I'm thinking about Tank/Sweetheart friendship again. I'm thinking about Sweetheart who runs into a busy patch with their work and struggles to sleep fully at night. To be honest, all of it! Especially, I think, not getting embarrassed at my own writing. I feel like I just need to start learning how to take a more objective view, instead of trying to refine, refine, and refine.

Another thing I would like to work on is my atmosphere! I hope to add more atmospherism into my writing, as some of my favorite authors do (a great example being @anya-dev and @manonamora-if, especially their game DOLOS)!

You know how much I love the club scene in season 1 of Euphoria? I don’t care, it’s my favourite scene from the whole season. Jules just dancing in the club with her little Misa Amane hair. The way Nate *appears* and approaches Jules in the crowd, saying her name, and you can hear it so clearly. When I first watched it, I was so confused. I was like “why is she thinking about him, after figuring out he catfished her and knowing what a dick he is?” I was seriously so baffled. I thought she would be over it, I didn’t even know what to think. Also *the cover of THAT song*!!! Her makeup! His!! I thought that I never want him to look any other way.

!!! Phantom Nate claiming she texted him, the conversation sort of quickly escalating to where an unnerving quality enters his voice - “are you here alone?” Her turning away from him sort of frantic, with Nate stopping her - it’s kinda demanding, it’s weird, creepy. But not completely unlike him. AHHHH. And the music is like a *pulse.* “I’m scared of you Nate” said plainly. Immediately followed by phantom Nate apologising for hurting her and calling her the most beautiful person he’s ever known. Saying that he’s Tyler - as if that makes any sense. It’s nothing like how he is with her in real life. “I’m the person that you fell in love with.” Her brain trying to subconsciously fix it so she can be with him. And he’s like breathing in her ear in an intense and sort of gross way. She slams him to the ground, the floor looks like it’s made of lights. Jules says she wants to kill him and he responds while smiling satisfactorily that he’s all hers.

Then they FUCKING KISS, and Jules’ partner switches from Anna to Nate and back. (I wont forget her name either, due to the vulnerable: “Jules, are you in love with Anna?” that Rue utters. Oh my god, it drives me crazy.) Jules face slaps phantom Nate in the blue light of the club, calling him a pussy and a bitch “and I wish the whole fucking world could know.” while he is making *all* the noises. Cut to sex scene. The lights keep flashing and changing. Then Jules is laying with Rue and Rue murmurers “you know this isn’t gonna end well?” as she kisses Jules’ face, which screws up in pain in response. Bro, it’s just beautiful. Anytime Nate and Jules are brought up in relation to one another after the first season, I’m usually struck with a sense of surprise.
