Honestly this one is a bit old (did this two or three month ago idk) and I never tried to finish it or post it because I thought that it could easily be mischaracterisation and I HATE mischaracterisation cause it’s so frustrating though when I produce any fan content I always feel like I’m falling straight in…

Ruby origin (Super 4: Ruby Headcanon)

That's a tough question, and although it is half answered in my post about pirates, I'll try to get deeper here. I will use many info I wrote before, and I am writing this without rewatching the episodes, so I might forget some stuff.

A map (⁠☞ﾟ⁠ヮﾟ⁠)⁠☞

I don't know if it is from Gene, Techno-Explorer or Origins, but I'm sure it is one of them.

The big islands in the middle are Kingsland and the Enchanted Island. The island at the left's top is the Lost World. The islands at the bottom covered by clouds are Technopolis, and Gunpowder is the island with a volcano. There are other islands we don't know, so I won't count them.

First I'll eliminate the ideas which I am sure are not.

Obviously, she is not a fairy, no wings, no magic, not even fantasy color palette, so even the remote theory of a wingless fairy doesn't work for me.

I don't think she is from the Lost World. That place might have humans (Rock Brock spawned from a tree, I don't know), we have not seen enough of them to know if she fits their society, plus that island is pretty far from Gunpowder Island and in opposite extremes of the Kingsland/Enchanted Island, so baby Ruby would have died or landed on Kingsland or the Enchanted Island before reach Gunpowder.

She is not an alien. I don't know why I felt the need to add this clarification, but just in case, I think everyone agrees.

This ends the places I am sure she is not, now the ones I can have doubts about but I discarded.

Technopolis is not a place that according to the canon could fit the theory, because we don't know for how long Computer Supreme have had the island locked, but it looks like even Doctor X has been raised under Computer Supreme's command, and he is a gramp older than our main team, so I hardly think they could had thrown a baby to the sea. And the "but they did it secretly through a small hole" doesn't convince me, because Gene is a special case and there's no way a computer connected to the city network wouldn't notice an electrical door opening, no matter how small it is.

Kingsland is the only place I would give a small chance, but I'm still not sure, because it just doesn't feel Kingsland's style. They are closer to the faires, and according to classic fairy tales... you know what they do with babies... The Enchanted Island faires don't do that, don't worry, probably.

That leaves us with... The same theory which says that there are other people around Gunpowder. Sorry if it sounds boring, but I think Ruby is from Gunpowder, (a tiny chance) Kingsland or from a completely unknown place, which to be honest, from what I think writers thought, would be the last option. A strong "we don't know".

And if you want to know the reason why I think Ruby had been ditched as a baby (and it adds more angst to her character) is precisely for being a girl. A Gunpowder couple/mother who didn't want a girl because you know how Gunpowder is. They don't even have to be strictly sexist; they may simply wanted a boy because he would bring them economic benefit.

As cheesy as it may sound, Ruby is simply a child of the sea, or that's what I like to think.

so the post is old (and cringe) so here is an updated version:

Twinkle's family history and headcanons are the same but I add some headcanons and curiosities:

1) all her family members have names derived from the sky/space which is quite common for fairies that all members of a family have names derived from something natural.

2) since she is the daughter of a fairy and a human she has much stronger magic than fairies born without human parents.

3) Twinkle when she was exiled by the Fairy Queen, she had very very long hair that almost reached her knees (but she always kept it tied in a braid so they didn't see).

4)Gene sees her as a younger sister to be protected but will never admit it.

anyway I'll also redo Gene's one and also Alex and Ruby's ones

this is my version (on gacha life 2) of Twinkle from the playmobil super 4.

headcanon:

1) when Alex met her for the first time she was 14 and a half years old but she lies by saying that she was 16 like him.

2) sometimes Ruby gets her hair dyed by her.

3) during a fight her wand broke, after asking the big fairy to fix it she replied that she couldn't do anything to fix it, so Twinkle decided to go and visit her aunt Calypso to see if she could fix it she replied the same as the big one fairy a Fairy but gave Twinkle a magic package.

4) when she went to Kingsland for the first times, some knights annoyed her, in fact she hated going around the castle alone.

5) she is bisexual, with preferences for boys.

6) has a romantic reaction with Alex.

7) before getting engaged to Alex, Twinkle had a sort of emotional attraction towards Ruby (who is a lesbian and Ace).

8) she have ADHD

her family history: her family has a particular history because her great-great-grandmother (Star sea) was a pirate, (this was my conjecture as in one episode a woman very similar to Twinkle was depicted in a photo and i know that the was fake but it'sis my AU so my rule😌) when Twinkle's great-grandmother (Celeste) decided that the life of a pirate would have been if it were not for her, he fled to the Enchanted Island where he met a destiny (a male fairy) and they fell in love, a little girl named Luna was born.

After a heavy argument with her parents over her friendship with a wizard, Luna ran away and met the wizard again who raped her.

After what happened, Luna returns crying to her parents and tells of two twins, one named Astra who was a fairy and the other named Calypos who was a sorceress.

Astra was reckless and sociable, while Calypos was very quiet and reserved. Years later, a hunter saw Astra bathing in a river, and extremely fascinated by the beauty of the fairy, they approached the water and when Astra noticed the presence of the man, she looked at him with an almost challenging and provocative look that induced the man to take off his clothes and enter the water.

after that event the two began to see each other regularly and became lovers.

Astra was very happy to have a man by her side who loved her and made her feel safe, but her sister didn't like the hunter but didn't say anything to her.

a few years after their union, a blue-haired girl was born and they decided to call her Twinkle.

However, a year after her birth Twinkle was orphaned of both parents, her father was killed by some knights and her mother committed suicide out of desperation, after which her aunt Calypos decided to take her to the fairy castle.

And after a few years Calypos discovered that Twinkle had been chased away by the fairies, she decided to take her and decided that she would protect her at all costs.

And when she saw Twinkle leave with the super 4, it broke her heart but she knew she had to let her go.

I was excited to have this and post it. Okay, is not the hyper mega best fanart, but I'm proud of it.

Omori style is adorable! And the headspace colours fit the enchanted forest pretty well.

I almost forgot Twinkle's winks, and the background is not a screenshot, I really have rebuilt it. Find a pic where the pixels were clearly visible to make the tree was a bit more difficult than I expected.
