🤣🤣🤣💀 I actually do both knitting and crochet. I always laugh to myself when I do one or the other in public. Someone will start a conversation about the other. It never fails. If I’m knitting they ask me if it’s crochet and if I’m crocheting they compliment my knitting. ☺️ I love it though. Men get nostalgic about watching their mothers make for them, and some of the women ask how to do it. A great icebreaker. I guess when you see someone creating with their hands you want to say something. #adwoadesign

I had no idea what I’ve been missing out on! I was channel surfing and caught a game on @telemundo . That announcer is so dope! I love it when they score and he says “GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!!” 🤣🤣🤣🙌🏾 I’m watching today and pulling for the underdogs of Croatia. ⚽️🥅🤩#worldcup2018

No stitching for me yesterday! I made it to the @castatefair and saw my dolls on display. I love how the coordinators placed African related art together. It really took my breath away seeing the woodworking and quilting surrounding the dolls. It was perfect! The best part of the day was laying low and watching the reactions from visitors. My favorite was the man who said, “Holy 💩! That’s Killmonger!!!” 🤣🤣🤣 #adwoadesign

Several years ago, a friend asked me to make a Rick Ross Doll. I figured, why not? So she sent this picture. We laughed and joked thinking it was more of a dare and I’d never do it. But I did. I didn’t send it to her but I listed it in my Etsy Shop instead with no expectations. Then I got an order, then another, and another, and another, and so on! I couldn’t believe it! I was new to Etsy and a friend taught me how to look up where your traffic was coming from. That’s how I realized the doll made it on Buzzfeed. 🤣🤣🤣 I had no idea! 🙌🏾🤩 Thank you Buzzfeed! I think I’ll make him with his current look. Hopefully it will make it to their list again! 🤞🏾 #adwoadesign
