ooc: i may take months to reply but i eventually will do it... its been summer and my focus has been all over the place. i for some reason could not focus on any reply. I read all this fanfic and stuff (for a fandom i have never been part of) and just sort of focussed in on it and I could not get my attention off of it.

So i just relaly appreciate all my followers and people willing to continue to rp with me

"It'd take more than food to get rid of you," he told Patrick. He didn't want to equate Patrick to something like a cockroach, or a grease stain that you couldn't get rid of, he didn't like thinking of the other in that negative of a light. But Patrick had always been there, it seemed, since his first day at the Academy Patrick was there like he was always meant to be there. He rolled his eyes, "Maybe my one and only role model at hosting and doing that was shit at it," he said giving the guy a pointed look. He let out a bit of a laugh.

He may have been a little more forceful with getting his food on his fork than needed, "Oh yes, my ego is the big one Mr. I'm Going Pro with my Shit Serve." Art was going to college for a various amount of reasons. One was to get better at Tennis, after losing Singles to Patrick, he knew certainly college was the right choice to get better. He knew before, but there was always a little doubt in his decision. But he had discussed it with Mark, and his teachers, he had gotten a dual scholarship, and signed with Stanford.

"So you're here a whole weekend, and I get to capitalize on all that time?" he said eyebrows raised skeptically. He felt like Patrick was deflecting, and so of course he didn't trust the words his friends was saying entirely.

“ ANYTHING TO GET rid of me. ”   his tone indicates that it’s a joke,   but it was the closer to the truth than one may realize. “ it's not that unbelievable, art. i'm the guest here, not you. that's part of being a ‛ good host ’ or whatever the fuck. you're supposed to wine & dine me, keep up appearances for however long it takes, then hope that i'll put out. no wonder you're still single. it's kind of pathetic, i'm almost sad for you. ” callused digits inch forward, now picking at art's food without an ounce of discretion.

there's a shrug of his shoulders, obfuscating in a way. “ is it that important? fishing for a way to feel special, donaldson? isn't the college degree & little dorm room enough to stroke your ginormous ego? ”

ooc: art hates the clothing rules of wimbledon... yes he is a fan of traditional tennis whites, but he also like some color typically red, moving to blue when he is with tashi. I feel like he and tashi have spoken about the archaic rules particularly for the women often. and it is part of the reason that even though art has won wimbledon it is not one of the wins he brags about except to say he won a slam.

i will make this a true headcanon at some point but i want it out since wimbledon is happening/happened

Art loves two types of donuts. Because despite everything Art has a sweet tooth. Half the reason he chews gum, that started off as Double Bubble when he was in middle school, is because he gets just that small bit of sugar. He loves fruits because he loves sweet things. So he loves the churros at Stanford and they are his one little splurge that he allows himself as a treat. He'll get two just for himself if he wins a tournament or match.

But back to the donuts. There are a few mom and pop type donut shops that aren't part of a chain, but still have really good donuts. His favorite is near his childhood home that his grandma would take him to every Friday of the summer when he was going to tennis camps before attending the Tennis Academy.

He likes two types of donuts from these shops. Going off the churro with cinnamon he likes the cinnamon rolls that are run under the glazing machine. He also likes chocolate frosted donut holes. He could eat a million chocolate frosted donut holes if he lacked self control and had deep enough pockets.

After he wins tournaments, he sneaks out the morning, before Tashi can wake up, because she's not expecting him to get up because Art is notoriously not a morning person, and he will go to the nearest mom and pop donut shop and get himself two cinnamon rolls, and a dozen chocolate frosted donut holes, if they have those. The donut holes are rarer. He'll eat those and a cinnamon role, deal with the stomach ache of going off his very specific diet, and bring the other cinnamon roll home for Lily. I do believe Tashi knows what he does, despite him always paying in cash for them, but I don't see it in her to make him stop. Its not like its going to mess his diet up because Art does show much self control.

People who know about this weakness, Tashi, I can picture her getting him these on the morning after their wedding, and giving that knowing smirk. And Patrick knows about it, I like to think that after breaks where he goes home and Art doesn't he'll bring the donuts for Art as a present or something. Also very clearly Art's grandma knows.
