(4+1) 4 times Grayson has almost died and one time he actually did🗣️
This looked cooler in my head ngl, and you can tell I lost motivation time to time.
All of these moments are canon but slightly made more dramatic:
Forever evil #1
Nightwing (2016) #40
Grayson #5
Nightwing (2016) #25
Forever evil #6

Dionysus watching the girl that already used to look like his mother, slowly but surely looking like his mother more and more (to the tiniest details) as time passes:
Ngl I’m so excited to read the chapter where percleia goes to Olympus with Artemis after carrying the sky. Like I’m imagining Dionynsis’s reaction to her looking like a 99% accurate copy of his mother to being similar to the meme of the woman sobbing and pointing at a cat who is Percy in this scenario.
The hair that now contains white strands. New scars that look so much like the scars he used to run his fingers on his mother when he was a child.
Ugh I can’t wait to see his reaction 👹
after the pit scorpion:
Dionysus: this is fine. This girl who looks like my dead mom now has the same scar that my mom would brush when she was anxious. This is fine
after titan’s curse:
Dionysus: this is not fine

Now, in one of the fics I read that you must eat it raw or like it gets poisonous (had something to do with stomach acid making it not poisonous but can't remember the exact wording or reasoning) when you cook it so it's solved. He does indeed eat them raw 😁😁
Now, I don't remember the fic but I'm half sure it's still being updated and if it is and it gets updated I will re-reblog to post the link... If it isn't getting updated and I manage to find it, I will re-reblog. Basically if I find it I'm giving it, no worries 👍
Think about how much Kai’s stomach must be made of steel rn living in Elden Ring he probably had to eat the monsters he killed considering there probably isn’t much agriculture in monster hell world.
Worse, he probably ate a lot of bugs too. The implications of 5 years there is kind of insane.
AGH SUCH A GOOD POINT! he’s gotta have that steel stomach to be surviving in that kind of environment. Ninjago monster hunter AU WHEN ??
But like seriously. He’s probably just scraping by trying to survive that hell. From what the trailer showed, it was clearly a hostile land. How much do we wanna bet the fur coat he wears is from a beast he hunted himself? Because he has to be resourceful and would use everything if he’s hunting his own food.
I honestly have no clue how long he’s trapped there… for his sake I hope it’s not the full time skip of after the merge… but we really have no clue at this point, at least that I know of. Someone correct me if wrong on that. But yeah…. He’s going through it.

The appreciation does not last long but dick will certainly make the most of it

I've seen a male Percy playing Persephone, and it was wonderful. Won't say no to this, though!
Hey - thought. You’ve already expressed your thoughts on Percy et al putting on a production of Epic: The Musical. What do you think would be the roles/reactions etc if they decided to put on Hadestown?
oh boy oh boy oh boy
Orpheus: Travis
Eurydice: Katie
Hermes: Percy
Percy only plays Hermes because no Hermes camper wanted to touch that role with a ten foot spear
just Percy in a waistcoat, portraying a psychopomp, narrating a very popular myth about a demigod, singing about how "it's a tragedy but we sing it anyway"

as someone on the board for a theater, here's how Camp would do it
the gods and the fates will be wearing modernish clothing (suits, waistcoats, dresses) to show that everyone is getting older, time is moving on, yet they're still singing the same old song.
all mortals wear chitons/peplos/tunics to show they are stuck in the confines of the story

Tim: You should tie your shoe before you fall.
Dick: Mm? Oh, thank—
Tim: *pushes Dick to knock him over*
Dick: *does not fall*
Tim: …
Dick: I’m embarrassed for you to be honest.
Tim: shut up.
Tim: *walks away to hide his shame*
Dick: tie your shoes!
Tim: I’m not falling for tha—*falls on his face* *rolls down the stairs* *tries to stand up* *trips again* *falls down another set of stairs* *tries to stand up* *falls down another-
Dick, leaning over the rails of the staircase: I’ll meet you down there! *calmly gets into the elevator and hums to the music*
Tim: *still rolling*
Dick: *steps out of the elevator and Tim finally rolls to a stop at his feet*
Dick, nudging Tim with the toe of his shoe: hey buddy. How ya feeling?
Tim: *breathless wheeze of defeat*
Dick: sounds about right.

Nico, Bianca and Hazel could be Hades taking inspiration from Perse too. Or, something of the sort at least. Personally I can definitely see Hades telling Perse about a beautiful mortal woman he found and maybe wanting to gift her children (may just want children himself) and maybe asking her to teach him how to OR asking for her help on creating said children OR asking for her to create children on his behalf and then blessing(?) the babies... Kind of like she creates a blank(ish) canvas (baby) and he gives it color. The children holding grudges could also be affiliated with the last one. They, angry for being unloyal, hold grudges(?). Though this could cause the things to be different like not just holding grudges at anything but only at people that were unloyal.
Also I can see Perse not minding Hades maybe... dating around(?) as long as no sex(?) happens. Honestly, at least maybe (if something similar to Persephone's case happens) when she's not around she doesn't mind? These are less likely of course.
Also it would be kind of funny if Hades did get married with Perse because Persephone and Perse's names are like so similar (obvi) and it's like he was destined to be with such a woman
I’ve made a unofficial list of pros and cons for each potential husband in the Kronides au
Zeus
Pros: he’s always making demigods, powerful, queen status, he might be willing to hear arguments out more.
Cons: cheating, horrible temper, he’s her brother/uncle
(I shall never be stop the Greek god incest joke)
Hades:
Pros: Queen status, less likely to cheat but-, everyone dies eventually so she would see her friends one way or another, good way to keep an eye on Tartarus. Great gift giver probably
Cons: harder to go help and change events due to distance, potential kidnapping? Hell eventually cheat for the di Angelo’s to be born, also a brother uncle
You may cause winter to never exist which means you’d kill frosty the snowman forever.
Apollo:
Pros: May actually stay loyal , you get to be passenger princess as much as you want, he’s hot (heh), he’d probably be the kind of partner who’d write love songs and make paintings of you. You’d have Artemis as a sister in law
Cons: All his lovers die tragically, gift of prophecy might be an issue if one wants to be sneaky, no Queen status, also a cousin,
Apollo is still definitely one of the best gods if she is going to marry anyone, problem is I don't think I can do anything that hasn't already been done better by other people. If you want peak Perpollo content, you'd read Of the Foundain by @chaoticdumbassrogue, though admittedly we'd miss out on Kronos tiring of marriage proposals.
Zeus is what I'd consider has the greatest potential for plot and angst, not to mention it's the one most of the commenters seem interested in, though it's obviously a less happy ending than Apollo.
Hades seems like a balance. By the way, if I was going to write that, I'd just say Kronos made winter (he governs both time and the harvests) and say Nico, Bianca and Hazel are born as Underworld spirits rather than to mortals.

Oh, I just thought about it. Maybe it's Prometheus who thought Perse to make Clay babies. Like he didn't necessarily teach her to make clay babies, but that's where she learned it from and then made her demigod children.
Would Perse Kronide be close to Prometheus?
Very much so. I'm imagining Prometheus as somewhat older than her, a kind of big brother figure when she is young, who offers guidance and knowledge. They work together to create and later protect humanity. Needless to say, he isn't getting chained up to any rocks in this AU. Perseleia will instead regard Prometheus as an honoured advisor and friend.
Side note, since the gods are going to be nicer to humanity as a whole, I'm having the release of evils into the world be a consequence of the Titanomachy rather than by tricking Pandora. Let's say that Kronos employed the divine equivalent of scorched earth tactics against the Olympians in an attempt to destroy their human and nature spirit allies.

Hellenic Methods of Veiling
This will be an on-going post where I’ll add more information as I come across it, but the point of this post is to try and define as many styles (and their names) of Hellenic veiling as possible. It’s as much for my own reference as for others. Because I’ll be adding, updating, and changing it over time.
The format will be:
Name of the veiling style
Description of the veiling style
Pictures
Himation
The himation is a large, rectangular piece of cloth that is worn as an outer garment and can be used to cover the head and hair. Men and women both would wear himations.

Kekryphalos
The kekryphalos is a type of caul worn by women. It’s secured around the front of the head, and then has a looser “pouch” type area near the back where the majority of hair is tucked inside the cap. It could be made of a wide-woven material giving it a net like appearance, or more tightly woven material. The material was most likely slightly elastic in nature, having some stretch to it.

Kredemnos
The kredemnos is a wide band of fabric, leather, or metal worn across the forehead. It may also have been called stlengis.

Krobylos and Korymbos
Krobylos and korymbos were popular Athenian methods of hair binding used by men and women, respectively. Hair was rolled into a knot atop the crown of the head and fastened with clasps. Some scholars believe the style may have been closer to a chignon which was secured with clasps.
(I can’t find a good image, either historical examples or modern recreations, the closest example I have is a chignon)
Mitra
The mitra is a broad band, often colored and patterned, which can be wrapped around the hair in many ways. It could be wrapped to completely cover the hair, or left open at the crown of the head with hair hanging out.

Sakkos
The sakkos is a tightly woven material worn over the head, covering the majority of hair. It’s constructed similarly to a bag or sack, and secured around the hairline. It can be decorated with a tassel at the back. The sakkos most likely had some stretch to the material.

Examples of Men
Bust of Pythagoras wearing what appears to be a mitra
Headband style of binding hair for men

I love this.
Anyway, he is not a good father as a whole, but he loves his dear daughter. He could not care for his other children but her, but his princess.
Also also,
Perse, to Kronos: "But daddy I love him!"
Kronos, not understanding how she could love her abuser: ???? And now he's manipulating you????
Okay, but I also imagine some time later (in a world where Perse is in love with Apollo) Perse would explain to him how Apollo treats her and blah blah blah and he actually supports her princess getting with Apollo. I feel like he'd actually like Apollo after learning the truth and maybe stalking him and learning the truth himself(?).
Apollo, learning someone actually fully supports his relationship other than his sister and mother: 🥺
Apollo, learning it's her father, and starting to cry: Thank you sir, I promise you won't regret this 😢😭😭😭
Kronos:
Kronos: At least he knows not to take it for granted 😒
A lover of the idea of Kronos as a good father, at least in the fics
I don't know if it's just me but I imagine Cronus as a good father to Percy and he loves that, to some extent, Percy is a great daughter and Cronus's princess, i.e. his favorite, so the reason he ascends is not because of something as banal as his revenge against his children, but rather it is based on two things: the first is that he is a jealous father and he heard in Tartarus that there is a god or several gods among them. His son Zeus and his grandson Apollo along with other gods do not want his daughter, his princess, to marry and he tries to rise in ancient Greece but fails which puts him in a bad mood. And he hears that Asta had children (Dionysus, Asclepius, and many more), which makes him angry because he thinks she is being forced or raped. Which makes him hold a great grudge against them, but he looks for a way to save both his daughter and his grandchildren from their evil parents. Second, when I heard that she died, I was in denial for a long time and Luke comes to say that he thinks he saw her and that she possibly believes in him and believes that she faked her death and supports him in the shadows because he is afraid of the gods so to defeat Olympus, no matter how far or how low he has to go, to save his princess, he will do it. PS: my language is not English, I'm using Google Translate for this, sorry if I don't understand it.

Before I'd just seen the person in the front but now looking at it, this seems like the person being eaten, and slowly transforming to a centipede.
Now what this may mean for Kai, I've no idea. But we'll see I suppose. June, please come faster.
feel free to toss a fridge at my head if i'm right but i cannot stop thinking about nonhuman kai... what are the conditions that could lead him to be targeted as per the lovely centipede mural
bug-lovers and entomologists and [squint] myriapodologists will hate me for making this assumption but also this centipede looks very evil so i won't listen. what if: the centipede needs an elemental master to reproduce (i mean. the hat? could be an indication? idk)
freaks like me, imagine it's like alien!! for normal people, the centipede must CATCH YOU and then put you in a cocoon, where (if you fail to escape) you will begin to METAMORPHOSISE into another centipede. and then you must continue the cycle: find another master, lure them to you, and put them in another egg.
tying into whatever kai saw in the phantasm caves. he narrowly escaped turning into a centipede but that fear probably still lingers somewhere

If Kai couldn't create fire, I would headcanon him eating most, or at least some of them raw. And then getting with the others and he just forgets and outs a whole uncooked something in his mouth and the others are just staring at him agape, when he realises and just dubekduekdbdkf
