how would you rate the resident evil films/shows, not counting the animated ones?

Anderson Films: -1000000000000000/10. I hate these movies with a passion, and I hate how it colored the franchise for people who were not as familiar with the games. Anderson is a jackass and he hated Leon 'cause of his "floppy hair" and that's a large part of why the movies are so fucked up. The only good things I have to say about this franchise are 1. Michele Rodriguez in the 1st movie was very hot and 2. Wentworth Miller (a gay man) playing Chris 👍 that's pretty much all I got. These weren't really RE movies, they were an even shittier imitation of a Michael Bay movie with the RE name slapped on it more or less.

Raccoon City Movie: 8/10. Does it have a lot of issues? Sure. But was it funny? Absolutely. I love Avan as Leon, I think they did a great job. I grew up with Avan as Beck on Victorious so I was gonna watch that movie no matter what. It gets an extra point for the scene of the explosion at the end because for whatever reason, it makes me cackle. This movie is especially funny to watch when not sober on a weekend with your roommates.

That one live-action Netflix series about the Weskers: 7/10?? It had an interesting plot I guess. Very memeable scenes. I don't think it was really an RE series, it just kinda borrowed concepts and characters from RE but it was entertaining at least, which is more than I can say for the Anderson Films. It gets a bonus point for one of the main characters being queer.

New one that's coming out: -/10 it hasn't come out yet so I can't rate it yet but I'm not that excited. From what's been said about it so far, its literally just a zombie movie... that's it. It doesn't have any of the characters or anything in it, it seems, so its just a zombie movie that they're gonna market as an RE movie despite it (thus far) having nothing to do with RE.

The fact that you can't think of/headcanon Leon any other way than him being gay when you're asked a question regarding a straight relationship/dynamic he has with female characters, shows that you aren't capable of answering any question about him objectively because the actual canon Leon is something that you obviously hate and don't want to accept because you cannot self insert onto him, isn't it?
