Pastel Sunset

The tones of colours throughout the piece blend quite nicely. The shrubbery including both bushes and small trees contain quite articulate detail and blend quite well into the piece. The cliffs, sky and mostly everything is absolutely stunning. Terrific work by reddit user ekgreen

Forest of Liars: peaceful morning

This awesome piece of concept art made in Adobe Photoshop for a project currently in its funding phase named Forest of Liars. Forest of Liars is an adventure video game made by Umeshu Lovers studio. The game core principles lie within other characters you’ll meet throughout your journey further and further into the depths of the forest as well as the many decisions needed to be untaken in such a beautiful and dangerous environment.  

The conceptual art piece itself is wonderful. A key part of concept art is envisioning the ideas and stories for a game or another form of narrative before the process has begun. Concept art can also give a greater insight, expand on existing stories and even create whole new ones. The captivating use of green and floral textures bring the whole piece together superbly. A beautiful environment and fantastic forest designs encapsulated in this digital painting.

A swan in water

Never have I ever seen such a beautiful piece of art.

In this digital painting done within Photoshop by reddit user TameCreature is a ol’ swam doing a bit of underwater exploration amongst the watery foliage. Despite the nature of the neck being slightly too long and slim from a personal preference the overall piece is beautiful. The way the colours blend together to create a wonderful depth of the water. Simply a beautiful perspective.

April 21, 2018 - White-collared Blackbird or White-collared Thrush (Turdus albocinctus)

These thrushes are found from northern India east to southern China. They eat invertebrates, including various insects and earthworms, along with fruits. Breeding from March to July, they build their cup-shaped nests from moss, grass, rootlets, and stems.

Damn Daniel back at it again with another..... oil on canvas but this time from the 1980′s haha and wait until you hear this it’s not actually from the eighties, haha bamboozled one again ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

As to not be confused by my previous expression of humour this particular piece was not actually painted in the 80s just a jazzy title shall we say. The colours and textures are intriguing to the eye, a truly marvellous piece of work.

Gray Mountain, Bob Ross, 1992

An excellent use of colour and atmosphere within an amazing oil piece that was painted in the finals years of Bob Ross’s life on his show “The Joy Of Painting” before his death in 1995 due to Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. Bob Ross may of been and is still a idol of the art world but his style and his nature of happiness and positive vibes that he brought to the audience of his show. An artist that the world should never forget.

Michelangelo’s "Frog David"

🐸👌 An excellent drawing so excellent you could even say it’s absolutely   ribbeting created by reddit user SmallLebowsky. The line work is superb throughout the sketch. A parody sketch inspired by one Michelangelo’s sculptures except lacking the more vulgar bits resulting in an excellent twist on classic example of an architecture masterpiece. She Will Come Tomorrow

An amazing oil on canvas painting named She Will Come Tomorrow by Edwin Deakin painted in the year 1888. Excellent use of both shadows and light. The detail is immaculate and in particular this can be seen in the well done stained glass windows in the right side of the piece. From real life accounts of the painting it has been described as being very well composed due the nature of the paintings texture, for example the stone and glass emulates this.
