Actually crying that Richard Erdman can’t be in the movie. I really hope they make at least some reference to him / his character because he was such a weirdly wonderful part of the show and has had such an intense career

What your favorite Community Ship says about you:
(This is a long homage to Doubleca5t’s well known Favorite Ship series on YouTube . I in no way endorse or ship all of these ships, nor claim any sense of morality or custody over the people who ship them. This is just a silly post, going over pretty much every Community ship I could think of. Please don’t fight in the comments 🤗)
Jeff/Britta
• Your ideal relationship dynamic is team mom/team dad, but specifically the kind that have been divorced and remarried like twice now
Jeff/Abed
• You believe in the inherent eroticism of being narrative foils
Troy/Abed
• You believe in the inherent eroticism of doing long and convoluted bits that nobody else cares about.
Troy/Britta
• You believe in the inherent eroticism of MEN 👏GETTING👏PEGGED👏
Jeff/Annie
• If you’re a girl, you want to fix that broken old man so so so badly. If you’re a guy… [FBI OPEN UP sound bite]
Jeff/Shirley
• You need everyone on this show to calm down like a WHOLE skosh, but not too much because you still want to talk shit about them.
Shirley/Britta
• You disagree when people say there’s too much bickering in the study group. As far as you’re concerned, there’s not ENOUGH.
Troy/Annie
• You believe wholeheartedly in the delayed gratification of former high school crushes coming to fruition years later.
Troy/Abed/Annie
• Your ideal date is a night of wild and wacky hijinks, after which hilarity ensues.
Abed/Annie
• You just want good things for Annie. And honestly?? Who wouldn’t.
Abed/Rachel
• When you see a fic tagged Abed Nadir x Female Reader, your eyes go wide, because you KNOW what you’re going to be doing until 3am tonight.
Annie/Rachel
• You… are in the wrong fandom. But you’re real as hell and I respect you.
Annie/Annie Kim
• This is the same joke as Annie/Rachel, but with the smug superiority of knowing you’re smarter than everyone else.
Britta/Annie
• You’ve called a childless 30-something woman a MILF unironically.
Britta/Frankie
• You’re a firm believer in the inherent eroticism of a one-sided rivalry
Shirley/Chang
• Your ideal relationship dynamic is a gorgeous goddess, and her little gremlin boyfriend she has to stop from getting in trouble.
Jeff/Chang
• Your favorite trope is “It is rotten work. Especially to me and especially if its you. But I’ll do it”
Duncan/Chang
• You believe in the inherent eroticism of elaborate ruses that end in failure.
Pierce/Jeff
• You want a daddy, but not the sexual kind; you just wish your own father hugged you more.
Jeff/Frankie
• You wish Frankie had been on the show from the beginning.
Annie/Frankie
• You’re tired of trying to fix that man. You want an older woman to come fix YOU.
Abed/Frankie
• You believe in the inherent eroticism of being strange and misunderstood together.
Jeff/Dean
• You want a daddy, and yes, this time the sexual kind.
Pierce/Abed
• You… Are Dan Harmon

Should go without saying but never date a cop and christ never marry one. Rule of thumb if he's legally untouchable he's ethically unfuckable. You don't like that cop, you like buff men in tight clothing. I can show you more of those, better ones. Take my hand.

they're divorced. they weren't even married. this isn't romantic. they're definitely not platonic. they're cinematic parallels. they are fighting the narrative. they slowly built their relationship. they rely and trust each other. they were aggressively thrown into this. they want to bite each other's head off. they kill for each other. they live for each other. they should kiss. they would put each other in a blender. they're insane. they don't even realise. they're fully aware it.

unstoppable force (want trobed to be canon in the movie so so bad) vs immovable object (dan harmon’s innate ability to fuck up any and every romantic relationship he’s ever written)

But the tragedy of losing Troy isn't just the fact of missing him so much, it's learning how many people aren't as interested in Abed without Troy there to soften him, without the whole act of making every struggle look whimsical and fun. When there's just a guy who's hurting and lonely and doesn't know how to connect with others, they're so much harsher. Their tolerance wears thin when he's too tired to entertain them, even though he's constantly trying to find new ways to connect. The only person who really consistently stays close to him is Annie.

My hottest Community takes:
Britta deserved better, especially after finding out that the real Dinosaur Story was actually way worse than described in the show. Her parents are horrible people. The fact that the group sides with them makes me genuinely sick to my stomach.
Jeff’s (and Abed’s) writing got worse in season 5+6. It’s like they were playing the tag team of “who’s gonna be an asshole today”. Especially the Hinkey comics episode. It was so fucking out of character for Abed. And then the giant hand episode was so out of character for Jeff.
I really hope Paget Brewster returns as Frankie for the movie, got married, and only refers to their partner as “my spouse”. Everyone’s trying to figure out if she got married to a man or a woman but at the end of the movie it’s revealed her SO is non-binary, and still nobody knows if she’s gay or not. I think it would be funny.
About Britta's trauma with the "dinosaur man"
Britta's dinosaur story is... definitely something. Here's a YouTube video with all the scenes that show it. This has also been confirmed by Dan Harmon on Reddit.

It's pretty disturbing that they made the characters take her parent's side. I honestly didn't even notice that was a part of Britta's backstory until I saw all of this. I didn't binge watch Community: I watched 4 episodes on the weekend with my dad. I don't know. If you have any more info on this, I'd like to read it.
About Jeff and Abed's writing on S5+S6
I feel like that happened to most of the character on S6, though. I already did a post before talking about my feelings about S6 (you can look for it on #wingamy rants) but, yeah, I didn't like it at all. Most characters just became either unlikable or boring to me.
About Frankie Dart
That is such a Frankie thing to do. Petition to make this cannon

The entire history of human desire takes about seventy minutes to tell. Unfortunately, we don’t have that kind of time.
