Shout out to the selfshippers who can't and/or struggle to gush about their f/os. Whether it's because you feel like people are annoyed and don't want to hear it, or you just can't find the words to do so. Not being able to gust about your f/o doesn't mean you love them any less, and they love you regardless of if you can gush about them or not

they like you belly hair/happy trail, your hairy legs and thighs, you hairy arms, your hairy face, your chest hair, even if you have back hair or any hair in places most people wouldn't expect to see hair on.

if you choose not to shave, they don't care and encourage you to keep it if it makes you comfortable and/or you cant be bothered. they'll rub the hairy parts of your body, liking how fuzzy/soft/scruffy it is. they won't flinch or be disgusted if they touch it. they won't care if they feel it on their face or any other part of their body.

if you DO shave it, they'll help you with it, getting parts that'd usually be too difficult to reach and fully shave. they'll help make everything even and clean. and after you've washed up they'll put their cheeks on the newly shaved spots and feel the fuzziness tickle them and it'll make their heart flutter hard

they're there for you the entire time, if you get nervous or have to do something you really would rather not do, they're there to help you through it in any way they possibly can; holding your hand, sitting next to you, rubbing your back/arm/hand, idly messing with your hair, just in some way touching you in a very helpful grounding way.

F/o’s who will reassure you it’s ok, that will hold your head to their chest. F/o’s who hug you, a comforting weight to you, or Vice versa. F/o’s who understand you’re so upset you’re not hungry anymore, but will gently guide you to eat.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but your F/O would never lie to you. Even if they're a known liar in their canon, they do their best to be nothing but honest with you. If a lie slips out, they apologize, and correct themselves. Or they show you the truth with their actions.

They would never cheat on you or replace you. They would never do things behind your back and pretend that they didn't. Your F/O is absolutely, 100%, honest and direct with you.

Imagine your f/o and you cuddling after you've had a bad day.

Their arms wrapped tightly around you, you can feel the warmth of their skin pressed lightly into yours.

Their fingers curl around wherever theyre at as well, an extra way to keep you close, to keep you with them, to keep you safe.

They press soft kisses into your forehead whenever you seem as though you're starting to feel worse again.

Maybe you're watching a movie or something to help you calm down, but you notice they keep sneaking glances at you. They need to make sure you're ok.

If you end up falling asleep there, imagine them (if you're smaller than your f/o) gently picking you up and carrying you back to your room. When they lay you in the bed, they do it softly, making sure you're comfortable. They pull the blanket over you, and maybe give you another forhead kiss. Or (if you're bigger than your f/o) them quietly slipping out from beside you, grabbing a blanket to drape over you. Maybe they grab a pillow too, carefully lifting your head just enough to slip it under.

imagine them putting their arms tightly around you in an embrace to calm you down, telling you that it'll all be okay and that they're here for you no matter what.

they don't force you to speak or explain what happened if you don't want to, and they patiently wait by your side until you're ready to speak with them. and after you've calmed down, they do something to help you feel better! whether that's taking you out to a place you like to take your mind off of things, doing a hobby the both of you find comfort in, or just snuggling together in silence. whatever they can do to make you feel better, they'll do it for you.
