adel is so easy to mistake as being shorter than derek with the upwards gaze he has in his sprites (until sige that is) but he's actually just shy of 6 ft at 182 cm. assuming derek didn't miraculously grow in his late 20s since his operation in second opinion that means adel has about 1-3 inches on him, depending on the version (derek is 5'10.4 in the north american release but 174 cm ie 5'8.5 everywhere else)

okay okay so like, he’s wearing a collar in it. That’s gotta be dehumanizing as fuck for him, to have to wear a collar with identification on it. Like, it’s a constant reminder that he’s different from anyone around him, that people think he’s dangerous and a monster. He probably would have to keep it visible, so anyone who sees him knows there’s Something shady going on with him.

Also they got far enough with this idea that an earlier unused scene had him with this design, and i think used this artwork in it? I don’t know where to find that specific scene right now, but like, it’s something. (A difference between that scene and this art though is that the tag is labelled “CR-S01″, unlike in this artwork.)
