Go Rush Villain Dating Sim!AU

I probably sound like a broken record by now: Thank you all so much! While I did publish some writing online before, this was a huge step out of my comfort zone and every comment or even just a like made (makes) my day so much brighter. My writing is way more personal to me, so this means a lot.

For our deer Queen of Phaser simps, let me officially thank you for inspiring me to make this au. If you still plan to do your White Day story, I would be very happy to read it, but no pressure. ^^

But let's get into some comments and maybe unasked questions to this au:

What would have happened, if you declined our very charming and innocent men their offer? Well... I can't give you a definite answer. I'm (personally) very tired of MCs being the innocent, naive little person who can do no wrong and was corrupted into doing very, very bad things. But I do know that a lot of people actually like this trope (and all power to you, if you do). Therefore, I decided to avoid giving the MC any definition of a character, so you, as the reader, can decide whether the MC was actually corrupted by the specific man, or was pulling the strings all along for their own personal gain. I'm not sure I fully succeeded with all of them, but I think I came close. (Though I'm glad we all agree that MC dragged a certain someone to therapy.)

Something I just think is "funny" to mention, is that I pushed Yudias in this au around like a punching bag. If he was not somewhere in the back-/foreground, he was at least mentioned or referenced in the text. Except with the Ryugu brothers, because I don't think they were ever too much involved, except for a few moments. I feel like the Ohdo family took on a greater role in the fifth arc.

Will I be writing more of this au? I don't think so. On one part, I'm getting a lot more busy in the next month(s) in the writing department, and on a different part, I personally am not too invested in all of them. And although I'm invested in Tremolo, I will not be writing any romance or what not about him. Period. Friendships I would write without question, he deserves and needs them. ... Though, I don't think I need to mention the other dragon in the room.

Heat Death

White noise. A plethora of nothing. Steadily spilled into this world of dreams. Lulling others into a false sense of security. Broken by a few chosen ones. The distortion formally known as the Space-Time began to disappear. Inverted colours of white and black-green faded. Turning black as the night. Until it flashed white.

Mellowing out, the mass of white shattered into thousands, no, millions of tiny pieces. Glowing and twinkling like stars. Filling the void with the chaos of life. Moving. Twirling around you like dancers attending a ball. Similar to planets forced into an orbit around their mother star. Comparable to the arms of a spiral galaxy.

As if colliding with the gravitational force of a different galaxy of its kind, the stars were pulled from their natural course. Following their path, you were drawn along. The feeling of weightlessness hit you. An endless void stretched out below you. To all sides. Unable to control your road, you moved with the twinkling stars.

The end of the tunnel formed by the light ahead of you was dark. A circle with no end. Like the time altering black hole, escape was impossible. Then, it changed. Something took shape inside the blackness. At first it was the crystal of bright blue. Shortly after the stone of gold. Painted with red. A figure dressed in white stared at the closed doors. Slowly turning toward your approaching form. Smiling.

On cue, the speed of the stars slowed down and so did you. Accumulating between the object and behind the man. Unlike you, who only halted shortly in front of the person, who seemingly had asked for your presence. Only then did the rectangular appearance of the stars strike you as odd. Those were no stars, but cards forming orderly rows. Cards formerly known as people. People you had known. Names and faces. Now reduced to a two dimensional space.

“And so, the player, having experienced five different roads appears before their final suitor!” Spreading out his arms as if to embrace you, his smile never faltered. “What kinds of relationships have you envisioned with those lost to the narrative? Or perhaps you have skipped past all of them? Has your end goal always been me?”

A chuckle rippled through the nothingness. Green eyes fully fixating onto you as he held out his hands. Light spread out from a singular centre. Blue and purple circled it like the cards had you earlier. “No matter how you ended here with me.” He said with Andromeda and Milky Way reflecting in his eyes. “By supporting those who came before, you supported me in turning them into cards. But playing a game for two alone beneath the stars seem unfitting to me now. Would you not say the same?”
