School and grades ; While running straight from school to his ‘ usual spot ‘ to train, or going hunting for rifts, has led to Yuki’s grades dropping quite badly there are two subjects that he’s doing well in. These being Maths and Geography. The former Yuki doesn’t find overly difficult compared to most kids his age, as he has an easier time balancing the numbers in his head than some of the more abstract concepts in English class. If he actually sat down, and did his homework some evenings, he could even become somewhat advanced in the subject. Not gifted, but easily a year ahead of his class level.

In regards to Geography it doesn’t come to him as easily as mathematics, but it’s something he’s taken an interest in. Or at least started to after the rifts began occurring and he, by using them, he’s been able to glimpse the world beyond Station Square and even brand new worlds entirely.

Yuki still doesn’t think grades are ultimately all that important in his budding ‘ career ‘ as a hero. But it’s not that he thinks it’s unimportant to be knowledgeable. He just believes he doesn’t need some written test, questionnaire, or report card to prove that he ‘ knows a thing. ‘

Sideflip September Day 6: Combo

I really love to get to know the mun as well as the muse. It’s always fun to chat about our threads and just talk.

◤Lively hues grew in slight confusion as the penguin leaned away from Yuki – again. Did this guy think he was going to get eaten or something? Such thoughts were quickly dismissed upon taking note of the other’s tone. One of these days someone was going to be impressed when he introduced himself, one day!

❝You don’t sound it. But Hey! I know that place! Some tourists were talking about it in London before I had to borrow their map. Well I only meant to borrow it but of course they went running when they saw me. Anyway! Mobius is this entire planet. You must have stumbled into the city through one of the rifts.❞

The avian leaned away from the feline again, rather uncomfortable with what the other creature was saying. It was true that he spoke, but so did the rest of his team and every other penguin he had met. This Yuki must not have actually met a real penguin before.

"Well, I’m honored to meet such a great hero.” The analyst spoke dryly, rather miffed at the ‘Mobian’. “I’m Kowalski, from New York. …and, I’m sorry, where is this Mobius, again? And how could I have been from there?”
