a bit of info on working with archangels 🕯️
the archangels, and angels in general, are beings that will never intercede without your expressed consent! they believe in free will which means that they will only work with you, give you messages, etc., if you are open and willing to receive their divine messages.
a common misconception is that angels will only help those who are religious (i.e. christian, jewish, muslim) but that is not the case! angels have nothing but love for humans and nature so they aren’t tied to any specific religious affiliation, though they come from a more religious background.
each archangel, and angel, has their own areas of expertise when it comes to guidance but nothing is beyond them! so you can essentially reach out to any angel for anything and they will do their best to help you.
i’m going to briefly talk about seven of the main archangels and list some correspondences and offerings as well!
archangel michael - the great defender
archangel michael is the great defender of all that is good. he can be called upon for help with strength and courage as well as general protection.
he is associated with the sun tarot card

archangel gabriel - the messenger
archangel gabriel is a messenger who helps people learn how to communicate effectively. he can help you find the words you need to get your point across. he helps artists, writers, and teachers.
he is associated with the moon tarot card
offerings include: lavender, jasmine, lily, white candles, moonstone or clear quartz, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel uriel - the hermit
archangel uriel is a wizened hermit figure who helps us deal with feelings of loneliness that can become overwhelming at times. he helps us learn how to be alone without feeling lonely.
he is associated with the hermit tarot card
offerings include: sandalwood, frankincense, cinnamon, red or gold candles, citrine, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel chamuel - the peace bringer
archangel chamuels main mission is to bring peace to the world. you can call on him when you're suffering from anxiety or if you need help forgiving someone. he is especially helpful when it comes to relationship troubles.

Everyday witchy tips
Not everyone has time for daily spells or rituals, here are some witchy acts to incorporate a bit of magic into your day!
Glamour magic while getting ready for the day, while washing your face first thing in the morning imagine washing away all negative thoughts. Draw sigils with sunscreen/daycream/foundation on your face, incorporate color magic (eyeshadow, lipstick, nails). Braid your hair with an intention for the day (being protected against harm, attracting luck etc.)
Color magic while getting dressed; red for confidence and strength, yellow and orange for happiness and energy, green for attracting luck and abundance, blue for focus and communication, pink for (self)love, purple for intuition and wisdom, black for protection, white for purity and protection. Gold jewelry for the sun, succes and prosperity, and silver jewelry for the moon and intuition.
Drinking herbal tea, start the day with a warm cup of tea. This can be made with fresh herbs from the garden, or from tea bags. Stir clockwise with a teaspoon or the teabag it self to put an intention in your tea for the day.
Crystals in pockets, bags, even your bra. Choose an crystal for the day, charge it with it’s intention and carry it with you.
Shielding from negative energies, imagine being surrounded by a white light that protects you. Or have a short mantra that you can say to yourself or in your head when needed, this can be as simple as 'I am protected against negative energies in any shape or from'
Showering, washing any lingering energy, thoughts or negative feelings away from the day. If you have trouble imagining negative energy washing off you in a color, see the soap you are washing off as this energy. Watch it flow away from you into the shower drain.

i want to share a super easy energy clearing practice i do throughout the day!
you will need:
a rock that can be soaked in water. i use a river rock because of its nature of having been smoothed/ eroded by water (which is what this practice is based on)
a bowl of water. or running tap water if you're in a rush!
how it works
ask the rock permission first. explain what you want to use it for and the rock will be your willing helper! make sure it knows that you will cleanse it and thank it occasionally.
throughout the day whenever you feel anxious, stressed, or negative in any way- hold the rock in your hand. focus on all of that negative energy, picture it as any color that makes sense to you. imagine that negativity flowing from everywhere in your body into your arm, down to your wrist, your palm, then through you and into the rock. squeeze it tight and focus on your breathing and imagining the energy filling up the rock. once you feel ready, loosen your grip. relax your muscles. thank the rock, and go about your day feeling hopefully much better!
when you get home, sit in front of a bowl of water. hold the rock and calmly breathe. ask the water to help cleanse this tool. when you feel ready, drop the rock in the water. watch it sink. picture that color from earlier leeching into the water, moving from the rock and swirling away like food coloring. touch the rock if youd like, shake it in the bowl, stir the water with it. imagine the water eroding the negativity from the rock, and pay attention to when you feel it's "empty". at this point remove the rock, put it somewhere safe, and thank the water. dump the water down the sink (the water is full of bad vibes so i don't recommend using it for anything else).
and done! do this anytime youd like! do it on a day you know will be rough! do it before a ritual or tarot reading! this is easy, quick, and free!

Broke Witch Tips - Magic on a Budget
As capitalism sets its sights on the witchcraft community, it’s easy to get caught up in all the stuff that companies try to sell you.
Alas, not all of us have the money to spend on expensive items. If we're being honest, you probably don't need such items to begin with.
For those that are curious, however, let's talk about how to do magic on a budget.
First things first, reframe what you think magic is.
Magic is not what you buy.
It’s not pricey crystals, expensive altar tools, and pretty bottles. As fun as those are, they aren't necessary to practice magic.
All you need to create magic is yourself, your intentions, and your actions.
Still, I said I would talk about how to do magic on a budget, so here are some tips that I have picked up along the way as a broke witch.
Broke Witch Tips
Upcycle what you already have into magical tools. Plenty of the stuff you already own can be used for magic. Make a simmer pot in that old cooking pot. Use the kitchen spices as your herbs in spells.
Thrift stores are great for finding cool bottles and boxes to put your herbs and other magical items in. Also great for spell bottles/jars!
You don’t need every herb under the sun, many of the most accessible (and cheapest) herbs have similar, if not the same, correspondences as the expensive ones.
Buy herbs from the grocery store or farmers market, if possible.
If you have a green thumb, grow the herbs yourself!
Tarot cards can be expensive, but you can use a deck of regular playing cards for cartomancy if needed! There are also options such as tarot apps and websites that allow you to use their digital tarot decks for free.
Make your own tarot or oracle deck if you're artistic and have the time/energy to do so!
You don’t need to have an expensive cast-iron cauldron, just find a fire safe bowl or container. For me, I use a handmade bowl that I got at a fair in my hometown! Works like a charm.
The dollar store is a great place to find inexpensive candles, usually they’re tea lights but you might get lucky and even find some chime candles.
If you're working with deities: plenty of them like hand-made items for offerings! So you don’t need to go out and break the bank just to buy an expensive statue.
This is not a post to shame the folks who own expensive things for witchcraft. I’m sure most of us would agree that if we had the money to go all out, we certainly would! This is just a post for those of us that can’t afford costly goods but would still like to have physical items when practicing magic.
Feel free to add your tips for practicing low-cost magic!
Have a lovely day <3

What is Moon Water?
Moon Water is water that is charged by the moons energy.
What phases of the moon are best for what I need?
Full Moon
Power
Success
Charging Items
Goals
Waning Moon
Banishing
Releasing
Letting Go
New Moon
Fresh Starts
Cleansing
Setting Intentions
Waxing Moon
Planning
Growth
Taking Action
Where can I use Moon Water?
Moon water can be used in many places, and here are a few that are most common.
Spell Jars (Moon Water can be used for cleansing and protection)
Watering Plants (This comes in handy if you are a green witch)
Add it to your drinks {Only if you got it from bottled water or the normal water you drink} (It can help set your intentions, especially if you do stirring magic)
Wash your hands with it (This gives you a little boost of energy before rituals, or even daily tarot)
Moonlight bath
Cleanse/Charge Crystals {Make sure the crystals are water safe} (This cleanses and adds energy to your crystals)
You can even add it to watercolor paints
What Crystals can I use in Moon Water?
Any type of Quartz is water safe (Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, Amethyst)
Citrine, Green Aventurine, and Shungite are all water safe.
What if I want to use my moon water on a crystal that isn't water safe?
Well, you can just set the crystals around the glass of moon water for them to charge.
(Or you can still set your crystals in the moonlight to charge)
Crystals that go with the Phases of the Moon?
New Moon - Laboradite
Waxing Cresent - Tourmalinated Quartz
First Quarter - Carnelian
Waxing Gibbous - Smoky Quartz
Full Moon - Moonstone
Waning Gibbous - Green Aventuring
Third Quarter - Lapis Lazuli
Waning Cresent - Bronzite
If you have any questions on moon water, please let me know, and I'll answer them!!

Moon Phases
There are 12 Full and New Moons a year (13 every now and then due to calendar synchronisation - called a Blue Moon) this means there is no need to rush intentions and manifestations, spend time practicing, learning and getting things wrong.
New Moon
→ setting intentions and plans
Waxing Crescent Moon
→ relaxing into and accepting intention
First Quarter Moon
→ take action and push forward
Waxing Gibbous Moon
→ observe, align and trust your intention will form
Full Moon
→ harvest intention, reap rewards or accept intention was not the best for this time, take in the new energy
Waning Gibbous Moon
→ turn inwards and reflect on your intention, or be grateful for the outcome
Last Quarter Moon
→ release old or harmful energy holding you back and give back from your abundance
Waning Crescent Moon
→ reflect with thanks, rest mind body and soul, take peace in the emptiness
Merry meet,
Atti <3

Low Energy Witchcraft
I'm neurodivergent and i experience really intense burnout. I get to a point where I struggle to even get out of bed, take my meds, remember to drink water, let alone practice. But, when I want to practice i have a list of things i can usually do. Everyone's experiences with burn out/low energy are different so this list may not apply to you, and that's okay. Take what resonates, leave what doesn't and i hope you enjoy my silly little list :)
create a playlist and infuse it with an intention. eg, a money spell playlist filled with songs about wealth.
draw sigils with soap when in the shower. (you can also use a wet wipe if you can't shower)
found some juice? give it a little shake and use the ingredients as a spell.
have food that has grains as ingredients? wow! an abundance spell!
the classic add intention to your tea and coffee.
bind your hair. for me with is as simple as putting my hair in a ponytail.
watch a witchy video. while not technically practising witchcraft, sometimes all you need is to sit back and relax to connect with your practice.
when I have a decent amount of energy I'll grab a large pillar candle and carve sigils into it. I use it as a long-term spell; all I have to do to activate it is light the candle. I like to light one of these spell candles when I'm having a bad day.
if you're religious, pray. Even if you're lying in bed. Even if you haven't showered in a week. If it makes you happy and you can, do it
burn some insence! it smells good, you don't have to really worry about forgetting about it, it's good for cleansing. it's great!
take a nap with some crystals. any restorative crystals or calming crystals work great! just make sure that they aren't geodes or roughs. i'd hate for you to hurt yourself while sleeping.
if you don't have any crystals for your nap, set an intention instead. please let yourself rest.
It's important to remember that you're allowed to take breaks from your craft. If you're forcing yourself to practice when you have no energy because "that's what a good witch would do!" then you're probably going to make your situation worse. it's a great way to fall out of love with witchcraft. give yourself some grace. rest is infinitely more important than 1 full moon, 1 new moon, or missing your daily/weekly/monthly cleanse. You aren't a bad person if you don't pull your morning tarot card or check the astrology forecast for today. and you aren't a bad person if you miss your daily prayer. take care of yourself. your health is WAY more important than your craft. Go get a drink of water and take care of yourself <3

Types of water and their uses
A lot of witches use different types of water in their practices. Here are a few. And remember intention is very important.
Sun water - vitality, happiness, strength, positivity
Sun water is made by cleansing your preferred jar in your preferred method, filling it with water, and putting the jar out into the sun for however long you would like.
River water - moving on, changing, letting go, cleansing
River water is made by collecting water from a river in a jar that has been cleansed. (Boil before consumption.)
Rain water - growth, change, cleansing, protection
Put a preferred jar that has been cleansed out in the rain.
Dew water - beauty, glamours, love, fertility, calmness
Dew water is made by collecting dew in a cleansed jar. (Boil before consumption)
War water - used for hexes, curses, bad luck, general negativity
War water can be tailored to what you have on hand. You just want to put nasty shit in there or things like rusty nails, dead bugs, moldy things, vinegar. Do not consume this at all.
I hope this information helps some people. You can always use methods that work for you. Happy witching my friends !!!
