I really hope time doesn't do that to me.
It's... nothing. A lot of people around here are pretty gloomy, so I just thought it was nice, how... bright you are.

...Really? I... don't think I'll be getting much sleep from now on.
Er... thanks? Isaac's not such a bad name, either.

Well, no one here's strictly normal, yeah?
You're right. You definitely shouldn't offer me any more drugs, though. They make me... aggressive.

I - you are? Well, I guess you can't judge a book by its cover, afterall. I'm sure your destructive tendencies get all the ladies.

And... yeah. Most people have been pretty friendly.

Well, we say it because it's true.
I - having to deny myself something isn't something I'm used to, but I'm sure I'll have to do it a lot here in Division. And, uh, I have some friends like that in D.C. I-is that bad? Should I cut all ties?
Morning

Huh. So how'd someone as honest as you get stuck down here at Division? You don't seem like the criminal type.

Um. I don't think I get a period whenever I sleep too little. At least, I should hope I don't.
Wow, that sounds... painful. Are you always this happy?

You're right. It's sad, but I was a rich kid when I was younger. It's not really my place to say what should and shouldn't happen to them.
Morning
Bad things don’t just magically not happen to little kids, it’s just that there’s sometimes people there to protect them. And sometimes there’s not.

You know what they say, chief. Believe to achieve.
But I really do think we should work on my combat first. I don't want to lose to an eight-year-old, now do I?

He looked new? So much for trying not to look like a complete newbie. Keith accepted his pencil with an even wider smile, getting a closer look at his classmate now that they were both crouching down. He - Daniel - really was cute. “I’m Keith. It’s nice to meet you, Daniel.” He thought about offering his hand for a handshake, but decided against it when he saw the others already getting to work. “I look new? Damn.” He shook his head as he voiced his thoughts aloud. “I got here a week ago. You’re pretty new, yourself, aren’t you?”
Since he’d been talking to Daniel, he missed quite a bit of the beginning of the lesson. Keith knew he wasn’t going to learn that much that day, so he set out his materials, left them unopened, and leaned over to talk to Daniel some more. “I honestly have no idea what’s going on.” Obviously his whispers weren’t soft enough, because the teacher turned around and shot him a death glare. Keith shrugged sheepishly, putting on his most innocent smile. The warning look didn’t keep Keith from talking, though.
“I haven’t seen you around here, Daniel. And here I thought I’d met all the recruits already.” He was careful to keep his voice as quiet as he could. Nervously, he rolled his pencil between his fingers on the surface on his desk. Keith hoped the teacher wouldn’t do something like throw her piece of chalk at him. It was surreal, feeling like he was in college again.

No, no, you don't have to be sorry. That one was on me.
I see what you mean. But, god, at eight? When I was eight, I was learning my multiplication tables.
Morning
S-sorry.
I m-mean, it’s a harsh world. S-sometimes you learn to fight or you learn to get hurt. Th-those are the options.

I really hope not, it's not usual for me to make people who i just met hate me.
I'm sorry I can't say the same about myself, but it's pretty man of you to do that.
