Why does bad skin happen to good people?

I’m just so tired of feeling shame and discomfort behind other people with “good skin”. I mean, who the hell said that NOT PERFECT skin IS BAD? Why should I drink all these pills, refuse to eat even a small part of delicious food (cause in most cases its unhealthy). In movies I always see only people with good skin, and if some of characters has a pimples or acne, he/she probably a villain (hello Disney). I’m already silent about the global impact of advertising. “You need that product, because your skin will be looks better. And good skin - is cool”. Instagram blogs about how to get out from acne. Pictures like “double tap for clear skin”. That’s all makes me crazy, cause I really don’t understand why people (mostly young) so crazy about that. I spent many years of my life on self-hatred, tears and rejecting myself. And only recently I began to move away from this. And started asking questions like: “why people think that acne is bad?” “Who said that?” I’m just really tired of this, and I still sometimes have moments when I hate myself. But I don’t want to whining. I want to find the source of the problem and uncertainty and solve it. But I’m want to share my thoughts with someone, and I’m really happy that now I can do this.

let girls be ugly ,let girls not care about their appearance, let girls be beautiful in ways that aren’t considered beautiful

I just wanna shout out all the brave acne sufferers out there- its a long, hard journey that tears you apart, but don’t let it break you. You are beautiful, I promise. I dealt with severe cystic acne for 3 years and now I have clear skin but just getting rid of the acne didn’t help recover the damaged self esteem I had. Please talk to me if you ever feel down because of your skin. From one acne sufferer to another :)

everyone is perfect in their own beautiful way- we just have to learn to own it :)
5 things to remind yourself everyday:
if you think someone looks pretty or extra nice today, tell them. some times, some people need a little bit of confidence boost or some cheering up to continue going on with their days!
there is no harm in saying no if you believe that the situation is becoming too uncomfortable. you are not obliged to say yes! and you have the right to only do things that you believe is safe for your mental health and well being.
stop interchanging sorry and thank you. instead of apologizing to someone for being late, say thank you for their patience to wait for you! there is a thin line between being grateful and feeling sorry and once you’ve learned how it works, you will become a better communicator and a better person in general.
always make an effort to be kinder in everything that you do! kindness is a choice and living your life in a much kinder way will make you feel more content. of course being kind does not necessarily only mean being kind to other people, it also means being kind to yourself.
instead of focusing on the whole picture itself, try to appreciate the tiny beautiful details about your everyday life. see how the sky changes its colors every now and then? appreciate it. observe how your streets are copper-colored because of fallen leaves. inhale the blossoms of your spring garden.
