Growing up, I sure felt loved only as a kid because I was all they had. Sure, I was spoiled as well. But when I say growing up, I meant, really growing up (being a sister, finding my dreams, discovering who I am, having responsibilities) I have never felt more alone. I forgot how it felt like to be loved by my parents. I forgot how it felt like to hug them. I forgot how it felt being taken care of.

My first ever heartbreak were my own parents.

Now that I'm older, most people my age can be independent. But it doesn't change the fact that we are still kids deep inside our hearts. At the end of the day, we still need our parents.

Thank you for everything, especially for letting me in your heart and accepting me as I am. It's beyond words to describe how happy and secured you truly make me. I will stay with you in your bad days and your good days, in your lowest low and your highest high. You are worth it and you will always be.

I hope to be a much better person with you this year with an even better mindset. Let's treat each other well and let's grow older together. Please be healthier. Take care of yourself and put yourself first before anything else.
