they're there for you the entire time, if you get nervous or have to do something you really would rather not do, they're there to help you through it in any way they possibly can; holding your hand, sitting next to you, rubbing your back/arm/hand, idly messing with your hair, just in some way touching you in a very helpful grounding way.

imagine singing karaoke with your f/o(s)! its either the best or worst singing you've ever heard in your life and there's a whole crowd of people laughing with you and them but you cant seem to stop smiling because you're just with them and its the best the feeling in the world.
