“What the F- Really?” Adam exclaimed surprised, eyes wide open. “That’s a robbery”
Carson let out a small laugh, shrugging. “Oh, just like, eight hundred dollars. If you’re lucky.”

“I’ll text you the adress” Adam joked, “But seriously, how expensive are those tickets anyway?”
“What? I want to know what rock you’ve been living under so I can use it when I need to disappear.”

Adam frowned for a moment, taking a while to process what was being said by the girl, his mind going completely blank on a good answer for that, half his brain was literally off and he was struggling with keeping his eyes open. “Really? Well I’m a wreck right now, there’s no way I was able to hide my weakness even if I tried, I haven’t slept since forever, so there’s that... as to making me extremely unattractive... I do ramble a lot... really?” he blinked, feeling his eyes aching as he took a long sip into his coffee.
annika’s eyes focused on the male stammering before her. amusing, to say the least. making people struggle was a favorite pass time for her. call it mean, maybe. but they’d live. twirling her fork in her fingers, she looked him over before finally rolling her eyes, smirking wildly. “ my mother always told me rambling was extremely unattractive. shows weakness and gives the other person the upper hand. “ she closes her comic, turning her body more towards him. “ my mother might be a bitch but she’s the smartest woman i know. “ tilting her head, she batted her lashes at him.

“ Wait what?” Adam blinked focusing back into reality and to the girl that just called his attention. “Oh- I’m sorry... I wasn’t- I guess it looked like I was, but I wasn’t actually staring... I was lost on thoughts, I didn’t mean to- sorry” He easily started rambling an apology, this was what the lack of sleep of the past week was causing. He looked like a sleepwalker, if it wasn’t the fact that he had food whatsoever at home he wouldn’t be here, but before finally having some sleep he needed to have something to eat.
flying from coast to coast might have been long and true, she’s been back for a day, but she’s still tired and, frankly, aj is always tired of everyone. she was enjoying her lunch, having the day off from all the work she did in los angeles (though is it really work when she’s interviewing great bands ?). flipping the latest issue of the new avengers. her zen moment wa s stompped on when she felt a gaze her way, and she looked up, crossing her leg over the other, arms folding. “ it’s rude to stare. “

“How bad it is if I tell you that I have no idea what the Hamilton is?”
“Just think, no matter how hard I work I’ll never be rich enough to buy Hamilton tickets.”

“Two beers please” Adam asked gesturing at the guy on the food truck. “I pay for this round, you can pay for the next! How about that?” Adam tilted his head, smiling. “And here you go...” He added, accepting both beers and handing her one. He quickly handed the money and they were ready to start exploring. “I’ve heard about this new band that is going to play today, maybe we could check it out?” He suggested.
She smiled softly, “That’s good to know,” she laughed a little. Jenna followed the boy to the food truck and slipped her hands into her pockets when they got there. “I’ll take a beer,” she told him. “But that’s expensive–I wouldn’t mind paying.”

Adam chuckled. “Time to time being whenever we’re together. Yeah...” he commented, grinning back at her before taking a small sip on his glass, “I know! I’ve been super busy when Sawyer wasn’t around much, but she’s back now, so I have more free time. But you could always have called me, you know I would make the time for you. I guess you didn’t missed that much” He teased, “And how’s that working?”
“you’re probably right. and because you feed me from time to time.” a rare grin was spreading over her features now, feeling more at home on this couch than she had in her own home for the past month. she gratefully accepted the glass, cradling it in her hands as she got comfortable. “okay, first of all, you’re a busy man to get ahold of. but — i’ve been working my ass off to make things up to my dad.”

“Yeah, but you also happen to be a girl, and usually girls take forever, so forgive me for doubting you” Adam tilted his head, with a smile on his face. “The water is probably a bit cold so yeah...” He commented, rubbing the back of his head after handing her the wetsuit. He was already in his swimming shorts, so there wasn’t that much else to do before jumping into the water, but the last thing he wanted was to be staring at Kennedy as she was getting ready. Well, not that he didn’t wanted to look. He was a guy. Taking a glimpse of her body as she slipped off her dress, Adam cleared his troat to focus back on reality and decided to get the boards off the bag and get them ready, from the corner of his eye he could see the movements of Kennedy trying to get on the wetsuit, he thought on offering his help, but that would only make it awkward. She managed it just fine, with a jump here and there that was causing Adam to smile as he was setting everything with the boards. “Now? Well first rule: warm up. We are jumping into cold water, it’s really important to warm up other wise you can seriously injured yourself. Stretch your arms up, spread your legs...” He started to do just what he was saying so she could mimic him. “After warming up, I’m just going to quickly show you how to stand up on the board, and then we go into the water and just have some fun”
“I told you it would be”, she countered, almost wondering why it was that he had been doubting her. But she shook that off, setting her bag down in the sand. Kennedy felt like an absolute idiot standing here with Adam right now, thinking too much about silly things that just shouldn’t matter in their friendship. It was just silly for her to be this nervous or to shy around someone that she had begun to know so much about. “Thanks, probably should”, she nodded, taking the wetsuit from his grasp. And of course, the possibility to taking off her dress to revealing her bikini to him was absolutely a new fear in her mind. The blush ignited on her cheeks as she slipped free from the light sundress and attempted to slide into the suit before much could be seen. If only she was that lucky, turns out getting into a wet suit was more of a challenge than she would of thought. Causing her to jump and shimmy, looking absolutely ridiculous to get into the safety of the ridiculous contraption. “Okay, so what now.”

“I didn’t came much with my family either, but in the last two years before moving I was able to come with friends. Compared to this, you didn’t missed much.” Adam tilted his head at Jenna, offering a smile. “A drink it is then” He added, leading them to the closest food truck to order some drinks. “What can I get you?” He asked, not sure if she would be the beer kind of girl.
“I don’t really remember the old festivals,” she confessed. “My family was never huge on going.” She smiled at him, “But a drink sounds lovely.”
#c: jenna#I have no idea to come up with something new#so I decided to keep this#shoot me a message if you feel like doing something else

“Admit it, its the only reason you’re here” Adam joked, already on his way to his kitchen, quickly grabbing the tequila bottle and two glasses. Returning to the living room Adam filled both glasses and handed Hennessey’s one. “Spit it out.” He stated, letting himself fall into the other side of his couch. “What have you been up to that I didn’t set my eyes on you forever”
an audible sigh almost left hennessey’s lips at the sight of adam flinging open the front door. her palms rested on his back for a few seconds longer than she would have let herself with anyone else before she was planting herself on his couch. “music to my ears, devinson.”

“It’s a small price to pay for doing what I love. But it’s though some nights. And Dj’ing when drunk leads to epic failure. I can’t afford it.” Adam chuckled “That sounds perfect, with this heat you’re right, we do need a beer for our way there” He agreed, as they both walked towards the closest food truck where Adam quickly asked for two cold beers, already hading the guy the money to pay for them. “Here you go man” He handed one to Rhys, accepting the change, and the other beer after.
“I feel sorry for you. Drinking with people all night is fun, but having to deal with them when you’re sober is the worst. It’s why I’d rather pay for an overexpensive cab than play designated driver. How about you pay for beers and we drink them on our way to the beach bar and I’ll pay there?”

“It makes it really hard to pick one thing to do. This has nothing to do with what I remmember about this festival back in the day... not at all. How about we go find something to drink?” Adam suggested, with a small shrugg of shoulders, smiling.
“I’m honestly overwhelmed by the largeness of it all.”

“Sounds good to me. We just need to grab something to drink before!” Adam replied, tilting his head and offering a smile. “Beer?”
“It’s pretty big,” Annie commented looking out around them at all the festival had to offer. “Oh gosh I don’t know, maybe we can just do a lap and see what’s around first?”
#c: annie#i know the even is over#but it took me ages to get back on the dash#and i didn't want to lose the opportunity of interact since we haven't so far ;)

“You really don’t function without your daily dose of sweets” Adam laughed as well. “Yeah, don’t even tell me, It’s really good to have Sawyer back. I tried to help the best I was able to, but bartender really isn’t my strong, it really ended up getting you worked up...” Adam agreed, he promised Sawyer he would help as much as he could, but there was only so much he could do. Breaking a dozen of glasses per night wasn’t helping at all, so he decided to let that out of his tasks. “I’ve been good, working more on my music now that I got some free time... Talking about it, I need you on a guitar on this new track I’m working on!”
“Fo sho. And you know me, I always need something sweet. And, really. What’s a festival without fairy floss?” she laughed. “Pretty good, pretty good. So more relaxed now that Sawyer’s back,” she nodded as they waited for their tacos. “There was a moment where I felt like I was suffocating with having to take on more work and everything, not gonna lie. But how ‘bout you?”

@wtfhennessey:open your door loser
Chuckling at the sight of Hennessey’s new message, Adam quickly got himself opening the door for his best friend. “Hey loser” He complimented, grinning, before taking the girl for a hug as she stepped in. “Make yourself at home” he stated, even if she already did that even without him saying it. “Let me go grab that tequila”
