I love taking progress pics because I can see how progress. In this case I made various sketches (which I rarely do, and hilariously, the one I first drew was the one my giftee chose), then the most wrong - to - final colors i've ever done with a sketch... before I realized rand and cadsuane would be so green-red I thought the background would be more blue instead of gray. Also I was playing around with a brush.

Anyway can't trust my sketches to be an accurate representation of final product apparently haha. Number 2 still amuses me so much.

Emjen requested a scene from the Wheel of Time book A Crown of Swords, chapter 36, with Cadsuane catching Rand after he'd been wounded by an evil magical dagger.

This is not my art (Koi Latern by Yuumei, one of my fave artists) but I DID make it and despite all the mishaps and trials and tape holding this fish together

By God I did it.

And so I wanted to share

Fuckinf. Finally. I did it. I built the koi lantern and then immediately messed up the led light inserting so now it has a surgical scar (tape)

It's going on my desk. Whenever I aquire a desk.

More progress has been made! Actually there's four now but three looked more aesthetically pleasing in the pic.

I'm moving so I'm making a bunch of these for friends to reduce weight costs. Would anyone on tumblr be interested in buying a set of flower pot coasters? I was thinking $50 usd per set of four + pot (that is, $10 usd per item) and shipping...

If anyone thinks that's fair and is interested in these, or similar crochet items, please let me know in a dm or comment! I'm shipping from east coast of USA until late June.

Not pictured here the two prior Unperfect Attempts as I discovered, one, I disliked the flowers from the pattern I was following (twice) and the base I was using that I liked the best didn't fit the flower pattern I ended up using (too big. Once. Still like it though)

Animatic of the English version of Luthien's Lullaby from the Lay of Leithian musical!

For now, it shall remain unfinished due to the program I was using constantly crashing and just... making it extremely stressful to continue work on it. I hope you are all able to more or less understand my sketches and enjoy it as it is. I had a lot of fun working on it so maybe someday, with a better animation program, I can try and finish it.
