Okay so hear me out. When I've decided to just fuck it an create my own next 20 seasons I wanted Gene to have something to drag him down. A weakness like the others. Something to make him realize that he's not all that perfect. He relies so much on his brain and knowledge that the thought of what would happen if something makes him lose his reliability in what he knows

Hence why the insanity arc is my favorite. It portraits a loss. The loss of ones sanity,where what you knew, what you stood for no longer applies. Your mind isn't yours anymore and you don't know if what you knew is real or not.

The way I wrote Gene isn't like a narcissist (not the good nor the bad kind) but more like a broken person who's just putting up a facade. He had bottled his anger for so long that the moment it burst it was violent.

In what I write you'd see some of Gene's actions aren't calculated. They aren't even thought. He just acts out of anger.

Every ship is good (as long as said ship isn't toxic or problematic then y'all can hate) but if the ship is good why the hate?

That's why I absolutely ADORE the small Super 4 fandom. No ship wars everyone ships what they want and we all are like "Omg yeah that's SO COOL"

Especially the ships amongst the main 4. They work so well with each other no matter how you pair them they just work.

And if someone can't settle on a ship fuck it Poly4 it is.
