@seekmywayout Yes, and tbh Taichi is my least fave like he is probably the best person in the manga but I find his support Ikezawa choice to be eye rolling. Which is probably why my fave male character is Nogi 😂 (unrelated but I really enjoyed Ikezawa x Nogi that one time, but I doubt they'll go that way either). The Taichi/Ikezawa/Eiji situatuion was indeed dragging and also kinda off, everything was spinning between the other leads, Ikezawa seems nosy to a lot of people and I can't blame them, she feels like such an outsider to the plot until now. And once we get some cute blushing...she helps Eiji towards another girl. I really hope they go with 'it just happened' & then they develop feelings rather than they liked each other already cause it makes little sense or I just saw too much of Eiji being annoyed. I also feel Eiji & Fujimura will ran from each other for 20 more chapters while Ikezawa becomes a horrible, pushy third wheel 😭 I really want to be wrong & we actually get a good arc for her but I feel author favours Fujimura in every sense. Eiji kinda rejected her but also seemed open enough for it not to be a never. I can't see them as friends tbh but like Fujimura, I do want Ikezawa to have friends? Idk they seem completely alone all the time and only focused on their love life now. I wanted all 3 girls to become friends as well but I feel it'd be too weird now. I already talked about Taichi but same, I hope they don't go that way at all. I think she already rejected his help after talking with Nogi? Cause them talking about Eiji was just NG to Taichi, so idk how & why she would be interested in him. It can happen but I feel they have little chemistry together. I made it too long I think heh!

I agree! Right now it kinda seems like she’s becoming Taichi 2.0 though, which I really hope isn’t the case because that’s redundant. And also because imo Taichi’s arc has been dragging.

Unfortunately I feel like she’ll just keep pining after Eiji until he fully gets together with Fujimura and properly (?) turns her down for good.

maybe I’m remembering wrong but has Eiji actually rejected her in plain words? please no more, “why would you like someone like me?” “I don’t think I’m ready for love.” Those kind of blanket statements are just… too broad… vaguely hopeful. Even if she realizes that he doesn’t like her the same way. ugh. I just want him to tell her that. ok I think I was probably remembering this wrong but I’ll leave the text here anyway lol.

What I’d want to see: they become book buddies and genuine friends. Or, even, they don’t become friends. That’s fine too because sometimes when you have real feelings for someone and they don’t return them, it’s too hard to become friends with them.

What I personally don’t want to see is her getting together with Taichi. Er, I guess it really depends on how it’s done but if it’s something like, “well I’ll give you a chance because I never got one with Eiji” ngl I will be unhappy. That’d just be patronizing and honestly, not true to herself. So I’ll want anything to happen but that lol.

I really hope Taichi doesn't stop dating Futaba over this. Unless he has sudden feelings for Touma (I never got this vibe, just that he was jealous and had an inferiority complex esp about that previous girl liking Touma instead of him), if he stops cause he does not want to hurt him...or sth, nooo. Like even leaving Futaba cause of her Uni would make more sense. But I'd hate that after all of this, they stop being friends (at the start of the manga Taichi was so annoyed at him and they reach the point of being bff again, it'll be sad) and all of his suffering for Futaba and Futaba's inner turmoil with Touma vs Taichi ends up in nothing tbh. I hope he learns he doesn't have to choose. Also I find the school's reaction pretty unrealistic tbh, considering this manga, I am not sure everyone would be basically shipping them or as chill even if Touma is at the top of the popularity chain -in Japan-.

 It's sad that I don't know Japanese but I just have to comment cause my good ending involves NaoIzumi, EijiIkezawa aaaaand FujimuraTaichi. So the last panels were like yassss because I think there's potential there (the conversation might not even lean towards romance lol but let's suppose). Why?  

-FujimuraTaichi don't seem to make much sense but they did interact before and it was an interesting interaction. He knows about her scheme with Eiji. What I think would be good for this couple to happen is that Fujimura is the most immature selfish character in this manga (also one of the more interesting ones) imo, while Taichi is def the selfless guy trope, wanting to help Ikezawa, rejected & all. Taichi fell for Ikezawa superficially & Fujimura somehow just needs to feel loved either by Bessho or her ex. I hope this situation will one day be explained cause she also didn't give a crap about Izumi wanting to be her friend, anyway I feel her character would benefit if she develops sth with Taichi the most. They seem like the same kind of people regarding personality in some way.

 FujimuraEiji is a couple I don't really like & kinda fear they will go this way. I get the fact the fake lovers turn couple is interesting but I find it a bit cliche. Plus idk they don't seem compatible at all. I would stand behind them being friends who help each other, would be more interesting at least.

 IkezawaEiji seem to be getting closer and I sometimes can't imagine why the author would not make them an item. I feel her character in that case would be kinda wasted, if she is rejected later & say Eiji goes to Fujimura, it'd be pointless? Like any other girl would do, but she is also a main character. Considering how there have been so many rejected characters we would not get anything different than before. I can only get behind this if she ends up with Nogi cause he is my fave male character of the manga lol but also because I felt they had good chemistry in their small interaction. He is fun. Anyway I feel the fact they are not that close makes for a better approach as a couple, but I'm not sure how they'll develop this at all. 

 Ah I consider TaichiIkezawa pointless as well, she really doesn't seem to care at all & I think he deserves to be a first choice rather than a rebound. He is one of my least fave characters but seriously. IzumiNao... well they won't be too interesting now. I wouldn't have mind him with Fujimura but they are solid together.

Why Yamato & Yuiji shouldn't stay just friends: Okay I get it, it's realistic and stuff. Yuiji helped Yamato so much, I understand partly why being friends is an ending to some people BUT I feel Seki fills that unconditional friend trope already. Nacchan does as well. They love him and are friends no matter what. If they end up solely friends I feel it's not only a waste but a bit of what's the point? Yuiji as a helper type of friend also kinda fulfilled his role as well. Yamato won't out himself to the school. Yuiji & his girlfriend are over. What else can happen that makes Yuiji's character of importance. If Yamato was the sole MC ok but it's not so I'll be pissed lol. Both have amazing best friends already, so I will be completely honest a friends only ending would be a let down to me. Anyway I have faith considering Tagura's other manga. I can't understand why their panels would be as romantic and tense if they are just friends like they don't give me the same feeling with Seki or Yuiji's bf. I feel other characters pointing out Yuiji being Yamato's #1 or phrases that show how they have a special bond can't just mean 'new best friend' but more foreshadowing. Aah I need new chapters.

I think it really does? It's even similarish (but better) to Yuka's? JJ all have different voices so in that sense she is a really nice addition.

Manaka’s voice doesn’t fit in with the rest of Juice=Juice. They should have debuted Hokkaido kenshuusei with Manaka as the leader instead.

At last! It happened! I never saw any signs of Taichi having any kind of feelings for Touma but envy&friendship, so I don't see this going anywhere in that sense, I really hope this ends up being a bittersweet moment that will allow Touma move on while not losing his bff. I can imagine some weird atmosphere for some time. Taichi's thoughts are kinda hard. I think it refers to not wanting to know but actually realizing at the same time and being conflicted about it. I don't think the thought ever crossed his mind so he must feel confused af. I'm just happy Touma won't have to hide anymore. In the end that secret must be suffocating.
