Invincible Season 2 Teaser looks awesome. Was lucky enough to storyboard on Season 1 and wanted to upload the Mount Rushmore fight from episode 3. Sped up some parts so audio drops out here n there. Was still boarding in Photoshop like a dummy so a lil janky and give mega thanks to @danduncanart and @shaunphonso for help cleaning up and @justincopelandart for bringing me aboard! #invincible #season1 #storyboard #animation #invincibleseason2 #cartoon #art

Sorry if this has been asked before, but how did you get your job on TMNT?
sorry for the late reply! I was posting a lot of art online and got super lucky and was given a storyboard revision test for Legend of Korra. Got the job and while there learned about the new TMNT so I took a storyboard test for them and had the best 5 seasons evarrrr. :)

Hey I saw your episode of theanimationnetwork podcast and it was really great! One thing I was wondering though is how should I setup a storyboard portfolio? Like how many different projects/pages should I throw in and should anything else go in like figure drawing stuff or anything like that?
srry for late response! :) I'd think 3 scenes would be good. Board what you'd like to do once you're in. Want to board action scenes? Board a 30 second to 1 minute scene of action. Want to focus more on sitcom style then board out a scene from a sitcom type script. Scenes can be anywhere from 40 to 1000 panels just depends on what it calls for. Any sequential type of storytelling could help in a storyboard portfolio like comics or film shot studies. Focus on Composition and information flow panel to panel. Keep at it!

Alo! Here's my storyboard from Star Trek Prodigy Episode 11 "Asylum". Was written as a ceremonial ship launching for the Protostar; Paparazzi, breaking the bottle of wine etc...outside Star Fleet Academy in San Francisco. Was super fun and challenging in that we only had reference for the Academy scenes from the movies and tv shows and not a specific design/layout of the environment. So after looking at as much reference as possible I built a simple mock up in CG and finally forced myself to dig into "scene mode" in storyboard pro. Learned a lot, waited way too long to really dig into that program and there's still so much to go. New locations/big exteriors in CG can be costly especially if only used for one scene. In the end everything got cut for a simpler interior scene, which happens. The shots are still there but no more Starfleet and hovercraft lol. Was bummed but the things learned from setting up this scene definitely were worth it.....now I gotta learn Blender. Le Sigh Shout out to directors @artofsteveahn @sungshin9482 For some reason whenever I had to do scratch dialogue/voice over as a place holder I would do Janeway as Russell Crowe in Master and Commander. #startrekprodigy #storyboards #animation #nickelodeon #janeway #animatic #scifi #protostar #startrek #cartoons #storyboard

I really enjoyed your story about John Steakley! I've seen your artwork of Armor for years, nice to find who finally did it and to see such a cool story involved in it! It's a shame he never got to finish Armor 2! - Dave
Awesome! Thanks and yeah he was gone way too soon. Appreciate the good words!
