i personally love this skintone: this is real-skin brown indoors, natural light... if you are not in a hurry, i can snap some photos in comparison to normal skin, supia brown and RS in light tan next weekend.

hey anyone have luts darker real skin tones that they can post pictures of? i am seriously considering one of their girls but can't decide on which skin tone i want

I'm not a massive k-pop fan, but when I tried the pink wig, which is actually intended for incoming Sebestian, on Kay (Supia dreamig Rosy boy), I was immediately like "He looks like that pink-haired guy from BTS". Hence this photoshoot. (Yeah, I didn't even remember Jimin's name - true fans, please excuse me - but I'm almost 30 and I know nothing about cool things).

Modern!Tristan is one of those awful people, who got into a prestigious university just because his father paid for his admission, and then did mostly drugs and slept around (oh boy, “around” doesn’t even fully describe the scope of his activities) and after graduation still landed a lucrative position in a major company, where he stayed for a few years. Now he works as a marketing designer for a cutting-edge start-up, has about 742 opinions about coffee and scorns people, who have never seen any Kurosawa’s movie. He lives in a designer flat, wears thick-rimmed glasses when working on his Mac. The scar on his lip is a reminder that sometimes the girl you sleep with may actually have a boyfriend.

I re-did the same photos I shot 3 years ago - here’s a link to the original photos. All the photos were taken at the same place, only at a different height from the ground. My editing skills have definitely improved.

Who wore it better? Engelhardt or Tristan.

Engelhardt will most probably keep this outfit - his body looked too yellow in red pants I sew him and I originally wanted him to wear. So red, black and gold move to Tristan. White, black gold stays with Engelhardt.

Pale Rider

I am torn between two different concepts for Engelhardt (Musen Ke), the first one is in the pictures above. The other one is him in the short ginger wig. He is such an interesting sculpt and despite the fangs protruding from his mouth he can actually look almost sweet, so I'm thinking if I really want to make him so in-your-face demonic with all that white hair and pale eyes.

I’m waiting for Sebastian to finally come home to decide Engelhardt’s faith. My family definitely likes him demonic... which is a bit new.

The Death and the maiden

Engelhardt beside being a demon is also Mendryka’s guardian. He found her (more precisely bought her) when she was barely ten years old and took her to travel with him. Mendryka grew up looking at him with admiration which has been slowly changing into love of a young woman for a man, which is something Engelhardt is unable to reciprocate.

Sometimes they wear casual. Engelhardt got his own body... and it doesn’t match. But he needs to keep it so he may use his clawed legs one day.

He needs new eyes but I have no idea what colour I should pick for him. Originally, I wanted this character to be shelled as Soom Euclase with long white hair but this style does not fit the new Engelhardt.

When he arrived I had a hunch his head would be on the smaller side and I was correct. He can’t be put on bodies which are too muscular.

Luts senior delf is too small; old Infiniti doll SD17 body is a great match both size-wise and resin-wise; and Dollzone (b70-003) in pink skin has a tad too long neck and is slightly more pink.

On April 25th I ordered a Musen head Ke, he was posted on 14th June and today I finally got him during an afternoon delivery. Right before a huge hailstorm broke out. Symbolism much.

He came without a CoA or any name plate but I already contacted the dealer about it.

He is supposed to be a shell for Engelhardt instead of a Soom Euclase I had to let go because the gray skin did not really work out. I wish I had all my doll stuff at hand now to try different wigs and eyes on him as the original concept won’t probably quite fit. The head feels smaller and more realistic than for example Luts heads - he should look nice on a SD17 body. I originally planned to get him a Resinsoul 70cm body, but maybe be that would be too huge...
