We call ACOSF Nestaās book because it follows Nestaās character arc. ACOTAR 5 will be Elainās book because weāll be following Elainās character arc.
So do what you need to do to make peace with that, but commenting āweāll just have to wait for Azrielās book to see who he ends up withā aināt it. If heās there, itās because heās part of Elainās story. Youāre not getting an Azriel POV without our girl. Sorry! āš½

Azriel is awestruck by Elain the first time he saw her.
His thoughts are suddenly erratic. He wasn't expecting it. He was just coming here to meet the sisters, serve as a bodyguard. He didn't expect anything, if he were being honest. Feyre is nice. Pretty. Not his type though. Clearly Rhys is obsessed with her. Cassian thinks that they are mates and Azriel suspects the same. Feyre is off limits, even if there was a glimmer of attraction. So why would he think that her sisters would be different.
And then, the door opens and he sees this...perfection.
Exquisite.
Stunning.
And shockingly, horrifyingly...she is just his type. Brown eyes, deep and soulful. A river of golden curls. A soft body, still recovering from starvation, but promising a splendid form.
And human. So human. So very human and fragile and powerless.
Powerless against him, against the dangers of this world.
And how is it possible that she is also wearing his color? No, no. Not just any color. Very much his color. Like she knew. But could she? She'd never seen him before.
And what is he thinking right now?
What if she likes Cassian more? Cassian is handsome and funny. It would only be natural that she'd like Cassian. But also--could they not see how beautiful she is? How breathtaking? She isn't his but he has a strange need to show her off, to have them acknowledge just how spectacular she is. But also, she is his. He doesn't want anyone's eyes on her, but his.
What is he to do?
Her eyes dip to his hands and he cringes inwardly.
There it is. The moment of judgement.
But it doesn't come.
Just a swish of her cobalt dress on the parquet floor.
He watches her. He follows her.
He thinks that he could follow her for the rest of his life.
He follows the whisper of the cobalt dress, not knowing where the path would take him, but needing to find out.

My Journey to Escape the War in Gaza
My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined Iād be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knewāmy home, my safety, my communityāwas ripped away from me.

The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying theyāll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and itās become a daily battle just to survive.
Iāve seen things I never thought possibleāstanding in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everythingāmy home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but itās almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, Iām trapped in a warzone with no way out.
Iām reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chanceājust a chanceāto live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.
Any amount you can give will help me get closer to safety. Even the smallest donation will make a differenceāit could be the lifeline I need to survive. If you are unable to donate, please share my story. The more people who hear it, the better the chance that I can find the support I desperately need.
Your kindness and support mean the world to me. Youāre not just helping me escape a war; youāre giving me a chance to live, to rebuild, to breathe again.
Thank you for listening. Thank you for caring.

From Under the Rubble... I Write My Story šæ
I never thought I would write these words⦠š
I never imagined waking up to endless screams,
Running barefoot through smoke and fire,
Searching for my mother among the rubble,
Only to find nothing but silence⦠a heavy silence telling me that no one will answer me anymore. š
In one moment, everything changed.
Our home became a memory, my motherās embrace became the past,
And my father's face, now absent, is the last thing I hold in my memory.
Theyāre gone⦠and left my heart burdened with unspoken grief. š¢
But despite everything, we are still here⦠trying.
I survived with my younger siblings.
Yes, we survived⦠but who are we after survival?
Children without warmth, without a roof, with no place to return to.
We were displaced to an unknown place, carrying a bag empty of everything⦠except pain. š„
We slept in the open, waking every morning to a life that holds nothing for us,
But despite everything⦠we keep trying. šŖ

I write to you today not to cry, but to ask for hope. š±
I ask you to be a small light in this vast darkness,
To extend a hand that can mend what the war has broken in us.
Your donation will give my siblings a chance to sleep safely,
It will provide us with food, shelter, and maybe even a new beginning. š
ā
ļøVetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #586 )ā
ļø
Any amount, no matter how small, is big for us
Itās a prayer, itās love, itās life. š
In conclusion...
From my heart, and from the hearts of my little siblings,
Thank you to everyone who has donated,
Thank you to everyone who has read,
Thank you to everyone who has shared.
You are the proof that goodness does not die, and that humanity has no boundaries. š

What I canāt quite wrap my head around at this point is what the endgame is for antis. I get that they donāt really dwell in cannon or reality, but the clock is ticking on this next book release so what is the plan if it doesnāt go their way.
For me as an Elriel, if for some reason Elain and Az donāt end up together, I can hang my hat on 4 books of interactions, associations and build up. I can also point to multiple articles from reputable sources leading the conversation about Elain and Azriel. Both canon and marketing support believing in Elriel.
The antis have half of ONE bonus chapter (that also confirms Azriel is down bad for Elain). And the only articles they can prop up are opinion pieces where authors openly state that their theories are based on what they want to happen.
The writing is on the wall at this point, but at least Elriels can say, Az and Elain openly liked each other in the books and have plenty of build up, which is why we ship them. Article agreeing with us are just further confirmation. We follow logic. Antis have to clutch onto two words and what the words could potentially mean based on their own biased interpretation. Antis follow feelings.
Sorry but thatās just not the way books are written. The plot of this story was decided years ago. The couples may have shifted at first but have been solidly set since book 2. This is happening, Elain Archeron is coming and she is bringing her favorite bat boy along with her.
Side note: I have never seen a group take so many hits and keep getting up swearing they are still right. Your arguments were debatable at best and the fact that no major news source agrees with you just further confirms it. It is time to back off and let go. Iām not holding my breath for an apology from the antis but like damn dude stop fighting it already.

Not to be a Nesta hater, because I actually like her, but I hope we donāt see much Nesta in Elainās book just as we did not see much Elain in Nestaās book but Iām afraid we will see Nesta every other page.
I, especially donāt want to see Valkyries. I want to see spies, letās leave the Valkyries in Nestaās book.

Before I started reading the series I had already gotten massively spoiled, but I still thought it was a finished series so for me ACOSF was the last book. I remember seeing jessdraw.s fanarts of Feysand, Nessian and Elriel and I completely fell in love with Elriel (I hadnāt even started the books lol). Then I started seeing a lot of gwynriel fanarts and I got kinda sad because I thought every sister was supposed to end up with a bat boy, it just made so much sense, so I started reading. I payed attention to the clues even more because I wanted to see if it was obvious from the beginning who was going to end up with who, and Nessian were obvious from the moment they met, Elriel were cute but I feel like SJM didnāt point much out in ACOMAF. I started ACOWAR and I already hated Elain and Lucien being mates, so I was rooting for Azriel even though they hadnāt interacted much yet, but then they started spending time together and Feyre and Rhys had the conversation about mates and my mind was made up. Because I thought the series was finished I thought Elriel were somehow gonna get together in the last book (I didnāt know it was Nessianās then lol). Then ACOFAS just further convinced me about Elriel, they had too many romantic coded moments to not end up together. Come ACOSF, I was waiting for Gwyn and Azriel to have something, since everyone was rooting so hard for them, but they didnāt actually interact much, whilst Elriel had a few moments in the book, that were even more obvious than in previous books, so I was surprised that people thought they were not gonna end up together. Then I read the bonus chapter and I got so happy because it basically confirmed what I had been thinking, that Elain and Azriel really had a thing for each other, imagine my surprise coming online and finding out that people hated Elriel and wanted Gwynriel because of said bonus chapter, where he literally wanted to get on his knees to eat Elain out and says he hasnāt slept and is avoiding her because he canāt control his feelings for her.
Everyone please share your experiences too, Iām so curious.

The fact that Azriel didnāt need his shadows because he could read Elain perfectly.
But at the same time, Elain knew why he had moved to the HOW and why he hadnāt come at dinners.
They know each other perfectly and come to understandings without even communicating
She knew why he had been avoiding dinners but she didnāt say anything
She knew why he hadnāt given his gift to her in front of everyone, but she didnāt say anything
He knew she had lied about forgetting to put his gift with the other, but he didnāt say anything
He knew why she hadnāt gifted anything to her mate, but he didnāt say anything
Mutual understanding, without even talking to each other

It was over for them when the time mag interview came out at the beginning of the year, it was over for them when Az received first person confirmation that the Cauldron is in fact corrupted, it was over for them when Sarah posted guilty as sin on her ig story and thanked Taylor āfor this giftā, it was over for them when the mating quiz came out and their fave was nowhere in sight, it was over them when spotify (and other) social media teams started commenting on elrielās posts and replying to elrielās comments on their, the companies, own posts.
Now with the E! news article drop, itās never been more over. Everyone, this is what we call a soft launch. Now we wait for our announcement drop in the spring. :)

I don't understand G*ynriel's at all. They constantly project onto Elriel's, make up stories about us and call us delusional.
G*ynriel's will go into Elriel spaces to invalidate the things that we are saying. They will stalk, harass and mock us. I don't know if that makes them feel less insecure or better about themselves but it is not normal behavior.
They are mean to artists and bully them just because said artist did not draw their ship, then up excuses just to pretend like they hate the artwork or straight up call it a copy of something (which is rich coming from G*ynriels). JUST SCROLL PAST IT. I scroll past art of your ships because I do not care, they're not hurting anybody.
Then, they project these things onto Elriels. They say it is the Elriel's doing this. 99% of the time, whenever I go to any post of Elriel art, I see comments with a lot of likes asking where G*yn is, or that Elain doesn't belong there. I see people basically saying that G*yn is superior to Elain because she is stronger in aspects that Elain is not. Yet when we call them misogynistic we are being dramatic and it's "just fiction" ? I hope they know that Elain and G*yn being fictional women is not a good excuse to be misogynistic towards either of them. Misogyny is a prejudice against women, Elain is a WOMAN character.
To be this insecure about a fictional ship is disgusting. These are human beings who post about their favorite ship, these are human beings who make these artworks. To bring down someone for enjoying something is a whole different level of evil that nobody should ever stoop to over fiction.
To invalidate, bully, harass and stalk people just to make them feel bad about something they enjoy is not okay. They demonize Elriels, yet it is mainly G*ynriel's who endorse bullying and harassment because they are so bitter and insecure that their crackship will not happen. I have seen some very sweet G*ynriel's, however the nasty ones are the loudest and I see hundreds of people agreeing with their blatant misogynistic takes and endorsing them being awful to actual human beings. (And to characters but apparently that only matters when it's G*yn or L*cien). If, for some reason a G*ynriel sees this and you don't do this, then this post is not about you. But I'm fed up because any time the Elriels are happy, it is G*ynriels mission to make them as miserable as possible.
