover his eyes with them but struggling too much to get a good grip on them, so he gives up. They're made out of tinted glass, almost like sunglasses. "These'll, they. . .they protect my eyes. Make them work right, y'know? B'cause I don't see right. I can look at the phone."
He doesn't see right? Maybe he has poor eyesight and uses them like glasses? Dream pushes down his questions, deciding to wait to ask them; it doesn't seem like George has any kind of filter right now, and he doesn't want to learn something that he's not supposed to. "Sorry, you can't. You need to rest."
George frowns, crossing his arms over his chest and looking down at his feet. The second Dream starts scrolling through the website, though, he perks back up and starts inching closer again.
"George." Dream considers moving to the couch so he can do this, but he really doesn't want to risk leaving the injured tiny alone. What if he tries to follow and falls off the table or something? "You can't."
"You're so mean," George grumbles; Dream stares at him, too startled to say anything. He thinks he might laugh, actually. "You didn't let me use your c'mputer, and now I can't use th' phone. You're a dick."
Dream sputters, forcing down his laughter as George looks up at him with an unamused expression. "I'm sorry. Maybe next time, okay?"
“Next time?" George tilts his head to the side, then nods, sitting down so quickly that Dream thought he fell over at first. Maybe he did. "When will next time be?"
"I don't know, tomorrow? It's up to your friend, probably." Dream says, saving a few screenshots with tips onto his phone so he can come back to them easily.
George's brows furrow, the movement so small that Dream can hardly pick up on it. "What friend?"
Dream blinks. Oh fuck. Oh god, did he lose his memory? "The. . .the guy who brought you here? Uh, with the white thing tied around his head?"
"Oh, Sapnap." George nods, looking proud of himself. "No, 's not my friend. He's also a dick. He said we have'ta leave."
Dream opens his mouth to ask but quickly stops himself. I really hope that's not true. Did I spook them that badly? Will this be enough to convince them that I'm fine with them sticking around? Instead, he just says, "Wow. Sounds like you meet a lot of mean people."
"You aren't mean!" George blurts out.
Dream chuckles, because George sounded so offended. "Dude, you literally called me mean, like, less than a minute ago."
"Yeah, but 's not true. You're scary and tall and you have. . .have, like, hands. You covered Sapnap with your hands. But you aren't mean." George says. "You didn't squish him. You aren't mean."
Dream goes still, staring down at George. He has no idea what to say to all of that. It kinda hurts, hearing that they find him scary. That George still thinks he's scary even when loopy like this. But George is saying he isn't mean, so it's probably meant to be a compliment. "Thanks?"
"Welcome." George gives a sharp little nod, then winces. "You said you would read."
"Yeah, I did, didn't I." Dream mutters, scrolling through the symptoms. Most of them he can spot himself, but. . . "Did you guys happen to check your eyes, see if your pupils dilated?"
George frowns. "My eyes are right here."
"Yep, they are. Did you guys shine a light in them?" George stares at him blankly; Dream takes that as a no. I could try to do it, but I don't think I'd be able to see. And my flashlight might be enough to really hurt his eyes. I'll wait for the other guy--Sapnap?--to get back. "Have you been sick?"
"I'm not sick, I have a fuckin' consclussion." George pouts up at Dream; Dream does his best not to react to the mispronunciation of the word. "If I was sick I would be sleeping."
"Sorry, I guess sick wasn't the right word to use here. Did you throw up at all? Did you fall unconscious?" Dream asks. It takes George a second to process the questions, but he eventually shakes his head. Dream decides to ask 'Sapnap' the same questions, just to make sure.
"Okay. How did you sleep last- did you sleep last night? Like, through the night? Did he wake you up at all?" Dream frowns, making a mental note to remind them to do that.
George nods his head. "He snores. But I slept a lot. He made me wake up one time to drink some water and talk."
"Okay, that's good. He should check on you tonight too, okay? I'll remind him, don't worry about remembering that." Dream looks at the other symptoms; George seems to have headaches, balance issues, vision issues, fatigue and maybe some memory issues. Absolutely a concussion. I'm not a doctor, but that seems pretty obvious. "Do you want some water?"
"I remember everything." George mumbles, tapping his fingers on the table. "Everything, everything. I can tell him."
"Do you want some water?" Dream repeats, a bit more firmly this time. George twitches and looks up at him.
"You don't have our cups, though. And Sapnap won't tell you where the house is. I could tell you where the house is." George blurts out, rising to his feet. He's unsteady, but standing without needing help.
"No, don't worry about that. I guess I could bring you over to the sink? Or-" Dream looks at the cabinet where he stores most of his dishes, trying to remember what he has. "I could get a bowl or something? I don't think I have one small enough for you, sorry, but you could use your hands?"
"Hands." George repeats, then nods.
"Sure." Dream moves to go grab a bowl, but suddenly George is walking over to him and he feels like his whole body locks up. "Um, what?"
George reaches forward, brushing his fingers across the back of Dream's hand, carefully avoiding the shallow cut Sapnap had left on Dream’s knuckles the day before. "I don't really like hands."
"Okay?" Dream whispers, trying to keep from twitching at the feather-light touches. It's hard, but he’s determined to keep his hand still. "That's fine?"
"But I don't not like them either." George adds, saying it like he's stating the obvious. "What's with yours?"
"What's. . .with my hands?" Dream asks, trying to piece together what George is saying. "I mean, they're hands? What else is there?"
"You're very still. You aren't normally still. When I watch you, you always move and talk. Are you sick too?" George asks, looking up at Dream with wide, worried eyes.
"I'm not sick," Dream hurries to reassure George, before mentally doing a double-take. When he WATCHES me? "When you watch me? Like, uh, like you were doing yesterday by my computer?"
"Yesterday was stupid, Sapnap was stupid. Self-sacrificing, gonna get h'mself squished. I didn't even have my bow." George frowns, looking put out for a second before brightening again. "I liked watching you more before."
"Before," Dream repeats, doing his best to keep his voice level. He's been fine with the fact that these guys have been hanging around for a bit, but the main thing that bugs him is the lack of privacy, because they just keep going through his personal stuff like his phone. And now apparently they just. . .watch him, too? What the hell?
"Yeah!" George chirps, patting Dream’s hand. "Weeks and weeks. Your voice is always loud, I can hear you and know when to look."
Weeks? Sapnap had said they hadn't been here long, he said they were just passing through. Was he lying, then? If so, what else were they lying about?
Dream squints at George; he doesn't seem to be capable of lying right now, not with the concussion affecting him like this, which means that Sapnap must have been lying.
I mean, it's not like they could be doing anything sinister, right? What's the worst they can do with whatever they see? It’s not like they can tell anybody. Who knows, maybe they don't even know any better. Still, I REALLY don't like that, though.
"Why do you watch me?" Dream decides to ask, figuring he might as well try and get the truth from someone.
George blinks at him, looking horribly confused. "Because you're a human?"
Dream's hand twitches as he fights the urge to drum his fingers on the table; George doesn't seem to notice. "But why? Is it just so you can, like, figure out my schedule? Learn how to avoid me or something?"
"That why Sapnap does," George says, speaking slowly, like he's trying to explain something to a child. "Sometimes me too, but I like the typing thing you do, so I watch that just because I want too even though it makes Sapnap grumpy."
"The typing thing." Dream says. He literally just sits in my room and watches me use my computer? How did I not notice him before? "Do you mean coding?"
"I think so?" George chews on his lip as he thinks. "It's a lot 'f words that aren't really words but you talk when you do it, so I understand more."
"Do you do this a lot?" Dream asks.
George shrugs. "Maybe? Dunno. Wanna build things like your c'mputer, that's why I took your headbuds. Sorry."
"It's okay, I don't really care about the earbuds," Dream reassures him, letting some of the tension bleed out of his body. They aren't purposefully trying to invade your privacy. Calm down. It's okay. TALK to them first and explain why this is a problem, instead of jumping to conclusions and getting upset.
It's hard to stay mad at George, who is currently staring up at him with wide eyes. The tiny guy lets out a little sniffle and wipes at his face with his sleeve.
Oh fuck, oh no, what did I do?
"Hey, hold on, it's okay," Dream murmurs, wishing he could try and hold the tiny in a gentle hug to comfort him. He feels a warm tear drip onto his hand. Shit. "What's wrong?"
"I broke them," George whimpers, shoulders hunching. He still has a hand on top of Dream's hand; Dream can just barely feel his fingers flex when he clenches his fist. "I wanted to see how they worked so I took them apart and used some wires, but now you want them back and you'll be mad-"
"Easy there, calm down." Dream lifts his free hand up, very gently brushing a finger against George's arm. He doesn't lean into the touch, but he doesn't pull away, either. "I promise I'm not mad."
"But you wanna trade me for them and they're broken," George insists. "It's not a fair trade if one thing's broken."
"Wh- it's not a trade," Dream promises, pulling his finger away since it doesn't seem to be helping. "I'm not gonna keep you, don't worry."
"You aren't?" George whines, somehow looking even more panicked. "Then what- where- are you getting rid-"
Shit. "I didn't mean it like that. I'm saying you can go back to Sapnap, okay? It's fine that the headphones were broken. Sapnap wasn't trading them for you, he was trading them for information. Okay?"
"I'm broken." George mumbles, looking like he made the greatest discovery as he grins up at Dream. "I'm broken! It's a fair trade!"
What the FUCK.
"You aren't broken. What, why- because you're hurt? Is that what you mean?" Dream asks, eyes wide as he stares down at George. "You think you're broken because you're injured?"
"Mhmm. And my eyes are bad." George taps at his goggles before wincing. "Ouch. Yeah, they're bad. I can't see as much danger. It's why I'm with Sapnap."
Not my business, not my business. Dream sighs. "Trust me, you aren't broken, and we're gonna trade back with Sapnap and everything's gonna be just fine. Alright?"
"Okay." George finally moves his hand away from Dream’s and takes a step back, glancing around. "You said Sapnap? Is he back yet?"
Dream looks at the floor, but he doesn't see any sign of the other tiny. It's been like ten minutes, how long is the trip? "Not yet, but he'll be here soon."
George sits back down, burying his face in his hands. "My head hurts."
"I'm sorry." Dream moves his hand, planning to use it to shield George from the kitchen lights, but the tiny flinches at the movement and Dream lowers his hand again.
"Oh, wait, I said I'd get you water, didn't I? Sorry." Dream slides his phone into his pocket; George, as tired as he is, still lifts his head to watch the movement. "You still want it?"
"Don't really want anything," George grumbles, rubbing at his eyes.
"Well, I can get you some easily. And-" Dream pauses, words cutting off when he spots movement out of the corner of his eye. He turns and sees Sapnap, making his way across the floor, half-carrying and half-dragging the earbuds behind himself. He freezes when he notices Dream watching.
Dream takes a step back to give him some space, and Sapnap gives Dream a nod before standing on his tiptoes, clearly trying to see onto the table.
"Sapnap's here," Dream murmurs; George sits upright, looking like he's about to sprint for the edge, but he wobbles and fall back down.
"Sapnap!" George yelps, sounding rather cheery. Dream can see how Sapnap instantly relaxes once he hears his friend’s voice. "Is my bow still lost?"
“Sorry, Gogy, didn't have time to grab it." Sapnap drops the tangled bundle of earbud cords onto the ground, shooting a nervous glance up at Dream. He seems. . .really antsy, actually. Even more antsy than when he'd left George behind in the first place.
He's carrying more stuff on his back than he was earlier, too. Dream squints at him but can't quite tell what new stuff he has; it's mostly hidden away in some kind of makeshift rucksack.
"There you go." Sapnap kicks at the earbuds, then takes a couple of steps to the side so he can grab the rope leading up to the table. He seems torn between climbing up it and waiting for something. Dream isn't quite sure what.
Dream sinks into a crouch and picks up the earbuds. George. . .was underselling the damage, honestly. Much of the rubber sheath has been cut away to allow access to the insides, and Dream can see where George has pulled out wires and cut them. No way in hell these things still work.
He runs his thumb over the biggest section of damage, then looks over at Sapnap. The tiny goes completely, utterly still, hands gripping the rope so tightly that his knuckles start to pale.
He must be worried about making an unfair trade, too.
Does. . .does he think I’m going to be MAD that they’re broken?
"Did you get any use out of these?" Dream asks, in an effort to ease the tension. "George mentioned that he'd taken them apart already; were you guys able to make anything out of them?"
Sapnap slowly shakes his head, moving his leg around until the rope's partly wrapped around it. His voice is quiet when he eventually speaks. "No, he was just learning."
"Like with my computer?" Dream asks; Sapnap stiffens again. "He-"
"No!" Sapnap blurts out, gaze flicking up like he's checking to see if George is watching. "No, he wouldn't break your computer like that. He was just looking. He knows better than to mess with stuff you still use."
"Okay." Dream debates offering Sapnap a hand but decides against it. He stands up, but he must do it too suddenly, because Sapnap lets out a quiet, startled noise. "I'm gonna put these in my room."
Dream retreats, giving the two of them a minute together and hopefully letting Sapnap climb without being scared that Dream will grab him.
When he returns, Sapnap is kneeling in front of a sitting George with his face buried in his friend’s hair. Dream is pretty sure that he's whispering something. When he notices Dream, he springs to his feet and crosses his arms.
"So how do we fix him?" Sapnap asks, once Dream is back at the table. "How do I help him stop hurting?"
"There's not really much we can do," Dream admits. Sapnap scowls at him, somehow managing to be intimidating. "There's medicine to help with the pain, but. . .I don't know if that would work with you guys."
Sapnap opens his mouth, but George pipes up first. "Medicine? That's fun. But very very hard, we have to count a lot. Sapnap got really sick once."
Dream frowns. "I. . .really don't think we should do that. It could be dangerous."
"Fair." Sapnap nods his head, glancing over to George. "But that's just pain medicine? What about not-sick medicine? So that he can walk and think right?"
"There isn't a special type of medicine for a concussion; well, maybe, but if there is, I don't have it. Honestly, the best thing for him to do is rest," Dream explains.
Sapnap takes a step forward, jabbing a finger in Dream's direction. "That's what he's been doing! But he wakes up with horrible noises and he keeps forgetting that he even woke up in the first place! Resting isn’t helping, and he’s getting worse."
"But he hasn't been resting, you literally dragged him across the house to use my phone," Dream points out, tapping a finger against the table.
"Don't you fucking tell me what to do," Sapnap growls, shifting his weight side to side like he wants to pace. "He was resting all day before that. And we needed to figure out how to help him; I don't know how to use your stupid phone."
"I offered my help, you could've come to me," Dream shoots back. "That's what you're doing now, isn't it? Next time just do that from the start."
"Next time?" Sapnap shouts, taking a step forward. "What do you-"
"I just meant that next time something happens, you guys can come to me, okay?"
George sighs, tucking his face into his elbow. "How many next times do we have left?"
Dream blinks at him, struggling to parse that vaguely ominous sentence. Sapnap barks out a laugh. "Shut up, George."
"Hey," George whines, grabbing onto Sapnap's arm. "I didn't do it."
Sapnap whirls around to snap at George and Dream leans forward. "Hey, quit it, Sapnap. He's hurt-"
"Yeah, he is!" Sapnap rounds on Dream, moving closer until he's less than a foot away. "And you know whose fucking fault that is? Yours. Your offers of help don't mean shit when you're just trying to ease your guilty feelings! You could've let us go a lot earlier, but no, you were curious."
Dream gapes at him. "I-"
"You didn't have to catch me, did you?” Sapnap practically spits the words. “Tell yourself it was because you were making sure we weren't hurt all you want, but you could've just let us go, you-"
George shoves at Sapnap's shoulder, too weak to knock him off balance. "Stop! Sapnap, this isn't helping anything!"
"You're soft for humans, George." Sapnap growls, not looking him in the eyes. "But there's a time and a place for that, and this is not one of them."
Dream scowls, forcing himself not to clench his fists. "And now is not the time for this, either. We need to focus on George."
"His own fuckin' mess," Sapnap snarls, but he backs off, brushing a hand against George's arm briefly before he starts to pace along the edge of the table.
Dream lets out a frustrated huff of air, doing his best to calm himself before turning his attention back to George. The tiny blinks at him, eyes still foggy, but he looks a bit nervous now.
“Okay.” Dream makes sure to keep his voice calm, even. “Why don’t we just. . .go through this list of treatments, then figure things out from there.”
He reopens the tabs on his phone, studying the list of possible treatments. Some of them seem straightforward, but a lot of them (especially the medicine) seem too risky to try with the tinies.
“Sapnap, I’m gonna go through this,” Dream explains. Sapnap scowls but stops pacing, finally paying attention to him. “I need you to tell me which of these you can do on your own, and which ones you’ll need my help with.”
At the end of the day, there’s not much I can do for a concussion, but. . .I’m sure I could help in other ways.
Do they have enough food? Do they have a safe place to sleep? I could certainly help with all of those.
The tricky part is convincing Sapnap to LET me help, though. . .hopefully as he spends more time with me, he’ll start to understand that I genuinely just want to help them.
---
I’m gonna end this here, because otherwise I’ll never stop writing and I already took WAY too long to answer this ask lol
This is now officially the longest g/t scene I’ve EVER posted, for any fandom, officially beating my old DBH g/t fic (individual parts of it, at least, but not the entire series.) I’m very happy with this, and it is special to me because this is one of my oldest mcyt g/t aus.
Thank you for your patience! I’m gonna work on the next asks now, which are about MerGeorge noms and the infamous “George incident” from my Giant Dream au :) Those will also be longer pieces of writing, but hopefully I can work on those a bit more quickly than I did with this one.

Ft. Tiny Phil and Human Techno.
Content warning: language, death/killing mention, angst
———
It's a harsh world
It's a harsh, harsh world, and Philza Minecraft will do anything to survive.
In this harsh world for him— A Tiny—and he'll use whatever resources he can. Because he has to survive.
...
Philza Minecraft is a tiny that has lived for a long time. Far longer than the normal amount, actually. It's not because of tinies has longer lifespans than humans, No. Actually, there are recent research proving that a tiny has a bit shorter lifespan than a human. But Philza has lived far longer than a tiny and a human's lifespan.
And he owes it to his lover.
"Lady Death" people call her. Whispers bouncing along the cities of travelers— humans and tinies alike— he heard.
"Lady Death has fallen in love with a mortal" the folktale whispered to children said. "The mortal took the love, and swore to her that he will give her everything" It continues on "Lady Death rejected it, Death doesn't desire worldly things. Death has seen things come and go. But there is something that Death desires." The folktale echoed, and Philza knows the continuation "The mortal then was gifted two things, with one of them being 500 years for life. And then Lady Death asked the mortal—"
"Phil?" a voice echoed. Snapping Philza's reminiscense. Phil looked up, and was met with a concerned face "You okay?"
"Yeah, Techno. I'm fine" Phil replied.
Technoblade. A travelling warrior who helped him when he was hunted. It was a frightening situation and though Phil was sure he could escape by himself— especially since he has that thing— he still appreciates the help.
After that incident, Techno and Phil travelled together. They'll travel together for the span of maybe three months. They were heading the same way— with Techno getting a yearly invitation to the neighbouring kingdom colloseum and Phil is Phil, travelling wherever his feet brought him, and it just so happens that he was heading towards the neighbouring kingdom.
They got along great. there was this another time where Phil was almost got taken away by a bear, and Techno saved him— again, a frightening situation where Phil is sure he can get out of it by himself (he carries a sword around for a reason) but were nonetheless grateful at Techno for saving him.
As for Techno, when Phil asked why Techno still bother travelling with him, Techno gave him a simple "Why not?" and continue on eating the freshly-cooked bear meat. Phil laughed it off with a "That mindset will cause you trouble one day, mate"
Of course, Phil isn't being a total hindrance or anything, Phil has a vast knowledge of things in general. There are times when he knew that a certain source of water is poisonous or times when he knew exactly what to do when they saw a traveler got bitten by a poisonous snake(Techno got bit once, actually)
They got along great. Techno doesn't seem to mind or care that Phil is a tiny. He cares for Phil. Several nights were spent with them telling stories to each other— which Phil had plenty— and several mornings were spent with them laughing and relaxing around small animals.
But again. It's a harsh world.
Techno and Phil lives in a harsh world where it's very possible for strangers to try and kill them
And said situation is happening now.
It's getting dark. The sun is gleefully moving down its path, waiting for and cares for no one.
It's getting dark, and two travellers— with one of them being a tiny— meet another pair of travellers.
"It's getting dark. Why don't we rest here for the night?" Offered one of the opposing pair of travelers to Techno and Phil. They agreed, It'll be safer to stay in groups, afterall.
Techno and Phil didn't know, that the decision will cost them greatly.
It was so sudden, the moment the two "travellers" noticed their guards are down, they attacked. One of them locking Techno's movement and the other trapping Phil in a wooden cage while helping the other one locking Techno down.
The situation got ugly very, very quickly
Phil isn't listening to the two "travellers" anymore. His mind is digging up memories. Memories from 232 years ago. Memories from when he first died.
Philza Minecraft died in the hands of hunters. In a cage.
No. Fuck no. Phil thought. I can't die here. I can't— I shouldn't— I still have to—
Philza looked around. It's dark. Dark and wet. It had just hit Phil's mind that it had rained. Before him, Techno is struggling from the hold. The two people who tried to take them are distracted from trying to keep Techno in his place, including the one that's in charge of Phil's cage.
The people had taken Phil's sword, but they hadn't taken anything else from him. The thought left Phil grinning. A foolish decision, really. He's tiny, sure, but that doesn't mean he doesn't carry a hidden blade around.
The wooden cage is normally a hassle to cut, but it's nothing compared to when he was locked in a steel cage centuries ago. The wooden cage was a breeze compared to that.
Thus, Philza Minecraft broke free
Philza Minecraft broke free, and spreaded out his wings.
Philza Minecraft broke free, spreaded out his wings, and looked at each of the human's face. Including Techno's face.
A shine of awe sparked in his eyes, his mouth is left half-open in shock. But most of all, he had the expression of a pleading man. Wanting to be helped.
—but before that, let me tell you a story.
A folktale passed around the world for generations. A story about Lady Death.
A story you have yet to finish reading.
Lady Death gifted a mortal whom she loved two gifts, with one of them being 500 years for life, and one of them was wings.
Lady Death then asked the mortal "Can you live my 'life' for me?" the mortal who was madly in love with Death agreed, and Death gave the mortal a part of her soul, hoping to experience the 'life' she has never experienced.
—that mortal was Philza Minecraft.
That's why Philza shouldn't die.
That's why Philza will do anything to survive.
That's why Philza only spared his two and a half month-long friend a glance, and flew away. Philza had a chance to help him. But he will not take it. Not if it risked the life he had to share with Death.
Afterall, what's two and a half month to a centuries old being?
...
Behind Philza, Techno was left alone. Alone with the two people who were trying to take him.
Alone with the memory of Philza, asking him why Techno had still bothered taking him along. "Why not" Techno had answered. And with the back figure of a flying Philza, Techno had realized what did Philza meant when he said "That mindset will cause you trouble one day"

------No Matter What------
“Come on, Karl!” Quackity was giving the brunet an exaggerated pout, huffing as he pulled on his fiancé lightly. “You never stay with me and Sap for longer than, like.. I think eight hours was your record.”
“I’m sorry, Quackity, I just..” He hesitated some, pulling gently away from him as he felt his body beginning to fight against this form. “I really need to go, okay?”
“Come on, Karl!” That was Sapnap now, giving the biggest smirk as he wrapped his arms around Karl from behind him. “Just ten more minutes? Please?”
They were in a field, having a picnic. There was only the dessert left now, just small fruit tarts that Niki had made for them this morning.
“Fine,” Karl sighed, chest feeling light as his fiancés cheered, “but only because I like you.”
He pretended to glower at them, though he dissolved into giggles as they laughed. He really loved the humans, and he’d accepted their proposals with enthusiam.
He just worried how they’d feel when they saw how he usually was.
His thoughts were interrupted by a hissing sound, and Karl zoned back in with wide eye on a creeper set to explode behind his beloved fiancés. Time seemed to slow and he shouted a warning before everything around him shifted.
His human size slipped between his fingers like water and he curled his body over Quackity and Sapnap, shielding them and smacking away the creeper with a hand. It exploded in the air a short distance from his hand, the giant flinching
Adrenaline pumped through him and he could feel himself shaking from the nerves. He let out a shaky sigh, leaning back and sitting on his knees, planting the balls of his feet behind him and uncovering his fiancés.
He looked down at the two with a relieved smile. They were okay, But that smile slipped as what he’d done caught up to him, and he saw the look on their faces.
They looked terrified, and they stumbled away from him. They got out of his shadow, squinting as the sun finally reached their eyes directly.
He moved before thinking about it, blocking their path with both hands. And then he took in how they screamed, and how they looked at him like he was some kind of monster.
And it hurt.
“Let us go!” That was Sapnap, pulling Quackity closer to himself protectively.
“Fine! Leave! See if I care!” Karl withdrew his hands quickly, blinking away the moisture that was gathering in his eyes. He pulled all of his limbs close to himself, hugging his knees to his chest and resting his chin on them.
“Wh-Who... What are you?” That was Sapnap again, and he sounded... well, scared, upset... pissed even. “What did you do to Karl?”
“I..” Karl frowned slightly, feeling overwhelmingly confused and largely out of place. “You think.. I’m, uh,” a short laugh, humorless, left him, “I am Karl.”
Silence answered him. The two humans seemed to converse quietly before Sapnap sounded panicked  and shook his head slightly. Karl fought the urge to lean in and listen, heart twisting with something akin to jealously, oddly enough. Sapnap tried to pull Quackity back as he walked closer to Karl, who slowly lifted his head as he eyed his fiancé.
“Karl?” Quackity’s eyes searched the brunet’s face, as if making sure that every detail was as it was supposed to be. That this was truly his beloved Karl. “It’s really you?”
At his nod, Sapnap crept slowly closer as well, looking up at him through the black hair hanging in front of his eyes. Both of them seemed to be jittery, but seeing their fiancé looking upset like this tugged at their heart, size be damned.
“You’re... you’re not running.” Karl observed, moving slowly and shifting to sit with his legs crossed as he leaned forward. His fiancés, for their credit, didn’t move away more than a few steps. “Um, surprise?” He tried, though that barely got him a snort before he was fiddling with his hands anxiously. “This is, uh... a lot, huh?”
“That’s one way to put it.” Sapnap chuckled, and it wasn’t a forced sound, nor mocking, to Karl’s relief.
“For sure,” Quackity agreed with a smirk before looking up to Karl, “is this why you’ve never stuck around for a long time, then?”
Karl felt his face warm slightly, and he smiled, all kindness and love and soft edges. “I figured I might freak you guys out. I was going to tell you at some point, I swear, it’s just... Well, you know how you reacted when you first saw me like this.” A saddened chuckle left him, one that was forced and clearly trying to lighten the mood despite how much their fear had cut into him. “I’m not that scary, am I?”
“No!” Both of his fiancés were quick to try to comfort him. It was sweet, that even though they were obviously nervous around him, they wanted to assure him that everything was okay.
“But,” Karl winced, “you wanted to get away from me. And I’m not mad!” He assured them of that quickly, not wanting them to think that. “And I would never ever hurt either one of you. I love you both so much.” He worried his bottom lip between his teeth, glancing down at his beloved fiancés. “But I.. um, it’s okay if you don’t want to be together anymore, I understand.”
“Karl,” Quackity was talking lowly, deliberately as he worked through whatever hw was trying to say in his head, “we both love you. Just because you’re a little bigger doesn’t change that.” Then, almost as an afterthought, though an affectionate one, he added, “Nimrod.”
“Yeah, honestly we were both worried that you’d found another man, or something.” Sapnap gave him a big smile, full of warmth and love that looked so strange from how Karl was seeing it now. “But Quackity’s right; we obviously still love you and we can work through.. whatever this is. Can you explain?”
Karl let out a happy little noise he couldn’t quite place and nodded, scooping up his fiancés in cupped hands and bringing them a bit closer to his face. He didn’t feel how they’d flinched, startled at the quick movement, just observing them and marveling at how small his humans were.
And then he was rambling about something, and walking toward his own home that was at the edge of the SMP. He talked about how this was his natural size, and it had always been, but drinking a potion--the recipe of which he’d stumbled on on a late night adventure--made him human sized.
And that was how he’d originally met his beloved fiancés, mesmerized by the human civilization he found himself in. But he’d discovered that he could only hold that human form for so long before his body started to fight against it to return to its natural state.
But as he rambled on and on, he glanced down at his boys, and his heart softened. They looked.. comfortable in his hands.
A warm, protective feeling settled over his heart, and he silently vowed that he’d keep them safe.
No matter what.

Warnings for fear, slight swearing Word Count ~650
------My Little Boy------
Tubbo and Ranboo reached the edge of one of the many crimson forests in the Nether, sighing in relief as they spotted a portal up ahead.
"Hell yeah! It's too hot for this, Boo"
"I know, Bo." Ranboo gave his platonic husband a smile and placed a hand on his shoulder. "But we've got all the blaze rods and everything else we needed. We shouldn't have to come back for a while."
Tubbo hummed in response and they began to walk toward the portal, the purple glow casting an odd coloring on the surrounding area. They stepped in, feeling the magic of the portal as they were transported back home.
They walked into their house, Tubbo heading ahead of Ranboo to organize the things they'd gathered.
"I'll go check on Michael while you do that, then." Ranboo gave Tubbo a small smile and walked up a flight of stairs, navigating their home and coming to stop by his son's door. He knocked on it softly. "Michael? We're home!"
All he heard from the other side of the door was the sound of a soft crying, and Ranboo felt his pearl shift as he felt himself teleport directly into the room, looking around as his paternal instincts screamed at him to help.
The problem was, he couldn't see his son.
Panic gripped his chest. Where was his son?!?
And then he turned, and he saw a small figure on his son's desk. It took longer than he'd like to admit to realize the following: the figure was alive, the figure was his son, his son looked terrified.
Ranboo stepped forward numbly, though he stopped in his tracks as his son scrambled away from him. His son was scared. His son was scared of him.
It twisted something unpleasantly in his chest, but he slowly walked forward, hands out placatingly. He knelt in front of the desk to be more eye-level with the tiny zombified piglin.
"Hey, Michael." He gave the kid as gentle a smile as he could manage and tried to ignore how his child cowered away from him with a sniffle. “What happened, bud?”
And then his son was stammering and, although the words were rushed and stumbling and didn’t make much sense, Ranboo gathered that “the green man” had done this, or had at least had something to do with this. He felt the anger bubbling in his stomach, yet he kept a gentle smile as he coaxed the little boy into his hands.
“Let’s go see Papa, okay? We’ll figure out how to fix this, I promise.” His heart softened and twisted simultaneously as he saw Michael prepare himself to step onto his hands. “That’s it,” he gave an encouraging smile, “you’re very brave.”
His little boy gave him a big smile at that, and fully shifted into Ranboo’s hands. Ranboo could feel his son trembling as he straightened himself, standing carefully and murmuring reassurances to his son, his little MIchael.
Fury churned in his gut as he slowly carried his boy downstairs to his husband. He paused outside of the storage room. He looked down at his trembling son and held him close to his chest, shushing him gently at the panicked noises.
“Are you ready to see Papa?” The little boy gave a shaky nod, though he was obviously nervous and still (quite understandably) afraid of everything around him. “We can wait if you need to.”
“No.” The piglin shook his head, looking determined as he looked up at the Enderman hybrid. “Wanna see Papa...”
“You’re being so brave,” Ranboo murmured to his pride and joy, “I love you.”
“Love you, Dad.”
And Ranboo gave another reassuring smile before knocking on the door, his husband answering and looking to Michael with wide eyes.
Oh yeah, there’d be hell to pay.

Warnings for cursing, injuries, fear Word Count ~900
------The Dare------
Sapnap and George were chatting idly as they walked to a nearby town. The path was nothing special, just one that was created by so many people walking it so frequently. It was in an open field, which most people enjoyed because it meant that there was plenty of sunshine and no mobs could creep up on you.
These two just used it because they were used to it, and it was an easy path.
But today was a bit different, and Sapnap stopped suddenly, George bumping into his back. He opened his mouth to ask what was wrong when Sapnap suddenly turned to him, pushing his black hair out of his face and grinning mischievously at him.
“George,” he glanced over at the forest on the other side of the field and grabbed his arm, “George, that’s the forbidden forest they were talking about the other day.”
“…yes?” He had no idea where this was going.
“I dare you to go in.”
“What? No, you don’t even know what’s in there.”
“Come on, George, look,” Sapnap shook George’s arm slightly, eyes pleading, “what if we go together? It’ll be safer with the two of us. We can watch each other’s back!” Several moments of silence stretched and George seemed to still be a bit hesitant. “Please?”
“Fine,” He sighed and pulled his arm out of Sapnap’s loose grip and began walking toward the dark forest, “let’s go then.”
Sapnap let out an excited shout and George rolled his eyes, but it was fond. They’d been friends for a long time, after all. He was used to the raven-haired boy’s antics.
Before long, they had made it to the forest, and walked in. It looked…relatively normal, to be entirely honest. It just wasn’t very well-lit, which was maybe the biggest difference, but that was likely due to the thick canopy that the leaves formed high above their heads. They didn’t think much of it, and were starting to get bored of being there when Sapnap felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, crying out.
“Sapnap?” George, turned around, eyes widening at the sight of the arrow sticking out of his friend. Over his shoulder he could make out the pale skull of a skeleton as it loaded another shot. “Shit, come on, let’s go!”
He pulled his friend a bit and started making his way toward a clearing he could see up ahead, letting go of Sapnap for a moment to go and check up ahead. He heard a hissing sound and a startled shout from Sapnap before hearing a loud boom and being thrown across the clearing. His body ached and he sucked in a breath through his teeth as he tried to sit up.
He felt dizzy and his vision darkened, which he attributed to his injuries, especially as his head began to throb. And then he heard a rumbling voice muttering something above him that sounded vaguely concerned before he lost consciousness.
Sapnap rushed forward as a giant suddenly came through the trees, kneeling by his friend and scooping him into his palm. “Hey!” He faltered as the giant turned to look at him, eyes wide and body shaking. He tried and failed to be intimidating, voice quavering and cracking: “What, um, what are you doing?”
The giant cocked its head, expression hidden behind a light wooden mask, a smile charred into it. It was eerie, and it put him even more on edge as the giant reached forward for him. He froze, sucking in a stuttering breath as a finger brushed against his back, flinching away with a hiss as it jostled the arrow still embedded in his shoulder. The hand retreated quickly, and the one holding an unconscious George was pulled close to its chest.
“I want to help you,” The giant was saying, and now that Sapnap was paying attention more, it sounded like he was actually being genuine. He focused on what he could, despite the pain in his shoulder and the surreal nature of the experience.
“Help?” Sapnap took a slow step forward, concern for his best friend driving him to be a bit more courageous even as his vision felt blurred and he began to feel nauseated. He swallowed and motioned vaguely toward the giant with the dull sword in his offhand. “Bullshit, just-“ he blinked hard a few times, his body feeling heavy, “just let me..”
And suddenly the feeling of gravity hit him all at once and he was falling, the sword slipping from his hands. He heard a soft exclamation of surprise and there was movement before he landed on something warm and leathery.
“I gotcha.” He vaguely registered that he was in the giant’s hand before he was being lifted, rolling with a groan to lay on the opposite side of his shot shoulder. Was the arrow poisoned? Or had he simply lost that much blood to feel like this?
“Do.. Do whatever you want with me.” He told the giant, panting and trying (and failing) to keep his eyes open more than a crack. “Just don’t hurt George. Please.”
The giant shushed him softly. “You’re gonna be okay, I promise. I’m not going to hurt either one of you, I swear.”
And what else could Sapnap do but believe him? The world shifted as the giant stood and began walking and Sapnap felt unconsciousness claim him as the world passed by.

Techno and Wilbur with 20?
Sorry that this took so long! I'm working on a ton of thing rn but I hope you enjoy! This turned out way angstier than I intended but ahhh hope it's good enough!
Prompt from here! ( prompts are currently closed but I'll reopen them soon I promise :] )
Warnings for swearing, injuries, fear, keeping a person against their will, angst Word Count ~1100
------Like a Rat in a Trap------
When Wilbur had begun his day, he hadn’t really planned on getting caught. Not that any sane borrower would plan on it, but still, it completely threw off his life plans. Those consisted mostly of just staying hidden and staying alive, but who cares about details?
It started when he ventured into the human’s bathroom, into the cabinet under the sink. He needed to get more floss to make rope with, and it seemed like a safe bet to do it now. It was well past midnight, likely around 4 in the morning. But in the darkness of the space under the sink, Wilbur couldn’t see much.
This usually wasn’t much of an issue; Wilbur knew the path by heart now, so he’d be able to get through and to the cabinet door without an issue. But as he neared the door, he was stopped as something threw him off balance and onto his side, hearing a loud snap echo in his ears and feeling weight on his leg.
There was a moment of pause where Wilbur thought hey, that sounded a lot like a mouse trap, and then the pain started. It felt like his leg was on fire and it hit him all at once. He was screaming before his brain caught up, and even as it did, he found he couldn’t stop. He shoved his hands over his mouth, willing himself to shut up, shut up, shut UP! before the human woke up and came to investigate.
But god, that was so hard to do. His face was soaked with tears and he drew in shaky breaths between sobs.
And then, as if things couldn’t get worse for him, he felt vibrations of footsteps, and they were getting closer. No, no no, no no no no no. The sound of the light being flicked on was the only warning that Techno got before the cabinet door opened and light flooded into the dark space. He cursed and removed his hands from over his mouth, pained whines and gasps leaving him. And then he steeled himself, and moved quickly, reaching for the metal bar that was on his ankle, trying to pry it off of himself and failing to do so.
A cry escaped him as the human reached for him, and he flinched as a rumbling voice said something, but the cloud of terror in Techno’s brain didn’t allow him to actually decipher it. But it sounded panicked, for some reason.
Another whimper escaped him as the human moved his hand back closer again, and Wilbur shielded his head with his hands, curling into himself as much as he could. And then, he felt more pressure on his ankle and he instinctively tried to jerk away, biting back another cry as it sent another wave of pain up his leg. The human grumbled again, sounding displeased, and then, a moment later, the weight was off of him.
His head shot up in shock, but it meant that he saw the hand coming. It didn’t matter; he couldn’t go anywhere, couldn’t move fast enough, and the hand wrapped around him.
It was surprisingly gentle, with obvious care taken to avoid his limp ankle yet keep him firmly in his hand. He was sprawled on his back, a thumb bigger than his torso gently pinning him down and lifting him into the air. Wilbur blinked spots out of his vision as he was lifted, and his vision slowly refocused on the human holding him. His body was wracked with trembling. He tensed as he felt the vibrations of the voice as the human spoke.
This time, he actually made out what the human was saying, even with his mind fuzzed with panic and pain, and it sounded distant despite the proximity.
“I’m so sorry.” The voice was monotone, but no less genuine than one would expect. “I didn’t think – I mean, you’re definitely not a mouse, and you’re a tiny person.” A sharp laugh that made Wilbur flinch escaped the pink-haired human. “I’m not entirely sure I’m not dreamin’. Or hallucinatin’. Maybe I’ve just been awake for too long.”
“I-I’m real,” Wilbur found himself saying with a shaky voice, “please don’t hurt me. My foot, I can’t move it.” He could feel the panic bubbling up inside of him again as the human began walking, jostling him and pulling a whimper from this throat. He heard the human click his tongue in concern before he was placed onto a counter.
“I think it’s broken.” The human was saying, pushing his pink hair out of his face as he leaned a bit closer. “I’m really sorry about that. I’ll fix it, I promise.” He gave the borrower a considering look for a moment before pulling out his phone.
“Wh-what’re you doing?”
Techno glanced up at the boy on his counter, frowning slightly. “Figurin’ out how to reset your bones. I think it was a clean break, so it shouldn’t be too difficult.”
“Don’t!” The little dude sounded panicked again, not that he had ever really calmed down, but still. “I’ll be fine, just let me go.”
“Listen,” Techno leaned a bit closer, and Wilbur cringed away as much as he could, “it’s not safe for you to not have a functional foot. I’ll fix it and keep an eye on you until you recover.”
“But-“
“No.” Techno said sharply, and it almost made him feel guilty with how the little guy flinched. But it was the tone that said ‘that’s it’ and ‘that’s final’ and the little humanoid just ducked his head. “I’m sorry, but I need to fix this.”
He reached forward and hushed the borrower as he tried to protest, and before long, the bone was reset.
“You still need to stay off of it, okay?” Techno was saying, and the little guy died nothing for a second before immediately getting to his feet and trying to run. He stumbled almost instantly, and Techno steadied him with a finger. “Hey, what did I say? Listen, I’m not above sticking you in a jar if I have to.”
Wilbur fell silent at that, slumping defeated back onto the counter.
“So, what?” He challenged weakly. “I’m like, your petor some shit?” He spat the word and continued, trembling. “Or some kind of pity project?”
Techno let out a sigh, loud and long, as he fixed the borrower with a stare.
“It’s just until your foot is healed properly,” Wilbur pressed his lips into a line at that, “I swear.”
And Wilbur just had to hope that the human wasn’t lying
