"what exactly IS AA,AI?"

Ad Astra, Ab Intra, as stated in the bio, is a visual novel! It is created / written / illustrated by Cas @casawio , alongside a few secret guest artists !

🌀 "who are the main characters?

From right to left:

Mycah - The player character / protagonist. A freshman who has recently transferred to Archangel Raphael Academy, a catholic boarding school in Pittsburgh, Kansas. They have an affinity for mycology and theology.

Lauren - A fellow student at Archangel Raphael's. After 3 and a half years at the academy, he's very disillusioned with both the school and christianity as a whole. He's currently living in a jeep wrangler, and has been since sophmore year. He has very little contact with either of his parents.

Imogen - Imogen, a junior, strives to be a model student at the academy. She prays under her breath before tests, she keeps her dorm tidy, and eagerly signs up for any extracurriculars. Still, she seems to be hiding something. She avoids her past, and is apprehensive towards the future.

🌀 "what's the premise?"

With the new semester comes new school events to plan for -- The most anticipated, of which, is prom at the end of the year.

The school counselor, Ms. Halling, assigns the main characters to work on the event as an extracurricular. Imogen immediately accepts, of course. Lauren is opposed to the idea, but Ms. Halling bribes him with some much-needed community service hours. Mycah is chosen, as the faculty want them to meet the upperclassmen.

But soon after they begin working on the event, Imogen and Lauren begin experiencing reoccurring dreams-- with Mycah as the key figure in every one. As if trying to graduate wasn't enough, they now have to confront the past to prevent their dreams from seeping into reality.
