if you are adding tags to a post as a content warning, do NOT abbreviate, censor, or use euphemisms. People who want to avoid specific topics are going to have words filtered, and the filters are not going to catch it if you tag "$uicide" or "grape"

Idk if the Tumblr algorithm punishes for sensitive topics (I don't use the algorithm tags/functions, and neither do a lot of people here), but if the intent is to warn your audience so that they can avoid topics that may cause them harm, I would argue that it's more important to tag correctly, even if it costs you exposure

A fun but admittedly petty thing I do is when I see a post on social media where someone is saying “God bless Trump!! Pray for Trump!!”and suchlike, I comment, “Amen! Psalm 109:8-17!” And depending on the platform I’ll get likes/hearts/prayer hands emojis etc. but I’ve been doing this for months and so far no one has actually read the verse, I don’t think. Lol.
