Reunion Station || Professor Layton NWOS Fan Comic

I know in the trailers Layton flies into Steam Bison on an air ship, but I wanted to draw them at a train station instead

Credit goes to @speedygoreman for the initial idea (Thank you for letting me tackle the concept :>) All done traditionally using Ink and Gouache/Acrylic Gouache paint. Speech bubbles were added in post. Also!! Added some people's PL characters into the background shots!! Hope yall can spot them <3

Based on a moment on Bluesky where Simon had a breakdown about his death.

Curse of being stolen from your timeline and informed that within a few months you were going to die like. As soon as you got there. Like you said Hi and suddenly someone (Randall) is telling you you’re supposed to be dead.

In all actuality, this came about because he realized he’s not going to see his 21st birthday. :) Poor poor University Desmond Sycamore was dropped unceremoniously into Simon’s locked hotel room, and was mistaken for Hershel by the very dazed and delirious Simon.

The whole interaction was phenomenal and I keep rereading it. Hurts real good :,)
