...Imagine your f/o meeting your pet for the first time

Would they be all awkward or run straight up to your pet, trying to befriend it?

If they're scared of pets, Imagine them being all nervous when meeting it, only to later realise that; Hey, this is not so bad!

Imagine coming home from work and finding your f/o cuddled up together with your pet on the couch, or sitting down on the floor talking to it in a silly voice

Imagine your f/o, having like hundred of photos in their gallery of you, and your pet (...and which one would they have most photos of?)

Imagine cuddling your f/o, AND your pet, all of you being like a lil family :')

Imagine taking a bath or shower with your f/o.

Imagine running your soapy hands through their hair, gently massaging the shampoo into their scalp. Hearing your f/o hum or sigh contently, eyes closed and a smile on their face.

And them do the same for you, gently scrubbing the day’s worries from your skin, rubbing away every tension. Just feeling your f/o’s presence right next to you, as well as the droplets rolling down your spines.

Maybe this is a moment where you can finally unwind. Where you can chat and fill each other in on how your days went. Or, maybe you both stay in silence. Both finding it comfortable without the urge to speak.

Just relax, and take care of one another.

Imagine you & your f/o(s) going out and you’re perfectly fine for a while but it hits suddenly: you’re out of energy for the outing. You don’t say anything, you don’t want to ruin the good time, but you don’t need to say anything. Your f/o(s) know you well enough to know when you’re tuckered out and need to recharge.

They take you home and order in food and give you some time to rest, whether that’s with them or not. When you’re ready, whether it’s that night or the next morning, or even longer, they’ll be there waiting with open arms.

And there’s no need to worry, you’ll always be invited, even if you have to leave early.

Your partner is trying to hide their nonhuman nature. You figured it out months ago but play along because you find their antics amusing.

it could be you're having a panic attack,

or you're simply just overwhelmed,

it could be anything - but the fact is, you're not exactly doing the best right now

big or small, you're f/o is determined to help

are they distracting you? helping you get your mind off of what's going on?

are they sitting down with you and simply listening to your worries? keeping you grounded and making sure you're comfortable?

are they basically encaging you in a fluffy blanket/their arms? keeping you there until your breathing and tense shoulders visibly relax?

it could be a combination of these, all three, or something entirely different- either way, your f/o is trying their absolute best to calm you down
