When Marnie Was There is so them coded. Nora and Åse often met up at night and took boat trips on the lake. I also think they met in a manner very similar to the the movie as well.

I wanted to upload this on youtube but copyright wasn't happy about that so it'll just have to go here. Ive not had a lot of energy lately and I'm generally struggling with some art block here and there but I'm happy i managed to finish this in the end.

Hi again! Long time no see on this blog, huh.

I'm on summer break now and I'm trying to get back into drawing again, so here's a very rough painty sketch of @genioblancoo's OC Marlowe ^^ I hope this is OK - I really liked the red suit you drew her in once.

Once I've gotten a bit more warmed up, I'm planning to finally complete the rest of my requests =) Shouldn't have too much longer to wait now!

The first and last time Åse ever drank.

I imagine Zib was finishing of a bottle of whiskey or something and offered Ace some thinking it would be less depressing than sitting on the floor alone. He would be very wrong, but now Ace is crying and he feels responsible because he offered Ace the alcohol in the first place.

Ace has tried alcohol in the past but never made it past taking one sip and then spitting it out. He doesn't like the taste. this is the first time he tried sticking with it and considering the hangover he had the morning after he feels no need to do it again.

~Helpful/Unhelpful Questions and Answers: Irene edition~

What time does your main character go to bed?: She’s a night owl, so she usually stays up late most nights. Probably like 12 - 1! Mordecai is always trying to get her to sleep earlier, but she loves the quiet the night brings!

What time do they usually get up?: Depends on what’s going on that morning! But 7-8 am to get ready for work! If there’s a pickup, she gets earlier.

Can your main character microwave popcorn correctly?: I’m not sure if microwave popcorn was a thing yet? But if it is, she’d be better good at it! But Mordecai tells her she shouldn’t eat it cause of the ingredients. She continues to eat it to spite him.

Has your main character ever put an orange slice in their mouth and smiled?: Oh definitely! She loves to do it to scare Mordecai! He thinks it’s immature and is scared she’ll choke, but she only did that once!

How many steps do you think your main character walks in a day?: Depends! If she’s hanging out at the speakeasy with little work, not that many between going between the bar, Atlas’s office, and Mordecai’s office! If it’s a heavy work day, probably a lot! Doing pickups and missions and etc etc.

What kind of coffee do you think your main character would order?: Something sweet! With a little foam design on it! But she’s forbidden to drink coffee, at least the Little Daisy Cafè’s coffee. Don’t wanna go through that again!

In need of help

I have explained this on my Bluesky and Twitter, but there's also an explanation on my ko-fi.

But yes. I am in desperate need for tooth care, and sadly it costs a lot in my country, and I don't want my dad to pay for something like this when he already pays for everything else, because guess what, I'm still jobless and every job offer keeps getting rejected, so please even if it's not a lot, I would appreciate if anyone could spread the word around for this.
