Y/N’S MESSAGES ☆

Extremely nervous for her flight, Y/N continuously opened and closed her text messages. Her eyes darted around the crowded airport, bustling with both locals and foreigners traveling to and from Italy. She could easily tell apart tourists from people who lived there, evident by how confident they seemed in their travels. Those who were lost were clearly newcomers, while the ones that wandered easily were obvious citizens.

Nothing from Kimi yet. He was probably busy with practice and such, but she still couldn’t help her anxiety. What if plans changed last minute? She’d be flying without WiFi, so if he tried to contact her mid flight, she wouldn’t see. What if something happened on the plane? What if she’s a bad luck charm?

She took a deep breath. Calm yourself, Y/N. She had seen many a race when he was still with Formula Two, so this should be no difference. Besides, it was supposed to be fun, so she was determined to have fun. She opened the ticket on her phone and allowed the attendant to scan it before boarding the plane. She seated herself next to an older woman, who would engage in light chatter throughout the lengthy travel.

With her phone now on airplane mode, she pocketed and leaned back, ready for a long flight.

The race was nothing like anything Y/N had seen before. There was always the exhilaration that came with Formula Two, but it wasn’t on this level. The driving was so much more aggressive, the cars were so much faster, and the drama was a lot juicier. She watched everything with bated breath, her nervous gaze never leaving the track as she paced anxiously.

Everyone had greeted her with kindness, making her feel at home in the Mercedes garage. Even George Russell, a man whom she had been warned about, was surprisingly warm. It was a totally new experience, despite the fact a lot of faces were familiar.

Her closest friend didn’t win, but for a rookie, he made so many accomplishments. He was leading the race for an astonishing amount of time, breaking the record of youngest race leader. Ultimately, he landed at P3, putting him at the youngest podium winner as well. One more thing— Youngest driver to get the fastest lap, all in one place.

He hopped out of the car and lifted his helmet, taking the baclava off directly after. His messy curls stuck out in funny patterns, making her giggle as he ran towards her. His arms reached out over the barriers, a boyish grin on his devilishly handsome face. Y/N was expecting a bear hug, one that made all her joints crack and lifted her feet off the ground.

But no. Right as cameras clicked, paparazzi flooding him, his lips crashed against hers, and Y/N found herself melting against his warmth, despite the unwanted attention.

When he was pulled off and away to continue addressing the fans, she couldn’t help her dorky smile. Who cares if the entire world saw?

It's okay to not like a driver but wishing them death is honestly too low.

At the end of the day they're all human beings with their own life. Yes, they might be famous but they also have feelings and personal life. This isn't just about even just a driver, it's to all famous people. It's okay not to like their style, music, or personality, but wishing them death is honestly something else. You don't need to like them but respect them as a person. Like I said, they have feelings and a personal life too, like every other human being. And also we don't have the right to control their life! They can date who they want! It's their freaking life and we have no business to interfere!!

Help a Family in Need

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.

Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.

As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.

In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.

Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.

For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.

Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.

Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.

See. No one really cares about her, so there isn’t much about her out there — but! I am nice, so I’ll tell you what I know.

Let’s see. Where do I even begin with her?

Comes to think of it, no one really knows much about her actually? Besides the fact that—like her teammate—she was a determined driver, there’s really not much about her out there, isn’t it?

Huh, I guess that’s what the Ferraris had in common; they were destined to get burned by their own ambition.

(Which—and you did not hear this from me—sounds a lot more like their own team.)

Poor girl’s only been around for a year (est. 2022) and she already looks like she’s a divorced mom of four who also had to be a medic in the middle of a war.

When she first arrived, the internet had deemed she could be the next Ayudisha (angelic, follows the rules, could probably do no harm) seeing as the world was already sick of one Nightshade, they didn’t need another.

She is a good driver—a great one, in fact. Her potential waves all around her like a visible aura when you see her.

That’s why her first steps into Formula One was into a Ferrari.

Miss girl was a great driver, she knew that, Ferrari knew that too, there was a reason they chose her.

Unfortunately, the public wasn’t big on it.

The internet was a whirlwind during that time — ‘ermm idk how to feel about this.’ (Excited? Amazed? Thrilled? Exhilarated? Enraptured? I don’t know, here, I’ll hold the dictionary open for you.) — ‘diversity hire lol.’ (I mean... even if it was... who will be the one making most money here? Certainly not you, jobless Twitter user! Try LinkedIn ‘stead of Twitter for once.) — ‘literally so many options to choose from and they sign this nobody?’ (I have hired a private investigator to find out where you live.) — ‘interesting choice, Ferrari. Will certainly be looking forward to this.’ (we love an open mind!) — ‘uhm, who?’ (she will show you who she is!)

The point is; Y/N get money, Y/N gets insults. It’s how the world works for her.
